Raffensperger, whose office recorded the call, instructed that the call not be released UNLESS there was some attack on any state officials, or a mischaracterization of what took place in the call. My understanding is that one or both of those thresholds were crossed, so the recording of the call was released. The next few weeks are going to be awful and probably quite violent. That's not the fault of Dems. It's the fault of the radicalized cult that the Republican party has become. For the last four years I have watched Democrats be blamed for the behavior of Republicans. The first two we didn't even have the House yet somehow everything was the fault of Democrats. Then we got the House and everyone screamed at Pelosi to impeach. Well, we impeached and it accomplished absolutely nothing but to embolden him. The bottom line is that we wouldn't be here if people on the left had taken the threat of Trump seriously.
