EJ has been to a board meeting and slept with Abby (almost getting caught in the process by Sami who flew in from Chicago), JJ has successfully blackmailed Theresa, Brady moved out and has walked back and forth from Daniel's apartment about 10 times - all this has taken place during the length of Eric's endless conversation with a monk.
