The thing about RH is he was only really good at playing Todd.  He's not an awful actor or anything, but it was a lightning in a bottle character/situation.  Pair that with the facts that he's now played 3 characters on the show with almost no wait in between and the overall fatigue of the audience over him playing multiple roles-it's not going to work.  Cut your losses GH and bring back some people we actually want to see.  FV can always bring Austin/RH back in a few years if he has to, but give the audience a break.

I think Cam and Joss work very well as a couple.   BUT Joss's Carly-lite act will definitely get to Cam who I don't think will put up with it.

Also I am getting college schedule conflict vibes with Will Lipton(Cam) like I did when Sidney Mikayla (ex-Trina) became noticeably absent in scenes that should've included Trina. I'd hate to lose Will Lipton, but I think we might. IF we do, how about Tristan Lake Leabu (ex-Reed Hellstrom, Y&R), he's 22 but looks younger and also sings.

Tristan Lake Leabu? He seems focused on his music career, per his instagram account.

Here's what he looked like in June

July 21

And he seems to be trying to avoid that young look now. Here's what he looks like in his instagram of August 13:

And again (although Tabyana Ali is better than her predecessor): This is why you sign actors to contracts, don't just let them float around and coast on vibes and let stans on soap twitter act like magically nobody will leave.

I enjoyed today's show. I'm glad that Oz was able to testify as a witness for Trina's defense. It was nice seeing the charges dropped against her and how everyone was excited for her when Oz testified and she was able to go free. I like this picture.

I do wonder what will happen between her and Spencer tomorrow. He definitely is looking/acting like he's in love with her, but I believe they will be interrupted again in some way. Trina will continue to bond with Rory (which I like), though I want to see more movement for her and Spencer as well in this triangle.

I also wonder about Dex. I wondered at first if he had actually intimidated the jury foreman into bringing in a guilty verdict for Trina. As a way to sabotage Sonny. But it looks like he may have indeed tried to convince the foreman to bring back a not guilty verdict for Trina to impress Sonny and gain his trust for the time being. (And then may possibly sabotage him later on Michael's behalf). I do wonder about Dex's background and what has Sonny so angry about it, (after he talked with Brick and found out new information).

I also think that Willow may stall telling Michael about her having leukemia for the time being, though she definitely needs to tell him.

And I do wonder what will happen now that Victor is involved in Ava/Nikolas's predicament regarding Esme. I do think that Esme will show back up at some point.

I missed all of July. Doesn't feel like it was even necessary to catch-up.

The lack of Chase is glaring. Saw a post on Twitter he should be breaking backs all around and I agree.

Liz is being wasted as usual. She had anxiety and a pill addiction? For a month?

Cameron and Josslyn seem ... not long for this world. Dex is cute.

I liked today's episode. Love Trina being cleared and the actress has chemistry with Spencer/Rory so it could be a good triangle.

Seriously, Sonny and Nina just had their FIRST date?

MacMullen has grown a lot as Willow (will she croak?). Britt/Terry sightings is nice. Wiley is SUCH a child of the corn, another post on social media I saw that I agree with.

Not sure I see any chemistry between Drew/Carly but I still miss AJ. Not Jason. Not sorry about it. Carly feels so neutered.

The show has like 6,000 castmembers ....

I like nuJordan. Third time's the charm?

Always nice to see Tristan Rogers and Charles Shaughnessy (Victor feels like Shane and Drew Donovan had a triplet).

    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
