Sorry folks but I am enjoying this show..soapy as it should be..when nothing happens folks complain and now when things are rocking..folks complain..only 4 soaps left so I am not going to complain. Just enjoy!!!

I enjoyed most of it too, kenerly1. I powered thru Mon-Wed shows back to back and wasn't bored at all. Even the sex scene between Jack and Kelly, strange as it was was good. The show has improved in the quality of the actors like JH and GT, Mishael M, CG (Sage and Joe aren't terrible either) so when the show gets really soapy it's not neary as bad as it could be with less talented actors. I do think as someone mentioned up thread that the writers tried to sprinkle in some funny stuff as well to keep it entertaining.

No, I wasn't watching ATWT. Watched AW my whole life until its cancellation in '99 when I turned to OL until the end.

As others have said, this type of scenario has played out several times before. I just think it could be good if done well. I remember the Terror Island story on Sunset Beach and always enjoyed that!

Well he should've been more subtle about his plagiarizing. I know all good writers steal but they at least plot the stories they stole better than the original. It's like he didn't even try to distinguish his plot stealing from the original.

Just cancel Y&R at this point. Seriously. I'd rather it be put out its misery than for it to be dragged on till it's imminent death.

CG/Mariah was the bright spot in the cabin story today.

This was the first time I have ever cared about what Dylan does. I'm glad he stood up for Sharon. Give Nick hell!

You know, you're probably right. Let's look at the geniuses who were in that room (except for Mariah) and none of them would know the difference between dead, passed out, etc. They obviously have the 'out' with Fen's party drug - that it mimicked the signs of death. OC, WHY Austin would decide to play dead when he wasn't conspiring with Fen is a big issue, among a dozen other things that I'm sure everyone can think of as well... I'm still waiting for that 'mystery' appearance - I'm still thinking it might be a certain 'well-known' from decades past. Not that anyone would care at this point.

Oh brother...Colin proclaiming they could go for help because he found a map? WTH???! LOLLLL. How the hell does the map tell you where you are? Your plane crashed, LOLLLL. Is there a little red square/pin on the map like they have on the Mall directory..."You are here". So stupid...he said something like..."from what I can tell we're likely somewhere around here..." And how did you ascertain that? hahahaha.

Watching the entire hour of Y&R is like taking amphetamines at this point. It's unbelievable, I've never seen any soap like it. Even Pratt has never been this nutty before.

Notice how at one point the other day Mariah was like, "forget Summer, poor Austin!" and then 30 seconds later, she is agreeing with the others that they need to cover up Austin's death to save Summer? What was that? I watched that scene twice trying to understand how that happened and I still don't know. And all the stuff with PornHub Courtney taking a larger role is just unbelievably dreadful - she is a terrible actress and they keep having her deliver speeches about how she really is a cop, you guys! "I AM A FREAKIN' COP! THIS WHOLE HOUSE IS A CRIME SCENE! AUSTIN CLEARLY DIED FROM BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA!" Oh, God. I haven't even mentioned the insta-plot flashbacks.

I don't understand why Sage and Nick stopped in the middle of their horrible disaster - that just happened literally two minutes ago with Nick's family trapped in the next room, possibly dead - to have a conversation about life and love so Nick could kiss her. What? And let's not start on my sinking feeling that the Jack who fucked Kelly was not drugged after all, but instead, judging by his wardrobe, possibly a fuckin' doppleganger - Flack!

A cave-in! A murder! A plane crash! A skyscraper fire! Sharon acting stupid! All in one week. Those Sharon/Faith scenes about the car made absolutely no sense. Yes, Sharon, you do need your medication.

What a crazy fuckin' show.

That was another huge WTF?! Why Mariah, Courtney and Kevin would get involved in a criminal cover up to help Summer is beyond me. Ridiculous! I agree with your whole post, this show has gone crazy. I don't hate it though. It's almost like a strange science project I'm observing. Wondering what it is and what it's going to do next.
