  1. Such casual talk about someone morphing into another person. This show has morphed into a low-grade soft porn without the benefits of bare tits and ass.
  2. Agreed 100%. But a LOL at Reilly thinking they could push that well into the 2000's with a 2005 pregnancy. Lawd...
  3. It's a definite throwback to the more laid back days of Housewives' early seasons. But still, I don't mind it. No feathers! No objects getting in the way of people's faces! Yay Sure, I expected a lil more from Heather. But Shannon usually comes to these reunions with a look like this, and everyone else is the B team so they dressed accordingly 😆
  4. I didn't check the ages of the other actors at the time, but Deidre Hall was only 32 in 1980. I wouldn't have put her out to pasture yet either. They really did SSH no favors by aging up her son and then aging up her grandson. Her grandson should've been her son's age! Meanwhile, John Clarke did not age well; he looked older than he was. I'd sooner guess he was Alice's brother by the mid 70's.
  5. Next season's storyline! "Never count out The Countess..."
  6. Regardless of quality or lack thereof, I think we're stuck with this guy until the final grain of sand finally falls through the hourglass...
  7. I keeping hoping for the day DAYS does a spectacular flashback episode(s) in honor of a major anniversary. They did so in 1986 (for their 21st) and 1990 (25th). They also did one in 2000 for their 35th, but only featured current castmembers. In the '86 and '90 shows (1990 was actually 3 episodes), they showcased actors and characters no longer on the show, and in some cases even featured characters that were now being played by different actors! Hoping for something like that for their 60th. Otherwise, I liked their 3 primetime specials in '92, '93, and '94. Oh, and those standalone Rafe and Aiden episodes in 2016 were awesome! (J/K. Total fast-forward material. Hope's standalone was decent though).
  8. Agreed. I'm for Daylight Savings year-round. I wouldn't mind the sun coming out late in the morning during the dead of wintertime, and I'd much prefer coming home from work while there's still a bit of daylight left.
  9. Yeah, I think SSH is a teamplayer no matter the material nowadays. She learned from her 1984 blunder...
  10. There was even a scene where a doctor friend of Vanessa's comes up to her at Towers and hints at the idea of getting a facelift. Very cringe.
  11. Beth Raines had plenty to say too, during the brief Vanessa/Matt/Beth triangle...
  12. Kinda similar to people mentioning Vanessa's age and aging looks and the age difference between Matt & Vanessa on GL during the late 90's Paul Rauch era...
  13. So stupid. Sarah does not have Renee's memories; she does not have Renee's eyeballs. It's literally hearsay. It's like me reading "Anne of Green Gables" and suddenly thinking I'm Anne Shirley living with Marilla and Matthew at Green Gables. Marilla could look like Sharon Stone or Sharon Gless. How would I know the difference?
  14. Yeah, we know Y&R likes to poach back the ones they released once they strike a cord on another show (See: Greg Rikaart)
  15. If you can't take the heat, get out of the driver's seat. What a petulant child.
  16. Very colorful, for sure. For the most part, not over-the-top as we've seen from other franchises, but after seeing Jen Shah and Meredith on SLC, I'm down for something more subtle. I'll give Gina props for not doing the standard dress route and changing it up. I like her hair finally. Jen is pretty. Heather looks fine. Looks like Shannon finally lost some weight in her face or the contouring gods did wonders. Emily should not have worn something that makes her shoulders look bigger, that's all I'll say on that part. I'm two episodes behind on this show. Been beaching it in Puerto Vallarta all week. Time to play TV catch-up!
  17. That's who I came here to say. Never thought that bland waitress at Salem Place would blossom into a fabulous leading lady.
  18. Say what you will about wishy-washy Liam on B&B, but Scott Clifton’s been hitting the gym hard!
  19. Side Methinks the lady doth protest too much. You know you wanna hit it. lol [Side Note: Saying "lady" is because of the Shakespeare phrase, and not a personal gender reference to anyone.] But in all seriousness, I don't get why some of y'all are so hard on Alan Locher (well, actually, I have my theories). He's doing something for the daytime community that no one else has bothered to do.
  20. So looks like Lisa's mad at Bravo for including that hot mic moment. Welcome to modern-day Housewives; the 4th wall has been torn down!
  21. Though it happens off-camera, you could hear slaps, punches and cries in the Season 3 finale of Melrose Place, when Jo's abusive boyfriend Jesse (Jake's brother) beats the living daylights out of her and leaves her clinging to life on the bathroom floor. It always sends chills up my spine.
  22. Ooh I like that idea. On DAYS, Cynthia Watros as Kristen DiMera (during these more recent years with Eileen not available/interested)
  23. RE: Candiace: On one hand, I wouldn't mind seeing her punished by getting fired from Potomac. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing her punished by getting ganged up by the entire cast for one last season of her comeuppance.
  24. Before I get into OC, I have to laugh at Dr. Jen and the usually shirtless hubby with his toy chihuahua always in his arms because that is SO me, lol. As we watched the early episodes of this season, my hubby pointed out that I do that ALL the time with my darling lil Coco (see avatar photo). Any discussion, good or bad, Coco's in my arms (well arm actually, cuz she's so tiny). But I digress... I think we're up to episode 9 now of OC? And I can honestly say, this is still a rebuilding year, with the cast seemingly on their own islands. Half-way through the episode, I thought: they really need Tamra back. SOMEONE that helps connects the old (Shannon, Heather) with the newish (Gina, Emily), and help stir things up with the brand newbies (Noella, Jen). Because this crop of women still feels very disjointed. Honestly, sometimes I don't know where Shannon fits in anymore. Gina & Emily, the two we all were lukewarm about during their early years, are the two ships that help navigate the story and tie everyone together. It seems like a chore for Heather to hang with anyone, and really it is; it's a job. It shouldn't feel that way to us viewers though. Noella is just too much too soon. She has beef with half the cast and turns on the ones who are in her corner. Shannon is the one she hasn't targeted yet. Noella's on track to ice herself out of the group before the end of her first year. She's messy and too much, which means she'll cool off in her second year, similar to Jennifer over on New Jersey.... if she's back another year. Jen is nice, and I wouldn't put her in the Terri DeMarco desperation category, but she isn't really popping. So I dunno. It all feels very disjointed and inorganic, even in Housewives' world.
