  1. Wow, this is very encouraging to hear. I don't expect too much in terms of the quality (I'm guessing it'll be on par with the Chabby-in-Paris / Last Blast reunion, with more generous usage of sets), but it shows NBC and Corday are thinking long-range for the future of this show and its survival. And a very smart move to bring in Lisa Rinna, who's now better known for Real Housewives than DAYS.
  2. +1. The whole Eric/Ridge to Carter vibe was off-putting. Like a "yes masta, I promise to be good to you." Ick. Extremely tone-deaf.
  3. +1.... and Hence, the reason why RHONY is currently tanking. I mean hell, even Ramona and one-season-wonder Cindy Barshop had a real-life connection before Cindy joined.
  4. What I find funny is that she's spending all this time lying around in bed while a camera crew is there watching her. As tired and unmotivated as I may feel, if there are a bunch of people in my room (or in my house for that matter), that'll automatically snap me awake. But after 6 years I guess she's used to it? Love the mid-season trailer! Yes, Beverly Hills is better than it's been in years. This time, we cannot say the women are ganging up on one person, because Erotika and Tom literally brought this upon themselves. As we've seen in years past on shows like RHONY, Potomac, and New Jersey, the real-life drama is way more compelling than manufactured bickering.
  5. If nothing else, we can appreciate Luann's tone-deafness for inadvertently leading to NBC canning Megyn Kelly.
  6. Damn. This show's in trouble..
  7. Aw, fun! I'll be watching. I didn't even know they were rebooting this.
  8. I think of Potomac's Robyn as ATL's Cynthia. A constant supporting player that's needed to round out the cast. Although she's a gremlin, Gizelle softens in scenes with her bestie Robyn. The big difference, of course, between Cynthia and Robyn is that Cynthia has had her fairytale wedding happy ending (twice, technically!) while Robyn is still stringing hers along. But I'm down for exploring depression, especially for women of color.
  9. @DaytimeFan @Taoboi Oh for sure, I thought the same thing about that non-waterproof mascara. What a perfect picture of a woman down on her luck, utterly devastated by her duplicitous husband as she struggles to stay afloat amidst and messy divorce. Great performance, but: Rinna being her goofy self-deprecating Rinna self, alongside her bumbling hubby Harrry Hamlin, is what is endearing about her. It makes her fun and relatable again. Agreed with you guys and others saying it's Season Five throwback; the reason we fell in love with her in the first place. Keep this version.
  10. Yes to all. Re: Bershan's behavior. It felt very producer-coaxed. "You gotta get in there and mix it up!" Her remarks were getting a little too rude (and coincidentally, the reactions were also over-the-top, i.e. Luann's "then you should just leave."), and it was funny how no one had her back, not even Ramona who felt compelled to stick by her side because she brought her into the group (quote, un quote). Leah turning Eboni's grandmother's death into a moment of whiny crying was cringe. Shoot, I'd welcome Aviva or Crazy Kelly back at this point, too. Even Cindy Barshop and all her teeth would be better. Lordy, how desperate we've become to jolt some life into RHONY. Still holding out for a Jill Zarin full-time return. What sucks about this current cast is that it doesn't feel organic at. all. And that was always NYC's strongest selling point (other than the Season 5 reboot, and the awkward Season 6 that followed). NYC never felt like a bunch of random women cast to be on the same show and forced to hang out with one another. But now? Totally. And it's not gelling. YAY to Potomac's premiere live ratings! Well-deserved.
  11. I particularly enjoyed their strategic camera angles to prevent it from being too obvious that they're in the CBS parking lot. LOL
  12. Trust. As I said back then, I'll say it again: We get Karen Huger's schtick. We are along for the ride with her. We know it's not delusion; it's just an illusion. A fun ride for the cameras. Excellent rundown. +1 Agreed. Love her or hate her, she's what makes RHONY what it is, and it's been chugging along for 13 solid years. With things so uncertain regarding this current cast, I would sooner bet the network put this gossip out there on purpose to gauge viewer reaction. Leah is tanking fast and hard while Eboni hasn't landed well overall. Honestly, the only safe bet these days is Sonja Tremont Morgan, bless her heart.
  13. Just in: Vanessa Marcil in as Taylor! Just in: Ingo Rademacher returns as Thorne!
  14. Wendy went the Jennifuh from Jersey route and got a whole new body for her second season. LOL at her only admitting to the tittie job though. New girl Mia, while not a mathematic genius, had a decent debut. Sadly, she's one of those women who've had too much work done to the point that she looks like she's 15 years older trying to look 15 years younger. And she's only 36! (That was her final answer on her age, right? lol) I'm glad the Grande Dame has an instant ally though, as she'll need it (at least while preggo Ashley is busy in labor). It was a great debut! It felt a little off without Monique, and a little too much Wendy. Sorry, I'm just not feeling her. She gives me low-budget Omarosa vibes. However, if she aligns herself with Karen and sees the light about Gizelle, there's good promise. +1 on liking Gizelle/Robyn looking around the table looking at the place cards. I can appreciate their genuine, fun friendship together. Candaice. Ugh. That's all.
  15. I'm a fan of Bryan Dattilo, but yeah, that hairdo needs to go. His facial structure has changed through the years (wider jawline now) and aside from it being outdated, it does him no favors.
  16. Attending MAGA rallies alongside Winsor Harmon, Antonio Sabato Jr, and Ingo Rademacher perhaps?
  17. Lord... folks... just when you thought she was out of the water. Now we learn she's part of an MLM Pyramid cult scheme. I can even tell you which one: [redacted]. Look up the reviews. I'm amazed people can be so dumb, naïve, and vulnerable to fall for such garbage. It's cultish and similar to the idea of Scientology. She's trying to get our good friend to join now (so that she can make it through to the "third tier."). That's it. We're done with her. It's a lost cause. On second thought, I'm not going to list the name because I don't want those crazies to find this thread down the line during a random google search. That's how nuts these people can be.
  18. I haven't watched last night's episode of RHONY yet, but when you take this, and add the Ramona/LuAnn/Sonja conversation where Sonja says of Eboni that this is "her platform," plus you had Ramona's lil side comment a few weeks back about being scared to get the wrath of Eboni... it's so awkwardly clear Eboni is here strictly due to the color of her skin and how she can provide the Upper East Side ladies some "teachable moments" that will hopefully resonate with viewers. It's all so awkward, obvious, and cringeworthy. They've taken my favorite franchise and made it a chore to watch.
  19. Oh my... Mario's DILF days are behind him...
  20. I started watching RHONY towards the end of their 4th season, and I could've sworn it was on Tuesdays that year (2011). I agree with those who have said Dorinda needed a season off to get her stuff together. She admitted the same. It sounded like a mutual split, with the invitation to return in a year. It's just too bad the timing was off since we had just unexpectedly lost Bethenny, then Tinsley mid-year. RHONY is in a tough spot with only 3 vets (the same trio who survived the purge of Season 5), 1 sophomore who is quickly crashing and burning out of favor with viewers, and 1 newbie who is here to tick a box that says, "look we're diverse now!" and then proceeds to take us to school every. single. episode. A big F***YOU to Leah for running Heather off. And her WWHL explanation on going on the trip solidified what we all thought: she thought it was more important to be present for filming a reality show than to be with her grandmother on her literal last days on earth.
  21. Right after Philip mentions his prosthetic leg...
  22. Glad to hear she'll be back.
  23. Yaass! I loved Karen's and Ashley's. Absolute perfection. (and +1 on retiring Kyle's "in Beverly Hills" "my town" blah blah basic boring shi*)
  24. +1 on Valerie (the fabulous Vanessa Williams) being Abe's best pairing since Lexie. Why they didn't keep her around is beyond me. I liked her friendship with Marlena and Kayla, too.
