The best part of today's show was at the end with Eric and Liam.

I am paraphrasing it.....

Eric to Liam: (after Liam bullied in and tried to intimated Eric)......You live an unhappy life.  Why would I want that for Steffy?.....Bwahahahahahahaha

The writers paint Stephanie as if she was some magnanimous paragon of wisdom, virtue and strength as opposed to the manipulative bitter woman who committed many heinous acts. It's laughable. And crazy Pam passing judgment. Didn't she put Eric in a coma or something?

When Steffy said that all the male members of her family would have to die before she got control, that was so true and speaks volumes about the blatant sexism that exists. I liked that it was called out with that line

Liam needs to STFU. He is in the right but makes it so hard to actually want to root for him. I thought Eric was going to have a mild heart attack in that scene which would have caused conflict with Steffy and pushed her closer to Wyatt

I was waiting for Liam to attack Eric. He was so over the top. Steffy can take care of herself. And correct me if I am wrong but has Quinn ever gone after Steffy violently?? She worships the ground she walks on and thinks she royalty thus wanting Steffy for her son.

I thought so too but you know Quinn would have been blamed for it....LOL.

Yeah this paranoia when it comes to Quinn attacking Steffy is completely flawed. Quinn always has admired Steffy -that's why she went to extremes to pair her with WyNot. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't recall Quinn doing anything that would undermine or hurt Steffy - even when Steffy smacked her in MC, Quinn didn't fight back, she tried to reason with her.

i think the show really has undermined itself with the pointless Katie scenes. However, based on a brief comment $B made, I wouldn't be surprised if he's behind Katie's strange and aggressive behavior towards Eric.

Clearly B&B learned nothing from the 'murdah!' video.  How sad Brad is going that route again. It's ludicrous that Katie hears Quinn being sane and 'thanking' Liam that she somehow decides to record what was a pretty innocuous convo. If it were heated at beginning, that'd be different. Weird. Time to go back to reading daily summaries. No point in watching.

Lord knows I loathe Eric but he read Liam's waffling ass for filth. He was right on every point. My problem is Eric's motivation. He is Quinn's puppet and the sad part is he believes she has nothing to do with the decisions he makes. When the crazy comes out, I don't want Eric disappointed. I want him victimized. Chain that jackass in a cellar!

Is there anyone more pathetic than Why(?)?  He goes in and begs Steffy, who is no prize, every chance he gets. And Steffy is like old Grampy...She's at her happiest when her ass is being kissed. Totally ignoring that her new position is part of Quinn's scheme because Why(?) is complimenting her and kissing her ass.

Katie and Brooke on speaking terms?  Nuf said!

This show is so reptivei tha I hadnt realized I didnt see Friday's show

Wow, Eric is more manipulative than Quinn is these days. I dont get why he is so invested in his granddaughter's love like. He looks like a fool taking up for Quinn and her plots

Eric's old geriatric ass has always wanted an outdoor shower? What contrived bulls--t nonsense is this? Ridge was out his mind saying Quinn was flirting with him when he was the one that snuck on her while she was showering

Katie's video of Quinn. Am I missing something? I dont see how that proves anything. There wasnt anything incriminating on that

What an embarrassment!  Repeating that crappy story again!  And then yesterday we get the ridiculous Eric always wanted an outdoor shower. Really?? When?? And the shower is placed in the front of the house where guests/family enter by the door?? Insane s  hit storytelling!  That pretty much did it for me!  Add to that Ridge looking at Quinn and then Ridge/Rick talking about her being nude. I am so done with this show. My new year's resolution is to stop watching B&B after Jan 1.  I am done....I am out......oh and when did Brooke and Katie become buddy buddy again?? This soap is the shitz...

    • That was so surprising to me today. I didn’t see any spoilers that this was coming up so I loved it!
    • Well, VI was leaving, and while Long admits that killing him was stupid...I do agree with letting him go with a big bang...body missing.  They spent a lot of time and money on Infinity, (which I think might have gotten a bit of a better reputation had it not been the harbinger of a total tonal change with the Bauers and Reardon's decimated and its all Reva and the Lewis and the weird people hanging out around Kyle) so they needed it to end dramatically. They could have done so much more with having Alex go after Kyle and Billy, but that ends and she starts moping over weird and boring Simon. With Kurt..what were you going to do.. cute but boring and perfect and with ties to no one (they had a nice little thing where Bea took him under her wing when everyone left but then she did too..) If they had the balls they would have had Rick and Mindy jump in the sack ( I know, Mindy should have learned birth control by then) I would have had it be Mindy who knows about Rick's drug use and she tries to help him...(not that nobody who came and went) of course, Kurt and Roxie misunderstand..that on top of her bad Sampson Girl thing leaves him to leave her temporarily, and in grand soap tradition, Rick and Mindy console each other (again, I would write it that they always really did, and Mindy rushed into things with Kurt) and she gets knocked up, and loving Rick but also Kurt she chooses to believe it is Kurts (which I could see Princess Mindy doing "My life is perfect and I will it that way, this is Kurts kid")But, she had the dumb model thing, then she burned down the house he was building, she tried to get prefers and he dies (but also Kobe was the one who built him up, then she was gone when he was let go.) Ross believe it or not is one of the last of the "old guard" characters, beside Ed (who is now FauxEd) and Maureen, and Henry and Van (who is ties to being the Lewis family mope.) JVD has made jokes that they didn't write him out as they simply forgot that he was there! Reva doesn't even call her mother when she comes back! I never saw the use of Sarah but they could have reunited them and sent her and Hawk out of town together. Hell, I don't like the Shaynes but she should have mentioned Roxie and Rusty.  The weird thing is that Dylan had a ton of story and was very important to the Van/Bridget baby custody story. By the time Reva comes back Dylan had only been gone a year so its not like people wouldn't know him..( I liked him and Bridget together...) So he comes back in 97 and acts like it's no big deal Reva is alive so they must have talked off camera. But Reva was too busy squacking about that annoying toothy Marah and blank Shayne to talk about anything else.  It's not quite as weird as Van, who obsessed over Peter, comes back to SF and never mentions him...i.e. "I saw Peter this weekend and he so barely remembers me but he is happy with Bridget and Dylan...")
    • Excellent! The OLTL-GH promo places this and the RH episode (which I assume aired directly before this AMC) as airing during the week of Aug. 20.
    • Thanks! There's never enough early 1980s AMC around.    The only actor I don't recognize is the actress playing Wanda, Mike's agent.
    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
