  1. A true daytime diva never reveals all her beauty secrets. She simply goes “on vacation” for 2 weeks and comes back looking “well rested.”
  2. :::shrug::: I’ve been getting it since I was 34. A lot more people do it than you realize, we just don’t go overboard. Re: Nadia, Chrishelle, and let’s throw Jacquie Wood from B&B in here too… that’s not [just] Botox giving them a funhouse mirror look. Filler and other enhancements, likely under the knife, not just an injection.
  3. I've never watched Let's Make A Deal ever, but sadly I must admit CBS made the right choice to cancel Guiding Light. They would never have 2.6 million viewers in 2022...
  4. Gurl same Ed Hartwell, Apollo, and Eddie Judge
  5. This coy, flirtatious crap between Carter & Katie is for the birds. Just f--k already.
  6. :::In my best Carolyn Hinsey voice::: I'm back from Paris. Did you miss me? LOL. Hubby & I went back to Paris to celebrate the big 4-0 for him, and since then I've been up to my eyeballs at work... but I've been keeping tabs on everyone keeping this thread alive and popping. I'll just add in what's currently on my mind: POTOMAC: - I loved how they started the season with the 4 vets together in the park. Seven seasons in, and we have 4 originals, 1 original back as a messy, sloppy, thirsty friend-of (Hi Charrisse), and 1 original that pops in and continues to make us wonder if she's... okay (Hi Katie). - Gizelle is gonna make me root for Candiace. Congrats Candiace. The Giz goes for everyone's marriage each season since she doesn't have one of her own. - I still think Mia and Wendy are dead weight. But I guess the alternative is not having enough castmembers, which brings me to.... SALT LAKE CITY: - They brought in the 3 friend-of's to cause thirsty drama (Hi Angie H) at the right time, because as we were finishing up the episode with only 4 women at the table in Aspen while Jen had already left, I was thinking "geez, they're kind of stretched thin here, and the story is already getting played out." I will concur a kooky sidekick like Mary was appreciated. At least we can wait and see how everyone reacts post-Jenn's guilty plea. - Whitney, I usually give her the benefit of the doubt, but she is doing too much and making a mountain out of a molehill with cousin Heather. Team Heather all the way. Although I appreciated last night's very real revelation that Whitney's hubby got fired from his job because of his cringe-worthy scenes on TV. I kinda feel bad for Dimples, but he should've put more thought into the repercussions of filming such an icky smut scene. BEVERLY HILLS: - What a mess. You know what, can't believe I'm gonna go against the grain here, but there is so much family history with those Richards sisters and Kathy is not 100% innocent. People elsewhere have pointed out how cold Kathy was to Kyle at the reunion, but I understand Kathy not wanting to air out more family laundry on television (not to mention, sitting across from the vultures), so when Kyle pressed for answers, Kathy did not respond. I get that. However, I feel there's more to the story with these three sisters. Yes, Kyle has been desperate for the limelight for years and tried to achieve that at the expense of her sister (See limo scene, Season 1), but I don't think anyone is 100% to blame in this rift that has been in place on and off for years. There's layers of hurt and betrayal amongst Kim, Kathy, and Kyle. - I'd love the return of people like Denise and Camille, for starters. One thing's for sure: The true Queen of RHOBH is Garcelle, with sidekick Sutton as princess. I love how they reign supreme in the fan world, much to the dismay of The Coven. - I am very interested in seeing how/if they retool this show next season, because the darkness that has prevailed is greater than any other year or any other franchise. To think Bravo retooled RHONY after Season 4 --- that was a walk in the park in comparison! NEW YORK - That reminds me. I'm not at all impressed with the new RHONY cast. I suppose I'll check it out once it premieres, but I have no excitement for it. @Cat I think it was you who posted the Ramona interview with Carlos King? Thank you! Very enlightening. I guess we can officially blame Ebony for how the reunion fell apart, filming of a new season with the prior cast still in place fell apart, and now we've got a crop of newbies while thirsty vets like Dorinda and Jill wait with baited breath for the news of LEGACY actually happening. I can understand Ramona enjoying her private life post-reality TV, but I selfishly hope she returns IF Legacy were to happen. Hey. It's Only My Opinion!
  7. Cecily's return made all the difference in this past weekend's show. She just makes me laugh.
  8. Meh, I don't mind the cheesiness. They load up these shows with so much filler and nonsense as it is. It's funny though how The Today Show has a nice history of doing some very well done costumes, but because so much of the footage either IS Matt Lauer or includes Matt Lauer, they don't ever show it in their flashback piece anymore.
  9. Brooke and Liam was bound to happen. I’m surprised it took this long. History repeating itself certainly shows how the aging of her kids are so out of whack. At this point, Bridget is older than Brooke.
  10. "Never Been Done Before" reeks of late 90's Guiding Light James Harmon Brown / Barbara Esensten era. I don't mind the threesome, but it seemed misplaced and out of character for Ali. The only person it felt organic to was newbie horndog Alex. I swear though, if they saddle one or both with a baby and then abort it, as some sort of liberal checklist to stir up the conservative crowd.... just no.
  11. Well, it must be said, so I'll say it: With DAYS now exclusively on Peacock, Salem's resident lesbian couple decided to put the cock in Peacock. Thank you, I'll be here all week.
  12. Happy birthday everyone! Oh I remember the early years of 2003-2004 when I used to get into arguments over that blasted Salem Serial Killer storyline. But like everyone else, I've mellowed. This is such a great lil online community that I have enjoyed for nearly two decades now (yikes!). From soap opera news, discussion, to the infamous Real Housewives thread, I'm so glad us lil soap nerds have a place to hang and discuss. Thank you @Toups @Errol and the whole team! Here's to another couple decades!
  13. Just as long as that wig doesn't make a comeback, lol BTW, I don't always see/hear everything when B&B is playing, but we didn't see Brooke make the call to CPS, right? If not, when's the reveal going to happen that it was Thomas doing a deepfake?
  14. I wonder what chompers is up to these days...
  15. With their taping schedule and actor usage scheduling so out of whack, they REALLY should've rested Chad for a few weeks before thrusting him into scenes with another woman right off the bat. Abigail's Ghost body isn't even cold yet. Side Note: Whenever the lawyer lady waltzes in, I feel like I'm watching the beginning scene of a hetero porn. Her acting skills are... weak.
  16. On a lighter note, I love that Jamie Lee Curtis is popping in! I just love her... Maybe they can all toast with Activia yogurt at the end.
  17. It's clear Carson Boatman doesn't skip out on doing squats and lunges at the gym...
  18. She's a show cheerleader, no matter what. I can't badmouth her for that. Kristian Alfonso was always the same, too. However, that said above, yeah, I agree with this. A ballsier Dee would be fun. Especially since the show would never oust her at this point.
  19. B&B's loss is GH's gain. Who doesn't love "Norma Arnold."
  20. It was lovely watching the Fox Force Four (they're dubbed Five, but Terri DeMarco was axed a long time ago) totally implode on itself, with Rinna and Erotika looking like sour fools, leaving only Kyle and Dorit as the last ladies standing of this clique (and I have no problem with that). Rinna's on social media with her usual cryptic ass saying, "I know exactly what I'm doing," but does she? I know we need the necessary evils of each group (think: Gizelle of Potomac; Tamra (welcome back!) of OC), but the show did just fine during the episodes where she wasn't featured much (when Rinna was on vacation mourning Lois). With previous castmembers itching to return, plus the strong team of Garcelle/Sutton/Kyle/Dorit/Crystal in place, I think we can do just fine without the resident cockatoo stinking up the screen. Put her "on pause" to take a year off to go on another vacation mourn Lois. Agreed. Those two idiots are messing with family. If Kyle can squash it with her sister, let. it. go.
  21. I love you Deidre, but this does nothing to entice viewers to tune in and see for themselves... lol
  22. Kristian Alfonso rarely strikes romantic chemistry with a costar who isn’t Peter Reckell, but she actually had good chemistry with Mark Valley’s Jack when Hope and Jack were briefly friends when both were on the outs with their respective partners. DAYS loves to reuse actors, MV could’ve been brought back as someone else if the actor was interested in returning. Side Note: I see on Laura Horton’s gravestone they knocked off a good 10 years. Born in 1950? So, 15 years old when the show premiered? That’s a birthdate more suited for Julie (despite being aged up, and then her son and grandson subsequently getting SORASed).
  23. LOL, my "eww" was for both reasons.
  24. Was sad to hear about that. We went to the same highschool and only a couple years apart. I was shocked when I didn't see Cecily Strong in this past week's opening credits premiere, but learned she'll be back in a few weeks. Phew!
