  1. With NYC having to halt production (and postpone a trip) due to a castmember getting COVID, I wonder if they'll break the fourth wall about it, or gloss over it. I can see them admitting who had COVID, but hiding the fact that castmembers are irked by that person for postponing filming, and therefore prolonging their filming season, as they're at the finale point. With all the 4th wall breaks these days on Housewives, one thing they still like to keep under wraps for the most part is all the logistics put forth in filming/pre-planning, etc.
  2. Did I miss the discussion here about Brawnwyn announcing sheโ€™s not returning to OC next season or does no one care? ๐Ÿ˜‚
  3. I have to agree re: Kenya. The hateration has grown stale. We know what she has, we know what she doesn't have, we know what she wants... and her hating just reflects all her own insecurities. If she does it merely to stir the pot for television, well again, it's grown stale. Drew and her fineass husband are on another show. It actually felt weird having her call in to Cynthia (or was it Porsha?) to check in with them at Kandi's event. She feels like a completely random woman interspersed between scenes. Has she been to one event yet with all the cast? Cynthia's daughter Noel continues to WOW me every time she's on screen. Just a stunning beautiful girl. But please detach yourself from your phone every once in awhile unless you intend on needing glasses by age thirty. Porsha continues to give me the giggles from time to time. Other than that... Meh.
  4. I'm not feeling Mary's look but I like the rest overall. I didn't realize they already filmed the reunion! Anyone know the total episode count it'll be? Wednesday was episode 10. RHOSLC: Rolling my eyes at Jen not taking accountability for her own actions/reactions. Was Whitney wrong to bring up the gossip at Jen's hubby's party? Absolutely. Did anyone force Jen to go apeshit and start throwing glasses and having a meltdown? Nope, that's on you boo. I love seeing Heather's self journey towards being a strong, independent and happy woman. I foresee Heather eventually settling down with a black man. I don't know why. A black husband, gay best friends, and drinking on the weekends while twerking with her cousin. I think that would make her life blissful. I don't know if I buy the reconciliation of Meredith and Seth. I think the lovey-dovey stuff is a bit overkill, kind of like when OC's Shannon and David Beador were overly horned up on their vacation after their vow renewal. I could see the honeymoon phase dying quickly and them going back to their old problems. The meeting of successful women in the yurt tent was... funny. I love how they glammed up the yurt, and I'm all for female empowerment, but it also strikes me as cheesy, having these women patting themselves on the back like that. "Yay us!" Gag. Jen already breaking the 4th wall with that dirty tub splash. Anything for a Teresa Guidice table moment. Overall, another good episode! Whitney was messy to bring up the gossip at the party, but she's still more mature than Jen to be able to take ownership of her mistakes and apologize.
  5. Remember when the week between Christmas and New Years would bring out bombastic numbers for the 10, 11, 12 soaps on air? Sigh...
  6. Yeah, the real world events have definitely dampened the spirit of dishing about Housewives, but here goes.... NJ: Great promo! Looks juicy and messy with all the couples going through stuff. Yikes. Their cast photo is the epitome of Jersey: overly done up and spray tanned to the max. Although same could be said for Beverly Hills' overly done glam, just with lighter shades of spray tan goo. Who'd o' thought we'd have another 3 straight years of the same cast, the way we thought Caroline/Jacqueline/Teresa/Melissa/Kathy would never end? Yet, this current crop of women don't feel played out yet. Good. ATLANTA: Okay, I know I'm going to hell for saying this, but I finally realized who Riley reminds me of... Cleveland Jr. from Family Guy. It's something about the voice. I lower my head in shame though stifling a giggle. OC: That was such a ho-hum finale to wrap-up a ho-hum disappointing season. It felt like the finale party on the beach was filmed weeks after everything else. So Braunwyn officially came out. Yay. So Kelly was overly harsh on Braunwyn. Whatevs. So Shannon's friendship is all about ME-ME-ME to Gina the way she was ME-ME-ME to Tamra and used Vicki as a deflection as her marriage was falling apart. Bottom line: Shannon is a shiโ€  friend. I really don't think she creates any genuine friendships from this show; it's strictly for the cameras. Surprisingly, Gina and Emily came out this season the best. With the OG's gone, it felt kind of weird having Emily be the last castmember to get the write-up at the end. Ditto it felt weird hearing OC's iconic wrap-up music being used for this B Team. I dunno. It was a crappy season. They could've scrapped it altogether and I wouldn't have blinked an eye. Reunion will probably be everyone ganging up on Braunwyn. Whatevs....
  7. I wanted it cancelled when the rich family's daughter stabbed her professor in the back in broad daylight in the park and the dude STILL KEPT RUNNING!! WTF?! LOL... messy, messy...
  8. Add Ronn Moss and Winsor Harmon to that list. All the Hollywood has-beens trying to protect their dwindling residuals.
  9. People stole hard drives. Oh boy...
  10. I must say, I did love that one time when John had possession of the Salem Brain when he figured out "Nicole" was really Kristen in a mask. It almost made up for the era when Kristen pulled the wool over his eyes with the Susan/Kristen switcheroo of '97. All the Salem men were dumb during this timeframe, but John was particularly clueless. Yet, when he connected the dots re: Nicole-is-Kristen, I was legit impressed the superspy actually solved a mystery. I swear, you would've thought Claire and Charlie were siblings Marie and Tommy Horton. Ooh, the taboo! I mean shoot, why not? Utilize their assets, so to speak. Ben... Nicole... Rafe... Brady... so many characters wandering aimlessly as their onscreen partners are off the canvas for good or their partner is "dead" or in jail. Such aimlessness. Just rest them for a few months. They can pop in later, like Tony & Anna do, or like Belle and Shawn did. It's not like the actors are going to book work elsewhere. Still, DAYS has way more focus in storyline direction than the forth quadrant characters of B&B.
  11. No tears shed here. A terrorist QAnon whackjob who thought yesterday was "the storm?" Have fun burning in hell, mongrel. If she were white, the right would say she had it coming. Well Ashli, you had it comin' gurl.
  12. Ohhhhh LOL well then good for him/her!
  13. You are so right that Luann's real life drama helped even out the scales that were tipped WAY over on Bethenny's side. OMG Donn Gunvalson... he is so petty with his housewives trolling, but he's also damn funny.
  14. I swear, if they rewrite history and Laura Horton's dusty eggs gave birth to Gwen... nuh uh no.
  15. I must be in the minority about Brandon Barash. He always comes off as sleazy and greasy. I guess he's adequately portraying a dirty mechanic. I dunno. The thing about Billy Flynn (and this is the same thing I've noticed about Y&R's Joshua Morrow, but to a lesser degree) is that something about his acting showcases the fact that he, as an actor, knows his character is being manipulated and lied to. I just don't believe the words and the anger (not to mention the smirks and nearly breaking character and laughing, it seems) his character is spewing because we can see that he actually knows what's going on. It's hard to explain... do you get what I mean? Claire being heavily frontburnered reminds me of when GL recast Michelle Bauer with Joie Lenz (at least, that was her name at the time. It's changed like four times since). I get that they had story planned for the character, but considering she's a new face, they should've eased up on so much airtime.
  16. Agreed on both points. Perhaps it's best Samantha doesn't return.... would she STILL be an oversexed whore at 65 years of age? It would be too comical. Like when Betty White and Florence Henderson started playing off that hyper sexualized grandma persona.
  17. Of course I'll watch, but sometimes you can't go back home. Would Carrie STILL own her rent-controlled apartment on the side? Why? So Charlotte can have her "alone time" to read? Would we delve into real-world politics and out Charlotte as a Trump donor? (Or, like post-9/11, will they steer clear of topical issues?). Miranda is the mom to a college-aged kid now. Would he be gay? Non-binary? Surely they won't make him some hum-drum basic heterosexual. And Carrie... you still writing that column for a newspaper that no one reads anymore? Or is it strictly an online column/blog/YouTube video? Are you STILL going out every weekend to guzzle down cosmos or are you nestled on the couch watching 90 Day Fiance? I look forward to seeing what they come up with, Samantha or no Samantha.
  18. Yeah... Rinna's giving me Janice the Guitar Player Muppet vibes....
  19. LOL, just kidding! You can continue masturbating to Mike Manning photos with confidence
  20. I'm nearly all caught up on DAYS y'all! And again, this whole issue of characters stuck in romantic limbo is obnoxious. I'm sorry Greg Vaughan opted to leave the show, but unless they break up Nicole/Eric, Arianne Zuker can be rested. But of course, does anyone on DAYS ever really leave anymore? Clearly, they're waiting for Vaughan to return one day. Brady and Kristen's jail scenes are pure fast-forward material. Another couple in endless limbo. Rafe... why are you back? Sulking over Hope with Roman and Abe is not a story. ... until they find out Mike Manning is friends with Alan Locher (see the GL thread) and then they'll turn on him
  21. First of all, @DaytimeFan @Cat @Taoboi... LOVED your Best & Worst lists! How could I forget to mention the wonderful departure of Terri DeMarco? Oh, that's right. Because she's so BORING she's also FORGETTABLE! Sutton said it best. And a +1 to Rinna needing to be the next Housewife to get her comeuppance. Right after Gizelle needing a true takedown next season, but I digress... RHOC: Elizabeth's cult confession is eye opening. Who knows what kind of ramifications will happen within the OC group by spilling the tea to Braunwyn, but WOW. That's a mindfukkery of epic proportions. No wonder she's so guarded. +1 on liking Emily and her family's authentic journey dealing with COVID versus Shannon's "ME ME ME" meltdown. Seeing her children eyerolling her on the zoom call... I think it's a combo of being spoiled brats as well as having Shannon Beador as a mother. It can't be easy being her child. +1 on side-eyeing Braunwyn when she made her daughter's COVID concerns all about her. Braunwyn is a lot to handle these days as a viewer. Add to that, her recent social media confession that she'd be devastated to see soon-to-be ex-hubby Sean with another woman. But... aren't YOU with another woman already? I also like Gina's commentary. She's not trying to be top dog, and I like that. Her quips are similar to Carole's over on NYC.... Which by the way, it does not surprise me in the least to hear the real reason why Bethenny turned on Carole! There's always an angle with Bethenny as it has been since day one, cozying up to Jill Zarin in the early years until she could stand on her own. Her humanitarian efforts are amazing, but in the arena of fame and fortune, she's always clawing for more.
  22. Yeah... I never realized pregnancy stretches out your lips as much as your belly... but good for her and rockin' that preggo bod ๐Ÿ˜
  23. A rapist holding his murderous mother captive. Who am I rooting for?
  24. Totally agree. James Reynolds may have never been a leading man in the romance department, but he's a solid performer and could easily be the Carver patriarch if they had bothered to flesh out the family more and keep them on canvas (I've said it before, I'll say it again... Bring. Back. Jonah. Carver) And for effs sake, if Vanessa Williams is willing to stay on, KEEP VALERIE! She is gold. Side note: I loved that one ladies night with her, Marlena, Kate, and Kayla. More of THAT on soaps please. Ditto. LUMI endgame.
  25. Heather is full of so much win. I absolutely loved the fact that she already knew everything Jen had been saying about Meredith, but didn't spread gossip nor thought it was Jen's place to be going around speculating. That's a true friend; that's the real deal. Loved seeing Whitney with her father. So much history there with getting hurt and being disappointed in her father. It's no surprise that he's leaned on her financially for support time and time again. I'm glad she put her foot down about not supporting him this time. I enjoyed the house husband dynamic. Jen's hubby is actually pretty cool. I wasn't expecting that; I expected another Charrisse Jordan Jackson Jordan situation (I can't remember which last name goes first). I agree @Taoboi that the Meredith/Seth situation is the stuff of soap opera angst. Such an interesting dynamic. Ditto the dynamic with Lisa and her husband. Hubby & I find it funny and strange how they so openly admit their work comes first and their children come second. Add to that Lisa's comment that she'd like to incorporate her kids into her work in order to spend time with them. Her priorities regarding her children are a little out of whack IMO but then again I don't have kids and never will. 30 years from now, I'm sure she'll wish she had spent more time with her children and will smother her grandchildren instead. The snow ski jets looked fun. That's the only type of snow adventures I would do myself. I can't balance for [!@#$%^&*] and would die trying to ski. I can't even rollerblade LOL. Definitely the latter. I spy smirks from her bystanders. I couldn't keep a straight face with that clown either.
