Wow, that looks like it took a lot of time to research and put together! Looks like a downward slide except for a spike up for Chapter 4, Part 1 of AMC (and Chapter 4, Part 2 of OLTL) -- Chapter 4 being the week they went to 2 episodes a week.

Definitely see the case they're making that people are starting at the beginning.

Maybe the new writers will care more about Griffin. I don't like how one-note Griffin has been on the show so far, being all about how bad David is, especially considering he used to admire David and was trained by him.

Actors are given guarantees for a specified number of episodes per week or per cycle (every thirteen weeks). Say, Julia Barr has a 2 appearance per week guarantee, but is only used one day that week. She still gets paid for the day she isn't used (unless there's something in her contract that specifies she can appear once one week then three times the next). This is pretty much standard in the business. The number of days filming has nothing to do with how they're paid.

Yeah I remember PP in that long variety article saying one of their major ways to cut costs was that they paid actors per day or per week instead of per episode.

"For example, actors are paid per day, rather than per episode under previous guild contracts. With the accelerated production sked, that means if, say, an actor works on five episodes in one day, net pay is much less."

I forgot where it was revealed, but I absolutely do remember it being revealed the actors were being paid a flat weekly rate instead of the usual per episode rate.

Took about 2.5 hours. I couldn't stop once I got started. I was shocked they appear to have literally every episode they ever uploaded on that list. I was tempted to watch old episodes of Buffy and Reba. I was initially doing 1, 2, 3, 4 across but that got old by 275 then I started doing the count 1 - 25 down (which equals 100 episodes and I'd mark up every 100th episode in Wordpad) and that was far less a pain in the behind.

It'll be interesting to see how things fall in another month. Will the trend continue with Chapter 5, 6, 7, 8 remaining 4000 or lower. Were AMC 4,1 and OLTL 4, 2 just a case of people not realizing the episodes had been cut in half quite yet? Or, on the other hand, will, Chapter 5, 6, 7, 8 climb up into the 3000s or higher.

    • I always had the impression that Blake turning out to be Christina was a storyline switcheroo after they decided to bring back Roger. She used to talk to someone on the phone and it sounded like it was a younger sibling. Maybe originally they were going to be Spaulding cousins, like Johnny was a Bauer cousin? I'm pretty sure in the Spaulding backstory Brandon had a brother.  LOL. Nola was established as the youngest, the name Chelsea doesn't fit in with the other Reardon sibling names, AND she had a very prominent Southern accent. Kassie would have been more believable as a Lewis or a Shayne. Plus, the character was boring as heck.
    • Is JM making the booty pop too? BtG has all the males shook.
    • 5-15   OMFG!!!! Dayyyyyummm Nick!!! I see the costume designer pinpointed that fitted outfit all the way down for me. WOOF!!! And Audra in the yellow dress. When she sashayed into Crimson Lights in that yellow looked hot AF, even I did a double take. ZS was giving. I kinda like Claire's, Nikki's and Victoria's outfits, but those ZS and JM fits were the standouts for me.   That said...for an episode where nothing really happened...I actually enjoyed it for the first time this week as a whole. I guess it has the slight hint of plot movement. Nikki and Victoria being worried that Claire didn't want to move in with Kyle. Kyle being a little toooooooooo flirty for my liking with Audra and fall of double entrendres with her AND Claire...signaling he is so about to do something stupid. And then there was Jack, Diane, and Kyle's pow-wow and figuring out that Victor was behind Audra's company. Then there was just Holden stalking Audra per usual.    Audra scheming is always going to be fun. And I do hope she best Kyle. Well at least without actually sleeping with him. I am wondering how Holden will factor into that whole triangle now. Wild card?

I actually received a signed photo from her back on 2001. Sad enough the photo is still no among us But I think it would have been juicy to give some material for Morgan and Taylor, they did play a huge part with each other back in 2000-2001 but I also understand why the show wanted to pursue Tridge and Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle instead.
    • -- More bad writing. We've been told how Derek takes care of his vehicle. A guy who knows how to detail a car/truck would not be so stupid as to use steel wool on stainless. -- Oh, and here's more bad writing. Tomas said he was bumped from a case by another lawyer and was going home to work. Haven't we been told he's on the partner track? There's no way he'd be bumped on a case.

    • Watched another batch of episodes.  Ann Williams is just sensational. How this woman did not win an Emmy I will not an understand. Her confrontation with Eliot over April's fall was just spectacular. April's pregnancy storyline is a bit eh. I still don't care for Draper. April and Draper just don't it for me. There was a scene between Logan and April where all was forgiven about the custody for Jamie and that was a bit odd. Did Slesar just get tired of that plot point? Seems like they may be setting up a Logan/April/Draper triangle. Cliff now works as an assistant D.A.? Was this always the case? It seemed like he worked for Logan's campaign and then he worked with Deborah and Steve. Nice to see Cliff do more than pester Deborah. Deborah and Owen have no chemistry but the inevitable Deborah/Nola confrontation will be fun. Cliff is still sideline and Steve is still wearing low-cut shirts. Nola and Owen has great confrontation about Deborah. First-rate writing and acting. Paige and Brian are still mooning over each other. I'm enjoying the setup for the film.  Miles, Nicole, Geraldine, Steve, and Nancy have been pretty much MIA in these episodes.
    • Marquita Goings (Hayley) played a younger version of Debbi Morgan's character in this project: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15364098/ I agree that June sounds like Hayley, and Tracy looks like Debbi Morgan!
