As always, thank you @DRW50. I loved Kim and Dan. I used to look forward to seeing them in the park with Betsy. The scenes were so warm and romantic.

I hope some of that shows up eventually. I've heard so much about the park scenes and how much they were used to humanize Kim.

As always, thanks for the' tag! That ending of SFT was new to me. The P&G title card was different than any other I've seen. Also KIM!!!

Thank you, @DRW50, as always, for tagging me!  It was GREAT to see that clip of Kathryn Hays and John Colenback!  I'm with @All My Shadows: I, too, am ready to "Follow ATWT" into the fire, lol!

@DRW50 Thank you for the tag.

1970s P&G shows are rare so promos/clips/episodes are a treat.

Looking back, that's probably why I first fell in love with Kim.

I know back then VCRs were very expensive so you can't tape everything but I really wish there was someone around like that lady who taped all the news programs in these years.

Every few months I check out the Internet Archive website hoping that maybe by chance some of those Marion Stokes videos "accidentally" recorded an afternoon of 1980s/1990s soaps.  What a treasure trove she left behind.

This is something I just posted in the Another World topic, but it pertains to ATWT & so I thought you might be interested in it. You may know this already.

One thing I have been told is that when ATWT wanted to tell Luke's story, they intentionally & specifically approached one of the writers of AMC Bianca's coming out storyline, Jean Passanante, and they asked her: Can you do this again but with a guy? She, of course, said she could. And, the rest, as they say, is history.

Groovy pin on Kim.

Kim was also rocking that pink dress, for what, middle of the afternoon talk with her sexy uptight doctor, and Hayes was showing a nice tight bod there....I know, "Now LISTEN kiddo, quit staring at my rack!"

I wouldn't say history..yea, they made googoo eyes at each other, had a kiss, jumped on a bed..and what? Now a hot storyline they would never have the..guts..to do, is to have the Larry Lau character actually seduce Luke and they actually have a scandalous affair behind Lucinda's back...I mean, I couldn't stand Luke or the actor, but they had to have eveyone fall in love with him, so make it interesting and soapy with consequnces, not a bland gay romance of two twinks that seemingly dont have sex.

I mean at least Olvia and whatsherface had a soapy kind of longing thing, while one was preggers with the clueless Frank, so it had some consequences...(even though poor Liv's partner was dull as dishwater.)

I know they did the deed at least once. It was very clear.

But, I do not disagree with you when it comes to P&G & guts! After all, we can never discount the fact that they did Pete Lemay dirty over a gay storyline that was to have been told in the 70s.

I have a video clips of Jessica Leccia in a WLW sex scene that would possibly burn out your eye sockets.

Remember that other ATWT's color grab that reatured Kim and Jennifer from somewhere in 73/74?

Kim was sporting that swept up hairdo.

Pin page

I feel like her hair was even bigger in that clip than it is in this photo. I never thought to do a screenshot of it at the time because I assumed it would never be taken down, considering it was just a few seconds of a scene and then a closing billboard. The only way I can describe how I remember it is that it was sort of a cross between later Elizabeth Collins Stoddard and early Mary Richards, just with more hair on top and less on the bottom.

Wait!!! I found a picture of her with the hair!
