He never looks good. If it isn't his $3.99 dye jobs he buys out of a box it is the awkward and awful hair cuts. The guy has almost no self awareness about his hair and it has been this way since the day he arrived on GH. His hair has at times tinted orange, blue, been gray, had bizarre hairlines, and been too puffy. The beard and mustache doesn't work for him.

Rebecca Budig isn't looking so great herself. I see prettier and more glamorous looking women everyday on the street.

LOL…love the post…actually at the end of last Friday episode was her first day. She was the actual cliffhanger….besides the rest of the S H I T…..with Fluke and the insane Nathan vs Spinelli in the boxing ring.

Patrick asks Sam to move in with him. He talks about her and Danny but not once did he mention Emma. Really, Sam had to bring her up? I dont think Sam and Emma have ever eve shared a scene since Patrick started dating.

Patrick: "Emma really likes you. She admires you, she adores you" Is this one of those character developments that happened offscreen?

I cant believe we found out Greenlee's secret so soon. I kind of wish they had dragged it out a bit longer than a day. What a stupid story for her and Ric to proceed with this plan and not have all the details ironed out

Rebecca's Herbst's age has finally caught up with her

Lulu and Tracy were both super annoying in their scene with Valerie

Alexis doesnt want Molly to move in with Ric bc she doesnt beleive he's gone straight....yet her ass is sleeping with Julian knowing he is back in the mob for a fact.

I watched yesterday and today's episodes back to back so I'm not sure what was from which show but...

Ava asking Silas if he remembers what she said to him when they were making love...you only spoke once, or you only slept together once? How the hell would he remember?! I was so ticked not only from the stupidity of it but also because Silas was cheating on his wife at the time! I'm supposed to feel sorry for Ava? Let her die.

Valerie. Talking to Lulu and Tracy while Luke is in the closet. Why didn't she run down the effing hall while she had the chance?! I would have. Just as I sent my visitors away I would have stepped into the hall, closed the door quietly, and ran for my life. It's all so lame.

Sam, say yes to Patrick. Move in with him so we don't have to see Alexis's nipples again, k thx.

    • Honestly, rewatching the mid-80's, I wonder if Pam Long GAF about anyone other than Reva. Even Alexandra, who isn't getting any great story that I can see, she revolves around her precious Brandon.  Reva is supposed to be plucky, "tell it like it is" brave for living with no regrets, while she pisses and moans, biting the Lewis hand that clothes and feeds her so she can lust after a virtual stranger because they've both "hungered" to be a Lewis and feel like they've been excluded from the precious Lewis circle of trust.  Lord love a duck. Long didn't know how to write for strong women. She's not interested in Annabelle, Nola, Katie (although she hadn't had a story since '81) or Trish, Mo and Claire have babyitis, Roxy's an ex-whore, Mindy's spoiled but occasionally tries to grow up and Beth cries all day everyday. Yes, Vanessa isn't the mover and shaker she was upon entering Springfield. But at least she was allowed to grow as a character. Unlike Reva, she's not hamstrung in some eternal sexpot role that she can't escape from.  As much as I dislike some aspects of the Dylan storyline, it's arguably Long's best umbrella story. Yes, it could've been written without Vanessa, but it's undoubtably richer for her being in it.
    • Thank you! I feel the exact same way. Xander and EJ are great villains. This moment between Xander and Philip has been building since November. It was ugly, it was horrible, but it was real. Not some Nickelodeon b.s. that this show has constantly served for years. Now, a big part of why I like these characters are the actors who portray them. They are dynamic, charismatic, and genuinely talented. They actually feel like the new Stefano and Victor, but without being carbon copies. They are their own messed up, villainous, bastards. There are multiple characters in their corner and against them at any given time. Both good and fellow bad people in the community praising and damning them. The show feels like a soap opera again. And crazy as it is to say, I'm even more excited to watch it then I am Beyond the Gates most days, and that's saying a lot. As for Stephanie's book, they're keeping me intrigued wondering where it's going. Bringing in Kate was a genius move. However, I'm still Abigail Klein's biggest hater on this board. Generic Barbie is literally the Sofia Mattsson of DAYS to me, just a complete wash of an actress. However, I think her being a PR person is a damp squib of a profession and since we're stuck with her this could be a way of finally getting her away from her "successful firm." Body and Soul was her lowest low, even worse than when she was poisoning apples or whatever trying to kill Chloe of all people. Philip returning was the best thing to happen to her character in ages. When both stories were happening simultaneously, you could literally see the difference in how much energy she put into performances from one scene to the next.
    • I find the black & white episodes FAR more atmospheric and spooky than the color episodes.   The first few months of Dark Shadows move ploddingly slow when you're binge-watching, with entirely too much repetition and exposition.  But as someone noted above, it's the only time in the show when you get much character development.  After the 1795 sequence, it's pretty much like "just make something up; nobody cares."   The series essentially became self-parody with the overload of monsters & ghoulies.  I was watching a scene one time in which the Witch was attempting to stop the Phoenix from staking the Vampire, and I got tickled at the absurdity of three "monsters" in one scene.
    • So cool!!!   And that picture is fierce!!!
    • Just glancing through, it does remind me that I really need to catch up. Sounds like the new writing team have been off to a good start.
    • Loved Katie's reaction to seeing Philip beaten up and near death.
    • I am so pleasantly surprised at how the new writing team is approaching Kate. Towards the end of R*n's run, she faded right out, off contract, pouring coffee at the Brady Pub...and then somehow it turned around and she's back in suits, woven in and out of multiple storylines, and inching back towards the business world, while having her relationship with Roman being written maturely.
    • Someone apparently told Brad Bell that "playing all the beats" meant repeating the same dialogue every day.

Steal her away from Y&R and make her "Sharon".
    • -- I continue to enjoy DAYS post-Carlivati. These women have done a great job in refocusing the show. -- It sounds nuts not to agree with "rapists and murderers shouldn't be romantic leads." But then you get characters like Xander and EJ, and you have to put an asterisk after that quote. I enjoy both characters far too much to want them off the show or thrown in jail. They're romantic leads, but you can't tell me they haven't faced consequences. -- I think the Xander beatdown of Phillip was well-directed -- and in character. Some people here believe Xander went too far. Well, that's who Xander is, and we've seen that many times over these past years. He thought he had family, and then realized it was all a lie, so he resorted back to his animal roots. -- The Stephanie Racy Book storyline is soooooo bad. I had to laugh that she couldn't find her manuscript in that 2x4 apartment.
