  1. Thanks for the heads up! My husband will be excited. I don't watch it, but hubby keeps telling me I should. He *loves* him some Dr. Heavenly.
  2. It was kinda ho-hum for me, too. The Naomi Campbell wannabe already has me rolling my eyes. But we'll give it a try...
  3. Yaaass! Eileen and Christopher Sean (!!!) are back! Plus, I love me some Loretta Devine.
  4. Side note: My mom loves to recall the time she and her mom were watching a soap called Somerset in the 70's, and they went on vacation for 2 weeks right when a character was shot dead and fell behind a couch out of sight. They thought for sure they'd be so out of the loop with the storyline when they returned, but as it turned out, 2 weeks later and the people of Somerset still had yet to discover the body!
  5. Definitely. My husband is a psychotherapist and he was eyerolling SO hard at that scene. It paints his profession in a bad light, especially in the black community where there's already a negative stigma. I need one of them (preferably someone from the inner coven, dare to dream) to ask Erika, "Exactly HOW are you exonerated?" I thought Sutton handled her apology well, and until it was brought up a second time in front of the whole group (not your best idea, Queen Garcelle), she explained her viewpoint to Dorit rather well (her previous trauma with home invasions and guns). Kyle can go eat a thousand dicks, starting with Erika's bumpy log. Look at Terri DeMarco's thirsty ass trying to get in some camera time. Next week looks rough as they target Sutton yet again and try to paint her as a racist.
  6. Same. I love how production clowns Drew & Ralph at every chance. Makes me wonder what they're like behind the scenes, or if their delusions of grandeur are just too big to gloss over.
  7. DAYS, back in '96.... Kate using the phrase "schemed and plotted" when referencing Sami's manipulative efforts to keep Carrie & Austin apart. I actually kind of loved it though, lol. Years after the fact, I'd still use that phrase with my sister and she'd instantly know what I was referring to.
  8. Yikes. Right around the time DAYS was gearing up for their 50th anniversary, with their returns of Steve and Bo, suddenly everything was lit with a greenish hue and it stayed that way at least through 2016. Nowadays whenever it's nighttime in Salem, everything is lit up with a harsh blue, like it's a very bright moonlight even indoors. I don't get it. At least get back to the moody dark shadows of the mid 90's (think: Aremid, etc.) to help cover up the cheapness of the sets. Speaking of Aremid, I definitely appreciated DAYS' production values in the 90's up to the mid-2000's, when sets were large, mostly lit properly, and sets of homes and establishments had multiple parts to them, instead of just one flat room that everyone goes in and out of like a highschool play.
  9. I am so ready for Sheree to redeem herself for her mostly disastrous 1st return (See: Season 10 reunion), and she is BRINGING it. And to go up against that lil yapping puppydog known as Drew is delicious to watch. In the words of Melissa Gorga, "you messed with the wrong one!." Drew is SO extra and she's lucky she got second season by default since they lost two heavyhitters from last year. Re: Ralph gay rumors. Methinks the lady doth protest too much. That said, he can be on my team any day. This season is shaping up to be good so far!
  10. BH: Okay first of all, I did love the premiere episode of Beverly Hills. Love 'em or hate 'em, there's always something good happening. I actually don't think the Dorit robbery was a scam. It felt very raw to me, and she seemed genuinely disturbed to the point that she was obsessively worrying where PK's phone was and then tried to calm herself down while waiting for him to return. It humbled her (we'll see how long it lasts), and my golly is this the first time we've ever seen Dorit with ZERO glam on her face? Speaking of suspicious burglaries though, I thought it strange how Kyle said she couldn't imagine going through someone breaking into her home. Um, wasn't she robbed like 2 or 3 years ago? Or is she referring to being held at gunpoint? Something about Kyle's wordings made me side-eye her. Erotika continues to be a cesspool of suckage and blowing the wind out of anyone's sail that comes her way. Rinna's confessional look with the sleek long hair. That's a keeper. I'll give her that much. Meanwhile, I'm sorry, but you shouldn't include your daughter in your promotional shots for your makeup line. Jussayin'.... (or at least choose more flattering shots. Rinna was probably only looking at herself). Okay, so Kyle is going to play up the idea of Sutton only being into herself and not caring about anyone else's problems. First of all, a big F-U to thinking Sutton should give a damn about Erika. And secondly, it seemed like Kyle/Sutton were playing catch-up on their own lives, but Kyle was so heavily focused on Dorit that God forbid they talk about anything else. I see you Producer Kyle. Some things never change. Garcelle continues to be the Queen goddess of reason and smart remarks, taking the throne from LVP. Oh. Hi Crystal. Look forward to next week!
  11. I thought it might be a college intern getting to do a bit part. I know they allow interns to be extras on B&B.
  12. I've been under the weather and caught up on the last 3 weeks and one thing I can say is that the canvas is BLOATED and it's no wonder stories and plot points are dropped and picked up at awkward times, killing momentum or making weird gaps in time. Wouldn't it be cheaper to cut the cast by a 3rd and focus on giving more airtime to a smaller amount of people? Everything is so frenetic and all over the place. There's no character development. Ron C is burnt out.
  13. He's such a waste of airtime. With the crazy cast size, whether they're on contract on heavily recurring, they desperately need to trim the fat and cut the dead wood. Jake and Ava would be the first to go IMO.
  14. Side Note: It continues to baffle me how/why B&B's Katherine Kelly Lang gets overlooked year after year, decade after decade. 35 years kicking ass as Brooke and she's only been nominated like twice and I don't think it was even in as a lead.
  15. For what it's worth, having DAYS in there twice actually knocked B&B out of the running for Best Writing and Directing. Speaking of barfing, my only shock was seeing Stacy Haiduk nominated. I'm sorry, but she's awful. There, I said it.
  16. I'm excited for it! It looks a tad restrictive, only showing them at Blue Stone Manor the entire time, but I'm digging what I'm seeing.
  17. Agreed. He was the embodiment of Guiding Light. A great actor and a great man. What a loss. RIP.
  18. Those are cute taglines. I like almost all of them. But yeah, they should've redone everyone, instead of doing a hodge-podge of old and new. Why are they skimping? Bravo's biggie $ like Bethenny and Nene are long gone; they have money.
  19. The ATL ladies look great. I'm surprised by the lack of promotion for it. ATL and BH always seemed like Bravo's bread and butter for the last 10+ years in Housewivesland. I'm still thinking they need a peacemaker / neutral Switzerland / "normal one" in the form of Cynthia Bailey, but I'm open to seeing how this crop of women will interact.
  20. Even before the drama with Teresa's current beau, I would venture to say Teresa's dorters and Joe/Melissa's kids don't see each other very often unless the cameras are rolling...
  21. I think those are called biceps. lol
  22. I'm down with that. LOL Randomly picking up Carter/Quinn and Carter/Paris/Zende after weeks on the backburner is so.... Days of Our Lives (Ron Carlivati's version). But they definitely need to beef up their "B" stories so I give them credit for that. The Carter/Quinn tale is where they need to go. They've thrown their plate of spaghetti known as Paris at so many walls hoping something will stick, and it's just not. Carter, Zende, Finn, Thomas. Next, they'll bring back Maya and give them a chem test. Side note: So Bridget has been in L.A. this whole time, they just don't show her? And now she pops up in the hospital as a glorified dayplayer. Wow.
  23. Other than Eric Braeden a few times in the last two decades, I remember one from early 2001 of Alison Sweeney... "Sami gets everything she wants!" EDIT: Oh wait, there was a couple solo Deidre Hall covers in 2004 for the serial killer story.
  24. Thanks for posting What's crazy is I have this exact episode on VHS tape somewhere stored away. Years and years ago I got a few DAYS 1966 episodes. I can't even remember where or who from.
