Members Khan
Yawn. And judging from Sharon Case's body language, she's in agreement. Either that, or she's thinking, "God, not the Twitter [!@#$%^&*] AGAIN? Did you learn nothing from before, asswad?"

Members DaytimeFan
Of course it's that !@#$%^&*] Michael Muhney. Won't be watching Y&R anytime soon.
Administrator Toups Posted June 5, 2010 Administrator Share Posted June 5, 2010 He left? Why would there be an "announcement" of a return? I mean, wasn't Adam's "death" part of the storyline?
Members Juliajms
I don't really get it either. I wonder how long he's back for? Are they really keeping Adam as a long term character after everything he's done? I shouldn't be that surprised at this point. I guess Adam will be the Y&R version of EJ. Administrator Toups Posted June 5, 2010 Administrator Share Posted June 5, 2010 I like Adam's heinous acts so I wouldn't mind if he stuck around. Just as long as they don't make him a romantic lead and pair him with one of his victims.
Members Juliajms
Obviously I like Adam/MM, but the issue for me is that having this type of character on long term doesn't feel true to what used to be Y&R. I know I have to accept that that ship sailed long ago, but it's still such a glaring change it still stands out to me. I'm never going to understand why the #1 show on daytime thinks that becoming more like Days is a good idea. I'm not knocking Day's. I'm just saying I don't see why anyone would think Y&R should change it's identity so radically.

Members Sylph
He just auditioned. And I'd add: foolishly so. I have no idea what gave him the idea that he might be the lead on that show. He bit more than he can chew.
Members Juliajms
Ego. I'm always surprised when soap stars leave a sure thing just on the hopes of getting a pilot, but I guess they wouldn't be in show business if they didn't have a lot of...self confidence.
