So Milo's in love with Felix?

I'm still surprised this whole wedding drama wasn't some dream of Nathan's. It's a sad day when you have two mediocre young actresses and Kirsten Storms out acts Emme Rylan. Hell, Woodpile was better! Mac got shot ... ok? Is it a quick recovery, do we actually see him again, or is he miraculously fine soon? I wish I cared more. I liked Lucy offering herself up. But come on, Maxie and Lulu couldn't overtake these losers? Maxie just had to step on his foot with those hooves of her she was wearing and Nathan could have tackled faux Kangaroo Ken.

Olivia calling out Carly ... zzzz. Sonny repeatedly calling the object of Milo's affections a female when it was clearly anything but ...

Ron needs to learn the art of subtlety.

Today's episode did Liz no favors. And Nikolas looks like a joke. I feel like Tyler Christopher is refusing to be his age. Hence the haircut and the facial hair. Awful. Not to mention the bloat.

Nina and Dr. O finally interacted. Man, between Dr. O, Franco and Nina it was pet central today at General Hospital! I don't know who chewed the scenery more between the three of them. I'm actually not opposed to Franco and Nina getting their crazy on together, honestly.

At this point I'd rather have Milo with Lucas.

I cant believe two beautiful women are fighting over bloated sun burned Tyler Christopher...ugh

Nina and Dr. O...ugh....seriously I really thought O was on to her but instead they made her look stupid for the first time.

But this is what Craptini does. Pairings don't organically break up (or come together) with them. Ron sets his sights on something new and then he tells the audience everything they saw was just crap (which we already knew but still). {He's doing the same thing with Francly. Now, Carly turned to the serial killer who tormented Jason because she missed Jason? Who else is scratching their heads on this one? If anything, she'd want his head on a platter. Since they went there with Francly, have them close and still "loving" one another when Jason returns. That is the real drama . As it stands, FrankenTodd is more hung up on Carly than she is on him, so it will be an exercise [for Jason] of getting her out of this relationship she does not want to be in? WTF wants to see that}?!

Sam and Sighlazzzz came together largely because they bonded over him saving Danny and being there for her.

I loved that Obrecht called Nina out on her deception but too bad she was off the mark.

WTF? Now all of a sudden Milo is gay? Like WTF

Why did Mac get shot? I was hoping Maxie would for being so stupid

And Patrick called Sam out on it being an overexageration so there was no rewritten history here. The stuff that people are complaining about was acknowledged in the script

The truth is this, or at least it's what they should go with: Carly latched on to Franco because between the death of Jason and her betrayal by both Johnny and Todd Manning, she had a nervous breakdown. Seeking solace, she attached herself to a man who reminded her of both Jason (his 'brother') and Todd. She wanted to believe she could recreate brain-damaged, vulnerable outlaw Jason in his madman 'brother.' She can't.

You don't even have to name Todd - just say the man she was with after Jason died. That would be a no-bullshit way of dealing with this mess. The same could also be said for Michael with Kiki Jerome vs. Starr.

As for Milo, Ron has always been kind of into the lunkhead playing him and has been weirdly titillated by playing with his ambivalent sexuality - I think if he thought he could get away with having him 'turned' by Felix, he would. But it's just another creepy, crass tease. I'm just grateful we were spared last summer's frontburner story with Milo and Lulu.

So I guess everyone missed it being mentioned that Sabrina returns "tomorrow". Ugh. Im guessing she shows up early next week

Carly looks like such an idiot. To this day, she is the only one that was around during Franco's original reign of terror that actually defends him

    • I think Krista is too hot or her. I think the current actress works bc she comes across so basic. Thats not a dig but she feels very normal and relatable as an average suburban woman. I think if Krista was in the role, Id want more out of her but I dont think Jan is meant for bigger things

    • The sad thing about SC being a great actor is that his character has never worked. Ever. And yes if I don't know what Liam is about and just focus on acting... I can appreciate him. But as soon as I connect him to Liam... I cringe.  Maybe SC should run till he is still young and find himself a role where he can shine.
    • As I've said before I don't believe the fact that both sisters have cheating husbands (one in the past, one more recently) is a coincidence or anything random. It's pre-thought and pre-planned and the message is clear. Cheaters can be found in all shapes, forms and sizes. Some do it in the most blatant way, they are known serial cheaters and their wives know of their past hook ups (as Dani has already said... she was willing to forgive Bill for his previous mistresses... till Hayley came) and some are more masterfully disguised in the image of the perfect husband. The fact that Dani was jealous of her sister Nicole's happy marriage in the first episodes was not a coincidence. I knew it the first second I heard it. It made me wonder and think what is beneath Nicole and Ted's picture perfect life. The show painted two very different sisters and then gave them the same crisis. It was intentional and dramatically focused on how these women acted after that... How they kept or did not keep their dignity. The contrasts and the similarities are not random. They connected the two stories very well. Telling us that beyond the gates there are secrets... lies and betrayals. And sometimes the happiest ones have the biggest skeletons in their closets. Is all of this a cliche? A soap opera serial cliche? Yes. Does it still work? Yes. And did we need to start with something that is more universal and easier to stomach by the mass audience? Yes. This is only the beginning of the show in terms of stories and themes. We will have years ahead of us to explore different aspects of these people. The first couple of months it had to be a classic sex and betrayal story that makes more people hooked. It's universal. Again. Nothing so far about both husbands being cheaters is coincidental for me. It's too early for that.
    • Thanks, these are great! Joanne Curtis, another soap character punished for having an abortion

    • Yes!!! Mona feels  like one of my aunts, love the way she carries herself. Loved seeing Eva pop-up at the gambling place.  Monday was all around good soap. Can't remember the last time an entire episode held my interest.  Loving the fallout and reverberations from Ted and Shea-Butter Sheila's affair

. Tricia Mann Grant is 90s early 2000s quality FINE. As nice as it would've been to see Anita embrace Eva, I'm glad she didn't because we can squeeze a lot more years of conflict out of Eva, Leslie and the Duprees.   Lauren & Sheila, Viki & Dorian, Katherine & Jill all gave us good conflict for decades. Hopefully this follows suit. I understand the concern. Right now there's an issue of quality of black representation on shows more so than quantity of black shows. I'd like to see more predominantly black sci-fi, legal, political, supernatural or medical dramas over the typical who is sleeping with who. However, this is a soap, and this is what happens on soaps. White soap characters do these things all the time, but have the luxury of being seen as individuals, not representations of their entire race. Husbands/fathers like Todd Manning, Victor Newman and Asa Buchanan cheat, lie and swindle all the time but aren't seen as a commentary on white men. Black characters like Ted and New Dollar Bill should be able to do the same.
    • And that area of the DMV has a high-end glamorous casino the MGM National Harbor.
    • Even under the new writers, Jamey episodes are the shortest and the weakest A lot of people were unnecessarily clowny and bitchy today. There was a lot of fluff and filler too. And the dialogue was a little… ehhh as well. But welcome back, Kevin! It’s been a long time lol his return still seems really random but I don’t mind it. Philip’s actions make sense to me based on everything that’s happened to him lately and it could possibly set up more tension between him and Xander/Alex. And I wouldn’t mind seeing him and Kevin team up. I thought the actor did a good job too. Too bad that they couldn’t get Robert Benvenisti back though. I didn’t realize it in 2001 but he was hot

And, we got the word that Arianna wants to come home. I’m looking forward to that, and seeing her relationships with Gabi, Marlena, etc. on display and I hope that

As for Rachel’s birthday party… was Days hinting at something that we’ve been speculating about since EJ was shot?
