Yeah but this was long before Billy and Victoria were ever together. They were not even in the same stories initially and I am almost sure they never had any scenes together or at least no significant ones. It was Billy and Mac for the most part during David Thom's run on the show.

Yes, BUT they were never a pairing until both bro and sis actors left their roles. This would definitely rule out both actors returning simultaneously.

Billy Miller to me is the best Billy Abbott, but I liked David Tom's tenure. I was surprised he got canned after returning in 2014/15ish. Jason Thompson is too unanimated. IDK if incorporating a bit of Patrick Drake into the role might spice it up.

I see what you mean. Sadly, of course he's right about the media (but he feeds into it and let's not pretend he doesn't say false stuff on the regular and isn't a self-serving moron). I see it everyday. I'm beyond turned off by the media and the talking heads and I see the different agendas being hammered home, getting everyone online in a tizzy. No one is innocent here, both sides turn me off for multiple reasons. They can ALL kick rocks. Anywho ... let's get back on track.

Makes me miss the CBS Daytime soap block so much, especially when they were all good in the late 80’s/early 90’s.

Y&R, B&B, ATWT, and GL all flowed so well together as a soap block. All offering something different, but also a real synergy as a block of soaps when they were watchable.

It's funny you should frame it that way - I remember going back home and not only my parents, but my brother were totally into the Cassandra story. NA was not only stunning, but also a solid actor. Was there a specific reason why she was axed? The weird Brad/Paul rivalry flopped instantly.  I'll admit I was a big Paul/Cassandra stan.

I was a Paul /Lauren fan and Paul/Cassandra fan too but instead we got boring Cricket and Paul....talk about dull boring. Paul sure was his mother's son. Righteous Mary Williams...lol

    • It was a good episode. I didn't expect things to unravel so soon.   One thing I still don't like about these big events: Where was everyone else?   This is a big event. Everyone should've been there.
    • Mitch, thanks for that history of the Reardon Boarding House kitchen.  I had always assumed that every time the kitchen set returned, it was a recreation of the original set.  So I have been wrong about that.   Was the kitchen set ever used later, while Buzz and the Coopers owned the boarding house?

    • Do they ever do anything well?  The show is about 4 week story arcs - if that it feels like.  Why wouldn’t you spend a month of subtle hints.  Late to events and don’t telegraph it.  Have repeated issues with time; I had a friend whose Mom suddenly was forgetting half the meal in the fridge to be heated for a meal; twice her husband had to go to her work to get her because she was still working and only noticed no one was there until he walked in to find her and make her come home (it was a doctor’s office, there’s not that kind of job);  knowing she had an appointment and not be worried by it, etc.   No, they have him do a head bonk and bam it’s cancer.     It’s almost an insult.

    • Today showed why almost no one comments on this crap soap. -- We're back to pretending that there aren't SCORES of cosmetics companies out there --  only Jabot and whoever else opens up shop in Genoa City to be the competition. No real business runs this way. -- Marchetti is supposed to be an internationally-renowned fashion house, yet both Chelsea and Sally are ready to walk after being high-level executives there. -- It's not often women leave choice executive positions in their field of expertise to work in a business they're clueless about. -- Sally had a lot of nerve shading Chelsea with "It's easy to see Adam's influence on you" when the same damn thing is happening with Billy. -- I'm glad Lauren told Michael to quit, since we've all been mouthing that for weeks. None of that story is helped by CLB's over-the-top acting. -- The scene with Victoria helping a sick, coughing Cole walk to their car on the way to the hospital was laughable. Wouldn't rich people call a damn ambulance? -- Claire was really concerned, wasn't she? She stayed in the doorway instead of helping her mother, and then headed right to Crimson Lights for coffee. Why bother with checking on her possible terminal father at the hospital?
