@Faulkner thank you for posting that Reva and India clip. I've watched so little of that period. Mary Kay Adams is absolutely riveting to watch - she takes those delicious lines for all they're worth and slowly builds India up to a woman possessed with rage and horrible insecurity. And Zimmer (who, other than her hair being too fried, always suited that era of style more than the '90s I think) underplays the whole thing to achieve the perfect balance. MKA is just so incredible. You can see why a character who on paper was always a bit thin managed to stay around.

Just a fabulous scene, and it feels like MKA could create electricity with any acting partner. I would have been obsessed with her as a kid. I remember feeling the loss of Neal as a young viewer of ATWT, and I didn’t even watch it that much.

Me too. That's where I first saw her. She was the perfect actress to cast for a short-term role designed to make a big impact.

"The truth about Aaron," words so frustrating to hear for a year and a half, but one hell of a payoff in these scenes. Lisa Brown and Liz Hubbard are as strong as you'd expect, but Susan Marie Snyder is also terrific, and it's a wonderful farewell for Heather Rattray (this is one of her last episodes). Martha Byrne would have been fine, but also played into the "poor Lily" aspect of the character. Rattray's more reserved interpretation cracking as Lily learns the level of betrayal around her makes this material hit harder.

And Susan's confrontation over finding out Karl not only had an affair with Izzy but got her pregnant too.

This is one of my favorites.  Because I think we can all agree Sonny getting punched in the face is worth it.  Plus, the introduction of one of the greatest GH characters of all time..............Miranda. 😜   Also, it always cracks me up the wedding guests are all impatient and no one goes into the foyer to see this epic fight or hears it.

@Khan I love all those Abby/Knots scenes. I was trying to find the "Abby scale" scene, which is one of my favorite scenes with her, but don't know where it is. Around 5 minutes in this does have a good Abby/Paige scene - LML and Lechowick didn't bother to hide their preferences in this rivalry, but I'm glad that Abby still got to have the last word.

Abby is still my favorite.  I also love the Mrs. Ewing conversation with Jill.

Thanks for posting this montage, @DRW50.  You know, one of the most amazing things about Donna Mills is how she "sparks" with practically all her male co-stars, including Doug Sheehan and even Howard Duff.  (If only KNOTS had attempted a Paul/Abby hookup, lol). She is a lot like Susan Lucci in that respect.

My all-time favorite "Abby moment" is early on, in her relationship with Greg.  I can't recall the exact speech, but I always remember the final line: "Money's gonna win every time."

I'd love for someone from Sony to tell me -- to my face -- what they thought was so "outdated" about scenes like these.  Everything about the scenes -- the acting, the directing, the set, the lighting and music -- was PERFECT.  It was perfect then, and even moreso now.

It probably was seen as outdated by them because of the need to make daytime more like primetime.

But the irony is that there are primetime series airing currently that were clearly influenced by the "classic" Y&R aesthetic.  It's as if TPTB don't watch even the shows they're trying so desperately to imitate, lol.

Was that the love or money speech?  I love that one too.  She was a great character!
