Ron likes to do these far out, slow-burn "I bet you thought I forgot about this!" eyeroll-inducing, gotcha! moments. Like, I'm sure he's got stuff stewing for Philip's return and the resolution of all that faked-death ish with Brady and Chloe. it's like how when Sami was first kidnapped, they never even hinted at any sort of "who kidnapped Sami?" sl until they started hinting at it. Someone has arranged for DNA to prove it's Abby. The reason? Honestly, we don't care about whatever BS reason they give because it'll be forgotten in 2 episodes. I suppose Abby had to fake her death because she uncovered something so big, blah blah blah. BTW - Does Abby have an in with Dr. Rolf? I can't remember.
