Well-produced at-home production. A bit lengthy for something that was just teaser. Now give us the tea already!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
ATL: I thought exact same thing and came here to post the same, regarding Drew vs. LaToya as being shades of Kenya vs. Porsha Season 5: The two newbies having beef with one another while the veterans watch. This one falls flat though because they *both* look thirsty for the spotlight. I am okay with Drew overall, but she certainly isn't a breakout star as Kenya & Porsha became. I could see her lasting another season and then fade way into oblivion a la Eva. It's clear the producers are looking for the next "IT" girl and neither Drew nor LaToya fit the bill. Just my opinion. Keep your vets around (or bring 1-2 back) until you strike gold again... Was it just my imagination or was Marc's face blurred in the latest snippet of him? Beverly Hills: I echo what others say... we need to see a comeuppance of at least one of the coven members and Erottingcunt (ooh, did I go too far?) is ripe for the picking. I'm glad to see Dorit going against the grain again and calling out Erika & Tom's nefarious shenanigans. Elsewhere, I love seeing Sutton upgraded, and I predict she *won't* have a bad season; it's good to hear they upgraded her because she's so much in the thick of things.... love seeing Garcelle back... love seeing Kathy Hilton's presence; another sister casting a shadow over perpetually second-placed Kyle.... interesting how we didn't see too much of Rinna. Hmm, damage control?

Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the original Claire in general, she could definitely pull off the psycho tendencies; NuClaire certainly cannot.

I am pleasantly surprised to see how well New Jersey is bringing it this season, and Melissa is actually a big part of it, for once. Joey and Melissa's fight was very true to life and on the nose, as one of our good couple friends is literally having this same argument currently (the husband was the provider for many years while she stayed home with the kids; now the roles are reversed: he retired from the service and her career is starting to take off; the hubby can't handle her success and his newfound role as Mr. Mom). It was interesting for Joey to mention a couple times how "the first 15 years of marriage has been great, but the last year not so much." Geesh, men and their egos. Let your woman shine and f--k your pride with wanting to be the sole breadwinner. Otherwise, love the continuous fun banter between the wives and the [ex]hubbies. Dolores and Frank need to just be together and have an open marriage and let it be. They seem to be the type of couple where that would work. Jennifer instigated the fight last week re: Jen vs. Marge so it was tit for tat that Marge started something this time around.

Primetime shows that were cancelled too soon
UnReal really took a nosedive in the 3rd season and the 4th was awful. There's something that happens to one of the male contestants that I won't mention, but the fact it wasn't taken more seriously made the remaining episodes gross to me, and I was glad to see it end. The first season was AMAZING. The second was okay. Add to the list: Almost Home, which was a revamped version of The Torkildsens. The original show was in Oklahoma or Arkansas or somewhere like that, where the single mother had 5 children, all with hyphenated names (Dorothy-Jane, Chucky-Lee, etc.). In Almost Home, suddenly two of the 5 no longer existed, and they moved to Seattle so she could be the housekeeper of a rich man (Perry King) and his two kids (Jason Marsden and the late Brittany Murphy). It only lasted half a season in 1993.

Yeah, those Zolciak sex doll clones are so off-putting. Does the older one still get a build-up of saliva on the sides of her mouth when she speaks? +1 on Brooks Marks not deserving to be there. You know Andy just wants to bang him. That's his target age... Re: ATL I sure hope they finally put this Bolo drama to rest. To me, it was bordering on pantygate redundancy. I'm glad Kandi pointed out it shouldn't matter regardless of what did or didn't happen. It's NOT YOUR BUSINESS KENYA! Re: NJ That was a wild and crazy episode. Who'd o' thunk the episode would end with Teresa taking Instagrammable photos of Evan & Jackie on the boat. Will wonders never cease? Meanwhile, Jennifer was a messy instigator at the table. I'm still Team Margaret in the Jen vs. Marge debate. I hear Real Housewives of Beverly Hills promo is about to be released today....?!

Keep it up Kenya. This'll guarantee Drew a second season. :::shrug:::

I still enjoy Marge. Sue me. LOL. I don't blame her husband for denying saying anything and liked that the other husbands kept mum. They wanna stay out of the women fighting; other House-husbands should take note. Meanwhile, even though this Teresa/Jackie feud was exacerbated this season by Teresa, Jackie is the one that needs it to survive on this show, and it's.... draining. I'm going to call it early and say this will be her last season because this is her final leg to stand on. Other than that, fun episode. @Taoboi ITA on the Mean Girls analogy, and preferring the Teresa/Dolores/Jennifer car ride. And wow, those vibrators looked like bowling pins!

LOL Thaao Penghlis lets the cat out of the bag again! He also did an overseas interview back in early 2004 and revealed Marlena was the serial killer. Whoops!

If Pine Valley is picked up and a sucess. Is their any soap you would bring back. And how would you do it?
Indeed! Just like a friend of mine who held off on ever watching The Handmaid's Tale until she knew whether 45 would be re-elected... now she can do so without the fear of it becoming a reality.

With political dramas so prevalent in the last 10-15 years, they could adapt the premise of the short-lived CAPITOL, not that there is a demand for it. 😆

What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
I started watching The Crown about two weeks ago. Currently a couple episodes into season two. Admittedly I’m just working my way to get to Olivia Colman as the lead. Though I recently heard from a friend that season 3 is pointless and I should skip to season 4 with the intro of Diana.

Oh, this looks WONDERFUL! I love that we get a good dose of Heather back into the mix. It sounds like she won't be back ever again, but we can enjoy her while it lasts. Eboni looks to be a good fit for the Sex And the NYCity vets. Can't wait! NYC never disappoints.

LOL love it. My grade school growing up was called Bethany, so it's always a trip to see a different spelling.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm the opposite. I describe LaToya as pathetic and desperate. Her antics in Fallon's (I'm sticking with the spelling of the name from Dynasty) driveway were pathetic. I'm just not a fan. If you're gonna turn up for the camera, at least TRY to make it appear organic, and not some wannabe try-hard thirsting for a peach. Fallon's party was SO bad. LOL. COVID-19 parties suck. After spending THREE days putting up her haunted walkway, after 10 seconds of it, you find yourself in an empty kitchen with barely any drinks or snacks? I'm sure Kandi was pissed there was nothing good to munch on (not a sex innuendo here, I mean actual food, heehee). However, Fallon's costume and makeup were amazing. All that for a one-hour party and a crazy mental blowup at the end. Did some producer whisper in her ear to go batshit crazy? The whole night was weird. JMO

Days: 3/22/2021 Weekly Preview
Good grief, THAT'S what they're using to try and pass off St. Luke's Church? I guess since it's not a Ben/Ciara wedding, they figured it's not worth it... Meanwhile, no dialogue mention of Nicole updating her apartment to that ugly yellow wallpaper?

Ooh girl, I thought the same exact thing, comparing Jackie to Aviva. Other than flashbacks, Jackie wasn't even featured last night. She's milking this feud for all it's worth. I feel it's all coaxed to give Teresa an adversary. But whatevs, NJ is enjoyable over all. Jennifer reminds me of one of my best friends when she's... overserved. I laughed watching her hubby and the husbands carry her to safety. Hope she didn't upchuck in the car on the ride home! Margaret's face continues to perplex me.

Days: March 2021 Discussion Thread
Oh Lawwwd! I *hate* that! And add to that, they've changed up a longtime set that's been around for decades, as opposed to someone's lil studio apartment or hospital office. It does look nice of course, but a little dialogue saying they renovated or are on a different wing of the "mansion" would go a long way. And did they dumpster dive furniture from the Kiriakis mansion?

Which soap won't survive by 2025?
Does the Jerry Springer show still exist? Maury's still on, right? Where I live, a lot of the syndicated talk shows and court shows air on off-network local channels so I never see any.

+1. Latoya doesn't work for me. She's too much of a tryhard and it's always written on her face. Since there will ultimately be a comparison made, I'm not a super fan of Drew but she's a better fit as a housewife for sure. Latoya reminds me of Kim G of S2 New Jersey. Playing both sides and ending up burning both ends. One & done.
