Huntress Members Share Posted January 20 The lockdown in Germany has been extended to at least February 14th. FFP2 masks (or surgical masks) are now mandatory in stores and on public transport. Community masks and the likes are no longer allowed. Schools and nurseries stay closed nationwide. Stay-at-home orders remain in 3 states (Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Saxony) and in other hot spots. The daily numbers of new infections have been decreasing, but the death count has remained high. In Austria, the FFP2 rule will also come into force next week.

Soapsuds Members Share Posted January 21 Well another cousin of mine got covid. The good thing is that her only symptoms were no taste of smell. My folks got vaccinated so I'm thrilled about that.

She always wears a mask but she is one who has to visit family. I'm sorry but I've kept away from family minus my folks.
DRW50 Members Share Posted January 21 I think a lot of the criticisms of WHO are fair...I just hope that with rejoining, we will address some of these instead of only handing money out.
Khan Members Share Posted January 22 Remember, folks, Trump said the virus would disappear as soon as the weather turned warm. That was pretty much all his administration was set to do: wait until the weather turned warm.
