Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Count me in as an OG NYC fan. The OG cast is my all-time favorite and Season 3 will remain my all-time favorite season of any franchise. It's sad the Legacy idea is fizzling away, because there is still an appetite for the originals. Look at how excited & curious longtime Housewives fans are to finally see Alex McCord again. Plus, so many have wanted a full-time return of Jill. Plus, the curiosity over whether Dorinda can pull herself back together, and there's always good old tried and true LuAnn and Sonjarita. Seeing RHONY: Legacy fall apart really solidifies the idea that Housewives are modern day soap operas and we the audience like to see our longtime favorites come and go and return and... stay.

I liked the Lifesavers theme too. I kinda liked the visuals and definitely liked the music. Very majestic. 2003-2005 opening. Oy. Just awful. I always referred to this one as the "Knots Loving" opening; a cheap version of Knots' scrolling images, along with a direct ripoff of L-O-V-I-N-G as part of the music. Its one saving grace was that the melancholy background music version of it used in scenes was nice.

I'm looking forward to New Jersey too. Ditto Orange County. Like, I'm really super curious about this next season of OC and it's normally not a Housewives show that I anticipate. Regarding the taglines, I thought they were mostly clunky and longwinded. And like you mentioned of Teresa's, the delivery of some of them are :::yawn::: I'll be just fine if they don't play the opening for the majority of the episodes as they seem to be doing nowadays. IMO, the best taglines spoken are Margaret and Jennifer. In other news: Potomac Reunion fashion: Ashley continues to impress... I loved those wicked women Cynthia Watros was of course outstanding and phenomenal, but man did I love Wendy Moniz's ability to make Dinah soft and vulnerable one minute (when she was still sorta good with Hart) to bitter and calculated another. They were both so delicious to watch, but I really appreciated the layers Moniz gave to Dinah as she vacillated between good and bad between 1995-1999.

Hahaha... they're still not up to the level of Grande Dame / Ashley / Monique in my eyes, but I can appreciate what they contribute to the show

Potomac: Ashley is messy but smart overall when it comes the the Housewives game. She and the Grande Dame always have each other's backs nowadays. Plus, she's friends with the GEB's. She's in good with all the Season 1 vets, even the bump on a log. I was surprised Ashley made it out scot free with taking Karen's accusations about Juan and telling Robyn right away. Instead of Robyn blurting out that she heard it from Ashley, Karen went ahead and dropped the bomb all on her own at the table, and it was glorious, lol. And Bravo's sketch drawing of the other woman.... LOL MESS! I can't believe Wendy's finally growing on me. Her reactions to other people's bombshells are priceless. Plus, I think getting potentially iced out of the show humbled her (and thank GOD she dropped that Zen Wen bullcrap). Candiace has also redeemed herself in my eyes. Mia continues to be a trash person living a fake life with no redeeming qualities. [Side Note: Mia is exactly like my old friend "Diana" who found herself in a cult, mentioned in an Off Topic thread a couple years back. They are like twins in their appearance and overall fakery]

Oh man, I cannot wait. That trip saved Season 4, which was otherwise kinda lacking in substance. That Jill reaction face is hilarious! Seems lots of people in the Twitterverse are most excited to see Alex again. I can't believe it's been nearly 12 years!

Love it! To coincide with the Erika/Rinna photo op. They keep teasing us... c'mon Garcelle and Sutton; work your magic and make it happen. As long as she has formidable allies against Kyle and her waning coven members, LVP should be in solid standing. Meanwhile... POTOMAC: Is it April Fool's Day?!? RHUGT: Speaking of other crazy news, there is now rumors that Bravo has reached out to various One Season Wonders to do a RHUGT full of one-season rejects.

I'll make sure to tell Ashley how y'all feel about her next month when I attend her drag brunch in Chicago 😆 I still like our lil spring chicken of Potomac, but that calm, cool read from Candiace was pitch perfect.

Makes me kinda miss Katie Rost and her dollar store witness protection wig. I don't *think* we're at the point of no return for dark toxicity (see Beverly Hills; see Salt Lake City), but Potomac is teetering on the edge. They really need to retire this whole schtick of attacking each other's marriages. This season's ambush on Chris/Candaice is so forced and tired. At least go for those who really do have questionable relationships (i.e. Robyn/Juan; Ashley/Michael).

ARTICLE: Netflix Cancels Half-Hour Comedy ‘Uncoupled’ After Just One Season
I liked the concept of the series, but ultimately it was mostly predictable and the main characters were one-note. Hopefully someone else will come up with the similar concept -- dating for gays in their 40's once their twinky and/or circuit queen days are behind them, and they've had some serious relationships under their belt.

You can tell when a death is going to stick when they actually put some effort into their goodbye scenes. Case in point: We knew in 2004 that Alice Horton wasn't going to be permanently killed off by the Salem Serial Killer / Brain-controlled Marlena / Tony/Andre/3rd party lookalike, but you knew it was a done deal in 2010, even if you didn't know the actress had passed away in real life.

Yep, that's exactly what RHOBH has been for years now with the same Coven in place. Even when Rinna describes what it's like to be a castmember, you would think she was on Survivor or... the Hunger Games.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Bottom line: I think Bravo jumped the gun by trying to be woke or proactive to complaints or whatever you want to call it. They could have and should have waited for the dust to settle. Clearly, there were a lot of factors that made the last season of NYC so terrible. It was foolish of Bravo to make a big, grand sweeping announcement of two NYC shows coming around the bend (STILL waiting for LEGACY to be confirmed). I agree with @Cat that keeping with the originals helps fill a demo of hot menopausal mamas, all of which are now single and skanking it up in the city. I personally would choose a Sex And the City meets Golden Girls cast versus a bunch of young chicks born in the 90's who strive to be influencers. But that's just the 80's baby in me who's not impressed by Instagram "celebrities." - Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
