B&B March 2022 Discussion Thread
We soap viewers suspend disbelief and chaotic confusion all the time. So it's a pity they can't use the first 25 years of Brooke & Ridge's history in flashbacks just because a different actor was playing the role. [And for the flashback episode, I'm sure Ronn Moss could use the extra pocket change to buy some more MAGA merch]

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
You're not alone. Before there was ever Leah (or Eboni), Kelly was always my least favorite NYC housewife ever. (I don't count Jules; one season wonder).

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well, well, well... we knew the day would eventually come. RHONY was in such a precarious state. I actually thought they were in danger after Season 6, but the show really dug itself into a hole with so much of the cast from the stellar Season 7-11 era falling off. I'm interested in seeing what *new* RHONY they are able to come up with. I see them being younger too. However, I hope they don't go too young across the board. You can have a cast of Housewives that range in age from 35 to 55, but I gather their new crop will barely hit 45. I'm glad they're taking it seriously and putting thought into it. After seeing their success with SLC, it's apparent a brand new fresh batch of women will still interest and titillate the longtime Housewives audience. Plus, we get a special Housewives: NYC OG spinoff, which I love. How funny that these shows have been on so long, there's nostalgia for the early days. They truly are like modern day soap operas. I think Andy *wants* Ramona there, but also knows how polarizing she has become. Still, I feel like you can't do this without her there. She is literally the only one that was there from start to finish without ever getting briefly demoted. The history with LuAnn, Sonja, plus the delicious frenemy history with Jill and Dorinda and, well, everyone else aside from the newbies (Leah/Eboni) is too juicy to pass up. I haven't finished the episode yet, but on WWHL, when Andy/LuAnn discussed who she'd like to see brought back, she mentioned Kelly, Jill, and.... Aviva!

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
Good grief, you learn something new every day. Now I wanna see all of the early 90's just to fill in the many obvious blanks (I didn't begin until 1995). I randomly saw an episode from 1994 on YouTube a few weeks back and was surprised to see Jocelyn Seagrave on the show, flirting it up with John Black. Did she only last a hot minute?

So, like, ya think Carlivati nuts to this stuff while watching the live feed as it's being filmed or does he wait 6 months for airdate? You know, to build up a sizable amount of... anticipation.

Lucky for Krista Allen, she ditched DAYS for a role on Baywatch opposite "Peter Blake" (Jason Brooks). Talk about an upgrade.

Days of Our Lives: March 2022 Discussion Thread
Since we're talking about the past (which is hopefully still allowed now that it's a weekday), I have to ask: What was the storyline with Bo when RKK took over? Was there a Faux Bo doppelganger situation? Also, before Billie got into Bo's orbit post-Carly, what was Billie's storyline? Always curious about '92... LOL Bless her heart. Shyt, I'm curious about this swag bag she's shelling out to her fans. I better sign up!

Right?! What WAS that about, lol. Here I am watching Season 1 of Dynasty thinking, "damn, Wayne Northrop's a snack!" which I never, ever thought before. It must've been his cocky confidence paired up against the wonderful Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon. But anyhoo, a +1 to seeing what a WN Roman & LR Billie could've been. Josh Taylor is just a 25 year placeholder. And a barf emoji to memories of his Roman and KA Billie having a romp, as well as Nicole.

I have this wonderful gem on a VHS tape somewhere in storage from when Lifetime reaired it. It's right up there right next to Meredith Baxter playing Betty Broderick in the upper echelon of made-for-TV movies. lol

Well she better be, considering the younger sister she famously babynapped as a teenager now has her own daughter in her early 20's. Yikes.

DOOL: Spoilers for week of 21th. March
Such casual talk about someone morphing into another person. This show has morphed into a low-grade soft porn without the benefits of bare tits and ass.

Agreed 100%. But a LOL at Reilly thinking they could push that well into the 2000's with a 2005 pregnancy. Lawd...

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's a definite throwback to the more laid back days of Housewives' early seasons. But still, I don't mind it. No feathers! No objects getting in the way of people's faces! Yay Sure, I expected a lil more from Heather. But Shannon usually comes to these reunions with a look like this, and everyone else is the B team so they dressed accordingly 😆

I didn't check the ages of the other actors at the time, but Deidre Hall was only 32 in 1980. I wouldn't have put her out to pasture yet either. They really did SSH no favors by aging up her son and then aging up her grandson. Her grandson should've been her son's age! Meanwhile, John Clarke did not age well; he looked older than he was. I'd sooner guess he was Alice's brother by the mid 70's.

ALL: Favorite Soap Special Episodes, Standalones, and Stunts
I keeping hoping for the day DAYS does a spectacular flashback episode(s) in honor of a major anniversary. They did so in 1986 (for their 21st) and 1990 (25th). They also did one in 2000 for their 35th, but only featured current castmembers. In the '86 and '90 shows (1990 was actually 3 episodes), they showcased actors and characters no longer on the show, and in some cases even featured characters that were now being played by different actors! Hoping for something like that for their 60th. Otherwise, I liked their 3 primetime specials in '92, '93, and '94. Oh, and those standalone Rafe and Aiden episodes in 2016 were awesome! (J/K. Total fast-forward material. Hope's standalone was decent though).

Agreed. I'm for Daylight Savings year-round. I wouldn't mind the sun coming out late in the morning during the dead of wintertime, and I'd much prefer coming home from work while there's still a bit of daylight left.

There was even a scene where a doctor friend of Vanessa's comes up to her at Towers and hints at the idea of getting a facelift. Very cringe.
