As someone who used to detest watching Shayna Rose, once I saw her out of that hospital garb and into some real clothes, I have to say she's growing on me. I just wish they would stop the constant "My parents belong together" rant because it didn't work for Sami. It didn't work for Chelsea. What makes you think it will work for Stephanie?

I'm glad I didn't decide to write Stephanie out for good and had that last minute writing change and brought her back as a hostage. GOOD THINKING DREW

Now, I know I might get bashed for this, but Steve kissing the life back into a "dead" Kayla was just ridiculous. It would have been alright if he did it while she was flatlining, but after the doctor called the time of death was overkill. So now are we supposed to believe the love Steve/Kayla is so strong, he can kiss her back to life? I think not. That was just so cheesy.

The rest of the show was good.

You won't get bashed from me because I thought it was ridiculous too and thought that it would have come off much better had he did it while she was flatlining to. The reciting of the bible reading from thier wedding was done really well and I thought that was the best part of the episode.

Between the Marlena/John/Smokey scenes and the Steve/Kayla kissing her back to life, I felt there was just a little too much cheesiness in the show for my liking today.

I'm sure tomorrow will be a better one.

Yeah. The flatlining was unnecessary. Reciting the Corinthian and kissing her to keep her AWAKE? That would have been far, far stronger. Who's the idiot who wrote today's script? A lot fo regressions today, imo.

I thought today's show was great and liked how it was directed. I liked the slow mo at the beginning of the episode when Marlena turned around to see the "hooded figure" walking towards the front door. I adore Deidre, but she hams it up too much sometimes as she did in todays show. Tone it down a little Deidre!

I actually enjoyed the Kayla/Steve scenes, I just hated that the doc called the time for Kayla's death and the family didnt even really react. I was waiting for someone to pound on the glass or at least look devastated.

My favorite scene were watching Victor/Claire/Phillip, John Aniston is always great to watch. There was an eerieness to the scenes that made them really work.

John/Marlena dance was nice, I really enjoy those 2 together.

I may be in the minority but I like Shanya Rose and hope she stays on as Stephanie.

What I loved was Bo and Hope scenes... they didn't have many, but they were really cute! And the hug and the smiles between them.. aw... my Bope is back! For now at least...

Anyway, I didn't mind John/Marlena romance scenes at the cabin.. they were okay..

And Steve/Kayla stuff was okay in the beginning... but I kept thinking he would "breathe" life into her during her flatline, but after doctors called it?! That was too much... But oh, well... I'm just glad we are finally moving on...

Good thing is that Steve remembered more... I am so ready for him to get his full memory back, reunite with Kayla for real and to start a search on what happened that day when Steve "died"...

Oh, and I was really sad when Hope told Caroline that Kayla flatlined and Caroline went to the glass and yelled out: Kayla, it's mama! (or something like that) Peggy was great!

Oh and another thing... I JUST LOOOOVE Victor! And this storyline with Philip is great! Loving it!

Now, *THIS* is what I am talking about!!!!!!!!!!!

That Phillip scene was CREEPY AS FCK!

Ummmmm, ok this Smokey Robinson thing is the dumbest thing.

Having Smokey Robinson in this plot is really stupid.

I think there would have been a better way to get John and Marlena a new song,

than having some random singer show up and become their new best friend.

What's next...Clay Aiken is going to come over to Alice's to help decorate the Christmas tree

and burst into song?

Steve and Kayla...I don't really care about these strangers dying for weeks on end.

I know they were the Luke and Laura type back in the day...but I came to Days in '93 so I missed all that.

I like the actors. But I really don't care if their characters live or die.

All I see is newbies hoggin all the air time from people I do know about and care about.

I watched Sleeping Beauty back when I was 5. I don't need to see it again.

Patrick has sucked balls since day one...so I don't care about what he is up to.

I'm just waiting for him to get his big send off.

I don't need to see John and Marlena swapping spit.

They are old and it's gross.

Together for years now? When would that be? The last time they were together for/after a longer period of time was 2003. They've been seperated by Tony's drugging, brainwashing and kidnapping Marlena, and Alex' drugging and brainwashing.

It's nice that the show actually gave J&M and their fans special attention, it might be a first. They've never gotten something "special" like this. They had a song, but it was taken and used for other couples, so was their special thing. J&M fans have deserved this.

If Shawn was acting the way he has, I wouldn't let him near my kid if he begged me. He needs to back up those sweet words with actions.

My only problem with Thursday's episode was this:

It took Bo like 2 commercial breaks to make it to the hospital from the Salem airport

and John was in Canada and in the cabin with Marlena in 1 commercial break. WHATEVS...

Other than that good episode.

Also, Marlena under Hoagie is weird. I can't tell if it's good weird or bad weird.

The Smokey Robinson stuff was cheesy, but it was finally nice to see some touching and very romantic moments between John and Marlena. It definetly just FIT with their romance!!

Now had it been Bo & Hope I would have thought it was stupid, but with J&M..I don't know it just WORKS!
