In place of an original episode of “Beyond the Gates” on Monday, January 19, which also marks the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, CBS will broadcast the daytime special, “Beyond the Gates: Inside Fairmont Crest,” in the show’s regular time slot.
According to the network, the special will “pull back the curtain on the show,” featuring cast commentary as they relive their storylines from the just-concluded season one, including all the explosive affairs, shocking cons, and family secrets.
Cast members taking part in the special include Brandon Claybon, Colby Muhammad, Daphnée Duplaix, Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Karla Mosley, Arielle Prepetit, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ben Gavin, Jen Jacob, Kenjah, Alex Alegria, Colby Muhammad, Jibre Hordges, Ambyr Michelle, David Lami Friebe, Sean Freeman, Timon Kyle Durrett, Marquita Goings, Keith D. Robinson, Najah Jackson and Jaden Lucas Miller, among others.
Broken up into segments based on storyline and character connections, the special was taped in November 2025 at the show’s Atlanta-based studio.

Hosted by “Entertainment Tonight” host Kevin Frazier and comedian Sheryl Underwood (“The Talk”), a similar special aired ahead of the show’s premiere in February 2025.
“Beyond the Gates: Inside Fairmont Crest” airs Monday, January 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. PT. Stream Live and On Demand on Paramount+.
“Beyond the Gates” resumes with all-new episodes on Tuesday, January 20.
