Well, Toups, it looks like Ken Corday will finally start to get his long-coveted emmy nominations. With four shows left they'll probably all get nominated for best show, best writing, best directing, etc.

Corday will get nominations by default. How sad. LOL

Toups just posted that OLTL beat GH in Total Viewers this week in the ratings......lol And GH is the safe one.

LOL This makes me stupidly happy--even though I don't wish any ill towards GH fans or for its cancelation, but I do hope this trend continues just to piss off Frons.

Ha a friend of mine took the day off work tomorrow and that's our plan too. And a great person on here just sent me a DVD opf 4 1980 AMC episodes covering the amazing looking Cortland Masquerade Ball which I think we'll be watching.

Greenlee goes into Witness Protection with Leo.

Ryan does a Jason Morgan & chases after a Gillian double.

Leo and the Gillian double drive Rylee to murder/suicide and then dance on their graves, while a green butterfly flaps overhead.

ABC has this great backcatalog of both AMC and OLTL, at this point it seems even more stupid to not make some money off it. I admit while I'm sure it would never make financial sense for them, if there was a pay site to watch daily AMC from 1977 or whenver they started saving it on, I'd be in.

BTW...here is something to think about:

The shows' profitability is determined by the Demos. W18-34 and W18-49. That is what sets the ad buy rates. This past week DAYS and B&B both finished a tenth of a point lower than OLTL in each category. And their respective networks don't own them, like the way ABC does own its soaps. What does that say about where DAYS and B&B stand at the moment, and how bright their futures appear to be?

I'm willing to bet if OLTL had been moved to LA instead of AMC, it would not have been canceled with AMC today. But Frons bet on the wrong horse.

Brad has gotten years of story (for better or worse) out of the Forresters & Logans.

It's only right he give the Spectra's a chance to be revitalized.

Anything is better than LAD trying to be sexy & Brandon Beemer pretending to be straight.

Jackie M is so played out and I think the show finally realizes it as they havent been featured in months. The stuff with Jackie, Owen and Bridget was going strong last year and now its non-existent. Id love to see the REAL Spectras return and not this cheap immitation.
