Yeah, even ED's Kristen had moved on from John. Kristen has been obsessed with Brady for nearly a decade now, so this feels so random. I so loved ED's Kristen with Brady, can we get him tied up instead? 🥰 There really are no consequences if John gets "seduced" by devil-Kristen because he's tied up and helpless. What is he supposed to do? Kind of like how there was that weird line the other day about how she was successful in seducing Eric. Girl, you drugged and raped him. This is all really bizarre but I guess we're just supposed to enjoy getting to see Eileen because that is really what these scenes are about, lol.

Yeah that line about seducing Eric was weird.  That's not at all what happened, but okay.

I liked ED's Kristen/Brady.  I don't like Kristen/Brady anymore.  It went too far and ED/EM had chemistry SH/EM really don't.

It just such an odd take for John to be so tempted by Kristen when realKristen is obsessed with Brady and even ED's Kristen/John haven't been an item in like 25 years.   I know Eileen was limited in her visit and this should be over soon, but I have to believe there was a better way to utilize her.

I am interested in the Sami stuff on Monday.

I thought the ending today was really good.  Not expecting that phone call to Marlena.

I loved Eileen/Drake/Deidre again today.  I am not sure why the devil thinks Kristen would be able to seduce John.  John hasn't shown attraction to Kristen in 25 years.   Well, except for that time he was trying to seduce her to get her away from Brady, but it certainly not a recent thing. I get it's a gimmick for all of them to work together, but it's not even a good plan lol.   Oh well, I have no idea why I am complaining because I liked it, but if John is sleeping with the Devil regardless wouldn't it make more sense for MarDevil to seduce him over KristenDevil?   I think I am overthinking it.

I wouldn't even cure Kristen of her craziness.  I would just do what they need to for Eileen.  She's clearly willing to come back and swapping Kristen actresses isn't a good thing.  It's jarring and confusing and the two Kristens have different personalities and agendas.

Agreed on killing off Susan or like give her scenes with EJ or something less obnoxious.

SS was better on AMC than she is on Days.  She hasn't ever impressed me once on Days, but I do remember thinking she was decent on AMC.

I think I like PW slightly better than RB as Chanel, but they both were/are fine.  I think PW was a more natural actress but she had a bizarre way of delivering her lines that bothered me.  Very sing-songey.  RB has good chemistry with a lot of the cast and hopefully she'll grown to be a better actress.

Spoiler

EJ & Susan have scenes coming up soon

Susan has to go. She is so beyond annoying I have no words. I know everyone feels the need to add qualifiers and to praise Stacy Haiduk, but for me, she’s worn out her welcome. She could write a book filled with her acting tics, so she should leave the show and do that.

Susan is the main problem and the writing for her.   I grew very tied of her back when Eileen Davidson was playing her years ago, and the waaaay over use of her now is madding, aggravating and almost nerve racking.  Kill her off.

Susan is a character that needs to be brought on for an episode or two once a year for scenes with EJ. I also wouldn't mind seeing her with Johnny. But man, nobody was asking for her to be on all the time and involved in the possession storyline. It's awful.

When Eileen returned to play Susan for Will’s return from the dead, she really spoiled me when it came to Susan. Yes she was playing Susan, but I felt like she humanized her as a mother who lost her son.

Even the way she dressed felt more believable to me. Stacey I feel only plays the comedic elements and doesn’t give Susan any depth or heart. She is meant as comic relief and that’s all you’re getting.

The problem is this storyline is not supposed to be comedic, and it's at the point where Susan's presence is hurting it a lot more than helping it.

THIS. I can't believe this is the same Head Writer who wrote such humanizing scenes for Susan then.  She's a complete and total cartoon now, and barely interacts with said son she was distraught over losing years ago.

I actually believe it is. It's a parody of the original. I mean Ron pretty much said that on Dishin Days. He doesn't take any of the stories seriously. They are all told for giggles and laughs.

I know. But it shouldn't be. It would be better if it was taken more seriously.

I get what you mean because camp should be unintentional

Ron would tell you eh!😂 Just like he did for those complaining about Ciara being with serial killer Ben. He doesn't care.

John Waters would disagree with you.

John Waters on camp (from an interview with The Face - August, 2019)

Does camp” still mean anything today?
"If you know, if you’re in on it, it can’t be camp. It has to be something innocent that tried to be good, that was so bad, like the movie Boom! (1968). That’s the true meaning of the word."
