Is it me or does she sound dramatically different IRL? Much higher voice, much more relatable than the post-'80s Hope who is the stormy ice queen. It's lovely, it's just so different.

Early Hope had a higher voice, too. Makes me wonder if she took voice modulation lessons or something. Or maybe smoking played a role? Either way, it does seem different.

I always heard it was smoking, but I have no idea if that was just a theory.  I wonder if KA decided to change Hope's voice when she returned much like when she did that weird accent for Princess Gina.  Maybe it's an acting 'choice' lol
