Thank you so much I will definitely be checking it out. Just got your message and thank you. My apologies for responding so late, as my father died unexpectedly this past Saturday (April 25) and I have been offline trying to get his arrangements squared away and his affairs settled.

Rolf being involved explains it all for Lexie being somewhat alive. Could she have had a twin that was never introduced and her memories put into this young lady. @Soapsuds I am glad I am not the only one who thought of this when I read the name Angelica Nero

Love to see Linstrom on contract.. Very wise move!! Love the character. Also, glad to see Alegria on recurring. Was never a fan of Tomas and do feel that there were better performers to play that role.

Did they explain how Lexie survived?? The only thing that might make her return better is if she ends up having an evil side like the rest of her DiMeria sibilings.

Let's hope she is not another lost child of Maggie!!!!! Didn't Orpheus have a daughter who was a lawyer a few years back?? Could she be that character..... maybe she is back to bond with Marlena, who she could have viewed as her mom on Orpheus island.

So I have not watched in a while. Was it really Lexie that EJ brought Theo to see?? How did they explain her resurrection, since we all saw her die on screen (but then again does anyone EVER really die in Salem)??

It seems as if the show NEVER knew what to do with the character or Jeremy Horton. He could have interacted with his aunt Jennifer or his cousin JJ. They could have made him a doctor like both his parents coming to work at the hospital or he could open a new clinic at Horton Square. So many missed opportunites once again for him.

No offense here and I have not watched Days in several years ( I am a fan of old school Days and it's supercouples), but if the show did not recast Chad DiMera would it really be that big of a loss??? They could have written the character out for a while and then bring him back several years later.

I could see her playing a sister of Vanessa or even an old flame of Joey's to give Vanessa come competition. If joey has an estranged daughter it should be Ashley and give her something meatier to do on the show.

That is great he is on contract with them now. He deserves it. Cady McClain deserves to be on contract with them as well, but hey that is something for another time

Okay all I am retiring in 3 weeks, I am already going to pick up GH and/or BTG...Should I add B&B to the mix or no way?? Thoughts?? Suggestions??

Too bad the beond.tv you cannot view the AMC episodes here in the US. I would LOVE to find a streaming channel or channel online that I could watch old episodes of Days, AMC and others.

Looks like I have some catching up to do on BTG when I retire in 3 weeks. I would LOVE to see Jon Lindstrom full time on this show... he is a gem!!! I wonder who his sister is?? If you could choose an actress to play her, who would your thoughts be?? What a twist it would be if it was Cady McClain's character Pamela, as we don't know alot about that character either

This is great news for the genre. I would like to see some of the other networks jump on the bandwagon to create or even tweak/ revive some of the ones now longer on the air. I would love to see Ryan's Hope back with the new generation of Ryan's, Coleridges, etc. Or Loving/The City back with the newer generations of Aldens, Rescott's, Forbes leading the way.

I do think they have started to change some of the original backgrounds of characters, now that it is going. I still would like to see them bring in another wealthy family that would maybe be competition for the DuPree's. I haven't watched in a while, but did they ever say who Ashley's father was?? I have long believed since the beginning of the show, that Ashley's father was mobster Joey. Perhaps her mom could not handle his lifestyle and the danger it would put her and Ashley in, so she left when she discovered she was pregnant with Ashley. Revealing that Ashley is her father would flesh out the character a little more and maybe explore her as she deals with having access to his wealth. Also, it might make an interesting triangle with Vanessa/Joey/Ashley's mom. Seeing Vanessa be threatened by Joey's new found daughter and former lover, and showing and exploring her insecurities would make the character a tad more interesting. I would also like them to explore Vanessa's family and background. What if she grew up poor and now has all this wealth and prestige??

@carolineg Thank you. It is bitter sweet. After 30 years in Public Education in my state I am looking forward to being able to set my own schedule and do what I want, when I want. However it is also sad because I will miss my special needs kiddos and my dad (who I was looking forward to spending time with when I retired) is in hospice care. Thanks for the advice on GH. I think I will give it a whirl again.

Okay I retire from work in 3 Monday's. Should I pick up GH again???

This is such a shame and shocking as he is 7 years older than me (whoops just gave away my age...ha ha). I do wonder if Days would write his characters death or since he had a recast just gloss over Muldoon's passing.
