October 22, 200916 yr Member Of course I was. I`ve seen many people agree that her contract ends the end of 2010. Her comments in the mag interview were " I`m going to have a while her in NY first " ( or words to that effect) and also re the new set up in LA...." I may love it or i may hate it , who knows" Sounds to me she is still undecided and won`t decide until she has been on the new show set up.
October 30, 200916 yr Member I got a chuckle out of this: Another actor not making the L.A. move is Lucy Merriam, who plays Emma. Cameron Mathison tells Digest that the role will be recast. Ill miss her so much, Mathison said. It will be very hard to recast. From NB's article: http://tvguide.ca/Soaps/Suds/Articles/091030_suds_report_NB.htm Edited October 30, 200916 yr by Jonathan
November 11, 200916 yr Member This doesn't exactly go here but it sort of does. Thorsten Kaye is co-hosting The View on Friday to celebrate Whoopi's birthday. Could this be a test-run for a permanent gig? http://sn.soapnet.go.com/news/article/amcs-thorsten-kaye-to-co-host-the-view
November 12, 200916 yr Member Maybe I misread a tweet, but is The View having a bon voyage party for All My Children on Dec 2?
November 16, 200916 yr Member Just got very reliable word: Jill Larson is staying in New York until June, but will be commuting to LA to do AMC. She will be *permanently* moving to LA with her daughter in June (I'm assuming she's sticking around for a bit to tie up loose ends and to let her daughter finish out the school year). Yay, Opal's staying!

Yay, Opal's staying! I hope this means they have some plans for Opal, as I'd feel awful for Jill if she moved out there for naught. Pratt used Opal quite a bit when he first arrived so hopefully we will get to see more of her. Jill Larson is a fabulous actress and when Opal gets good material, she is one of the show's strongest characters.
November 16, 200916 yr Member It is good news that Opal will be sticking around. Years ago I could not stand her and loved Tad. Now I like her a lot. She is the only reason that I can stand Tad for more than a minute.
November 16, 200916 yr Member Any news regarding the productions staff (producers, directors, etc.) as to who is staying/going?

November 16, 200916 yr Member Concur. She can do both drama and comedy. Hard to do. And like Debbi she can work with EVERYBODY.
November 16, 200916 yr Member Yay Opal! They BETTER have offered her a contract I would hope so. If I were recurring, I don't think I'd move across the country just to be used whenever they want to use me.
