  1. Roark would have only interacted with Jack as played by Mark Valley and Steve Wilder (eww). Ashford wasn't even around in 2010 for Alice's funeral.
  2. So, tonight is the season finale of RHOBH. Unless I didn't hear it last week, I don't recall this being mentioned. First Atlanta, now this. What's up with the shoddy promo department?
  3. Gosh, catching up on last week, I was so hoping we would finally be rid of one villain once and for all, with Clyde being shot. No such luck. Side Note: I've been noticing some near-extreme close-up shots of people lately, and I gotta say, it's a welcome throwback to soaps of yesteryear with the dramatic closeups where their faces are the entire frame of the shot (Especially since they don't exactly have lush, beautiful sets to fill the background).
  4. I like 'em. And they had so much time to spare with only 5 cast members. Side note: I love a story about leaving any faith. So I like that this continues to be a through line for Heather and now Whitney.
  5. I was so ready for it last night and then realized we had another week to go, grrrrr. @Cat I agree Salt Lake City was a nice, easy-breezy premiere. I guess they're going the route of "pretend they were never here" when it comes to Mary and Jennie (Jennie especially, as I'm sure Mary will be mentioned at some point). I'm interested in seeing where the rift takes place between Bad Weather Whitney & Heather. Lisa's apology tour will be funny. Thank goodness she was mic'ed during that rant...
  6. It seems DAYS always cuts a lot of extra scenes anyhow to make its runtime. Perhaps going forward, the Peacock episodes will include everything and the syndicated episodes elsewhere will have its usual cuts for time. Meanwhile, will we finally get to hear Marlena drop the F--- bomb or some other choice words to her enemies? That'd be nice
  7. RHOA: While this season turned out to be pretty good, the reunion itself was kinda ho-hum. Enjoyable, but nothing bombastic. Surprisingly, I forgot Kenya was on the couch half the time, though we got a lot of action from Kandi, seated furthest from Andy. Meanwhile, I'm glad Todd just lets Marlo's mess roll off his back; he doesn't take her lies seriously which means we the audience don't need to, either. Therefore, when she runs her mouth off next season, it'll pack next to no punch with the viewers.
  8. Yeah and they really should’ve just recast Alice Horton with someone younger instead of letting the character die just because the actress croaked.
  9. Bottom line: My thoughts on Rinna’s antics du jour:
  10. Agreed. It started season 7 (post-baby). I later read she actually contacted Don Knotts to get tips for the later seasons. Oy, indeed. No wonder Roseanne makes a Barney Fife reference in season 8.
  11. Nice John and Marlena love scene last week… but what happened to the devil bedroom set? They decide to boink in one of the guest rooms?
  12. Maybe her son Constantine Maroulis "caught COVID."
  13. With NBC shows always promoting each other, I'll be disappointed if their tentpoles like Today or NBC Nightly News don't say something about DAYS' move either on Friday or Monday.
  14. Beverly Hills reunion is filming tomorrow. It's going to be an absolute [!@#$%^&*] show and I can't wait. LOL
  15. The Coven were in full damage control mode. Kyle, Dorit, Rinna (plus their lil wannabe tagged along when they all shuffled out) were in a panic to get Erika to shut up because they knew once Pandora's dusty box opened up, Bravo producers would use the footage.
  16. Oh damn, that was more recent than I thought! Good for him... Thanks Jason!
  17. Hahaha... always thought the same. Lazy. Side note: I wonder when's the last time Ron Leath appeared as Henderson. @JAS0N47 ? lol
  18. Considering that Cady McClain seems to have forgotten the artform of acting, perhaps it's best that Jenn's storyline is mostly offscreen. Sorry, but I can't handle the dry crying anymore.
  19. So I'm catching up on the last couple weeks and here's my random observations: - New Stephanie's voice is very similar to Heather Lindell as Jan. If my blind father still listened in, he'd get confused. - Zombie Stefan O. DiMera dragging himself to the DiMansion only to be captured by Dr. Rolf was very reminiscent of the mid 90's Reilly era of close calls and fake-outs. I can't say I was mad at it; it was a nice flashback to DAYS of yesteryear. It kind of reminded me of when Kate slowly made her way back to Salem in Winter/Spring of 1996. - God bless Deidre Hall, but when Marlena and Kayla were having cutesy conversion while tied up, some of her snark reminded me of Hattie. Dare I say, Marlena never used to have a sense of humor? - Kate/Roman being pals with Abe/Paulina is nice. We need more friendships on this show; nurture these relationships and others. - Can we PLEASE stop dressing all the women in not-so-flattering dresses? (Sorry Nicole, but this is a memo specifically for you) This is small-town Salem USA. The Salem International airport got shut down years ago (I assume, since big flights go out of O'Hare now) and there's only one park in town for people to pass through. Cocktail dresses 24/7 are simply not necessary. I wanna see some damn hoodies! Dress for comfort! Autumn is coming. - Once produced-for-Peacock episodes begin airing next year, I fully expect Sonny to talk in on Alex in the Kiriakis living room wearing nothing but a jockstrap.
  20. Dear GOD the rumors are true about Charriisse's slithery ass back up in Potomac. But you know what? I'll take it because there's history and she's only there as a friend of capacity to cause trouble, much like a Kim D on New Jersey. Can't wait! I'll give Candaice one more try to get back on my good side. If she can call a truce with my girl Ashley, then we're on the right path. Looks fun overall! I even gotta give Robyn credit for stepping up her game overall. I'll give Jessica Rabbit credit. But major points to post-baby x 2 for Ashley. The Grande Dame holding center, just as she she should be. Charriisse be looking stank as always. lol.
  21. Dear Lord… 😂 😂 😂 This woman forget the internet exists?
  22. Gosh that was an uncomfortable episode. Erika calling Sutton a c*** and Lickity Lips cosigning and cackling about it while the rest keep mum. If the roles were reversed and Sutton or Garcelle were out there calling one of The Coven a c***, there'd be fake shocked faced and crocodile tears galore! Meanwhile, Kyle has gotten SO lazy at her chess-playing moves and pot-stirring. She doesn't even try to be covert about it anymore. Yet, it's all giggles and laughs if someone calls her out on it. Ugh, these woman... With everything that has been happening off-camera in the past couple weeks, this reunion is going to be ugly; uglier than the gang-up on Denise. This will make the Season 4 reunion of RHONY look like an airy Sunday walk in the park.
  23. Ha, so Angie wormed her way into an official "Friend of" role. Well good for her. Otherwise, I don't mind the 5 castmembers as long as the supporting friends of are active. We've seen successful seasons in the past of such shows like BH, ATL, and NJ having a strong ensemble of supporting players that weren't official 'wives. Side note: This was supposed to be the original cast until the last-minute upgrade of Mary. Man, these women hate each other, LOL. I'm excited to see what happens because they've burned through about five seasons worth of animosity and changing alliances in just two years!
  24. I’m two weeks behind on episodes but I’m gonna go against the grain here and say Alex is certainly a realistic character in terms of having one night hookups and making no apologies for it. Granted, he’ll eventually fall for someone and be a neutered lovesick one-woman-man as all sexually active soap characters become, but in the meantime, it’s funny to see people so uptight about casual sex (good grief Sonny, you’re gay and allegedly had prior experience other than just Paul; lighten up). At least Maggie is up to speed on labeling people’s sexual orientations.
