    • Honestly, I pretty much agree with this. I do think the allegations against Kobe were bad. And I didn't forget them nor do I think he's perfect or anything. That being said, I really don't think drudging that up to try and bash him or the overshadow grief that people feel over the tragedy is the right thing to do right now. I was posting on the sports section of another site, and someone brought up a very lengthy post about that, trashing him and they talked more about that then they did about the tragedy yesterday. They made the tragedy of him, his young daughter and several other people dying, including another child, an afterthought to the allegations levied against him.   They barely mentioned the tragedy and the people that were affected by it in their rant against Kobe and I found that to be distasteful. And also inappropriate. Especially at this time. I do believe at some people more people will bring up the allegations as they talk about Kobe his life and legacy, which I do understand. I think there was an article yesterday after his death, where it was mentioned. That's something bad that happened and it makes sense that people will bring it up again at some point. But I think trying to harp on it now, to the point to where some people are making the tragedy that happened yesterday an afterthought, isn't right.    I also find it a bit inappropriate the way that some people including on that site and on places like Twitter are getting "mad" that the other people that were killed aren't being focused on as much. People definitely are upset about them dying too, it's just Kobe is someone that a lot of people knew AND all of the people involved in the crash haven't even been identified yet. It feels like some people just want to be mad about stuff and be "those people," that just has to say negative stuff/act a contradictory way in a tragic time. Even when it's not really the right time/inappropriate. The internet brings that type of behavior out in people.
    • 1. Sandy Harling (Amy Locane)   What to say about Sandy? The funny thing is, because I've watched this show spread out over 8 years, the early stuff is actually quite blurry in my mind already. One major thing I realized yesterday is that I have lived with a misconception for the duration of my MP journey. Back in 2012 when I started, I read about Locane's manslaughter charges, but I guess I didn't read it quite thoroughly (fear of spoilers I'm sure), because I always understood that those charges actually dated back to 1992 and that was the reason she was written off the show. I was always surprised that she got a bit of a send-off, considering those circumstances. Only now do I realize that the whole incident happened years after the show had ended and had nothing to do with her prompt departure. She was written off because TPTB decided she wasn't working, I assume? She definitely felt like the odd one out in early S1. Ironically, I feel (as others have said) that she could have worked better in the later version of the show, as I felt Locane's acting was always a bit over the top. I wonder if they ever considered re-introducing her in a later version of the show. Honestly, the only things I remember about Sandy are her on-again-off-again thing with Jake (and subsequent "rivalry", if you can call it that, with Kelly), some sort of story about a stalker guy, and that one time she was hired to be the scream queen on some horror flick. I wouldn't say I minded her much, but I also wasn't necessarily a fan.
    • That's what I was thinking too; that at some point Rolf switched Bonnie and Adrienne's memories
    • LINK to John Bolton NY Times story: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/26/us/politics/trump-bolton-book-ukraine.html?action=click&module=Top Stories&pgtype=Homepage Link: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/26/us/politics/john-bolton-trump-book-takeaways.html   Okay so NY Times had an advance of John Bolton's book and the information was stunning as expected. Now that we know WH had the transcript and have been sitting on it, it explains why they want to rush through the trial before this info came out. In the end I don't think anything will stop Trump, but I do think Pelosi was smart to delay everything the way she has. It's enabled these things to come out at the right time and had she sent the impeachment articles over in December we probably wouldn't have known any of this until after the Senate trial.    The media is of course going crazy saying that this is the smoking gun we need and that now Bolton HAS to testify. The thing is, the smoking guns are already there. I do agree this is explosive and 100% proves their case, but even if he testifies the republicans will NOT turn on Trump. The only positive is that the information is out there for voters that are smart, but you can't convince me republicans will suddenly have a change of heart and do the rigth thing.
