Too shrill for Sarah.

Petronia Paley said she unsuccessfully auditioned for an OLTL role right before being cast on AW as Quinn Harding. She said the OLTL role ultimately only lasted a few months. I guess that must have been one of Ed Hall's girlfriends.

According to 8/27/96 SOD, these were the names being thrown around for Sunset Beach:

Vets: Sharon Wyatt, Josh Taylor, Nancy Lee Grahn

Gen X: Kirk Geiger, Paul Anthony Stewart, Kristin Davis, Kristi McDaniel, Paul Kersey

Jonathan Jackson was also rumored to be leaving GH and joining Beach, but Guza said that wasn't likely.

Would you happen to have any articles about casting for Passions back in 1998-1999? I'm curious to know if Reily was going to use any big soap vets for the roles on that show.

For some reason i could picture someone like Peter Barton being on Passions and in the role as police cheif Sam Bennett. James Hyde was great in that role, but i guess after seeing clips of Barton on sunset beach where he had to do that weird scene being dressed as a woman, I feel like he could adapt well to the weirdness that was Passions.
