For awhile, it seemed like Becker and Marian Vajda had a good thing going because Vajda didn't want to travel as much and Becker did lift Djokovic to a more consistent player, but I always thought that Vajda was going to be Djoker's main coach, even with Becker's supercoach status.

I don't know what 'upset' that balance or if it was just that in the end, Djokovic felt that Becker was never meant to be longterm (over years and years).

Several weeks ago, Becker also claimed that he felt Novak became less motivated with that absence of Federer and Nadal. Was that really a factor though??

Not a surprise actually. Becker had been missing at several Tour events. I mentioned to someone that Djokovic's Spanish meditation guru was seen in his box several times in a prominent place, and wondered what would that mean for Becker. I guess I got my answer. Djokovic posted his statement on FB but here's Becker's thoughts on the split:

Boris Becker says Novak Djokovic wasn't practising as hard over past six months

Actually, there's been a coaching carousel in the last week and a half.

Kvitova and Pliskova switched coaches.  Milos Raonic parted ways with Carlos Moya. Madison Keys, we all know about already and Anne Keothavong takes over the Great Britain Fed Cup team from Judy Murray.

I didn't know about Moya. I never liked him with Milos. Milos doesn't have it to win a major. He either gets so nervous that he lays an egg or runs out of gas and gets injured. The only one he has a shot of winning is Wimbledon because of his serve.

Not too surprised about Becker being gone. I read where Novak said he was going to work harder and regain his #1 ranking away from rope a dope Murray. I guess with Fed and Nadal at the end of the career and no one else to get him motivated has affected Novak's game. I always thought that Nole didn't care much in losing to Murray in his early days.

Apparently, Christina McHale is too busy retweeting Ryan Harrison and John Isner to figure out why she can't win matches efficiently or under 5 hours. I will stop bothering with her and her dimming tennis prospects from now on.<_<

She probably has the hots for her future brother in law and John Isner....LOL.  I guess Christina forgets Ryan has a younger brother that's available....LOL

Genie comes off aa a total bitch!  Who would want to work with her? Her game went downhill fast and I don't see her being this great player.

Not for someone who speaks English as a 5th language.

I was all set to post this news about Vika-

Then I checked my newsfeed a few minutes ago and saw this.:o:(

2016 is a year I don't want a repeat of...ever!

There has been a message posted through a fan Twitter feed that Petra is now with her family and is alright. No word from her reps so far but I'm not expecting anything right now, TBH.
