^^Well I really hope the "Satin Slayer" (don't you LOVE that name?) doesn't get Amanda. I flove Amanda. Del could go - Sydney could go - but I don't see anyone but Dani, Kendall, Babe, or Bianca really connected to Zach.

Really good ep. Sad that Erin is dead, but that was a great reaction by Jonathan and even Ryan. Colby was cracking me up ("Babe is dead") haha..I love Babe though.

Zarf, I still don't get/not into, Del is too funny (please don't kill him off), and Annie needs to go.

Anyway, today's show was decent. Marla Kanelos did a good job with the script. I'm just thankful it wasn't Rebecca Taylor a.k.a. Queen of Redundant Drawn-out Dialog, or that horrible Courtney Buglar.

But I'm still tired of Josh.

Zarf and Bianca were cute today. I totally "get" (shudder... I actually used that dreaded word) Zarf... I still think it's ridiculous for the character to be a transitioning transsexual... but moving on.

I guess Simone's time in the sun is now over. Erin's going to be the new "OH LIFE IS SO EMPTY WITHOUT HER" girl. I'm glad Erin's gone. I feel sorry for the loss of the Lavery boys, but I'm glad that girl is off the show! She was one of the most pointless and ill-fitting characters on the canvas... Next to Di.

I love that Erin is DEAD! lol - She was my least favorite character. It's really creepy that her eyes are open though!

I don't give a rat's ass that Erin is dead. She was horrible from the word jump, and now the show has one less sanctimonious Lavery to deal with. She was a pill.

The show really is picking up. I'm starting to look forward to each episode again. I'm actually going to miss Erin more than Simone, but I know I'm in the minority.

I liked the scene where JR almost touched Babe's hand, even though I don't think they belong together. How many times do you have to destroy each other before you move on? Colby being protective towards JR is sweet. I wish Josh would show more of that toward Kendall and Bianca, but at least he thought of them today.

I loved the Zarf and Bianca scenes. I think they're fun together. I wonder if they will be interrupted before he has to answer her about what he's hiding.

The eppy was good outside of JR and Babe's Official Coupley Conversation Circles. I just tuned out of Babe until she sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher, just blaring and no actual words or meaning. I don't wholly dismiss Babe as a character but they've got to move on from JR and Babe (and the infernal Josh Madden, Stalking UnAbortion triangle of suck)

I didn't like Erin, glad to find out she was leaving and like others found myself moved by her murder and the other character's reactions to it. The scenes of the discovery of Simone's body and the reactions of other characters left me very cold and I LOVE Simone and do not want her to leave.

That leads me to say the direction and editing has been off kilter lately. I understand the sparkly new look and tone, a modernized, stylized, updated aesthetic is what AMC's going for...I wonder though if there direction crew and camera peeps can handle it.

That scene with Zach and Ryan standing in long shot with silence. Poorly done. I couldn't tell they lips were moving either (it's a soap, it shouldn't be that hard to tell). I heard romantic violins swelling. I thought we were witnessing a Zyan love bloom as fast as TPTB are claiming Zarf falls for Bianca. I get what the directors were going for...but no sale. If you want to focus on the emotions of the characters without dialogue you've got to give us close-ups of the actors.

JEff Branson did an excellent job, but Jon is still one creepy mutha. I hope Murderin',WellNotReally,HeCouldn'tHelpItJonJon is the Satin Slayer and gets axed or offs himself, pronto.

The PVPD (aks Clueless Coppers) letting JonJon hug and cry and hold Erin's just discovered body? Horse hockey. Leaving the entire Fusion office in darkness as they go back and forth to the tiny Fusion rooftop to investigate. They're would be cops and others hanging all around the Fusion building. Why not seal off Fusion? Why not tape off the Fusion office? Why that inane line of dialogue from the cop to Jon warning him away from the rooftop.

CM also did a great job. The man can hardly act his way out of a paper bag (watch him be an emcee, you'll see little difference in his "acting" as Ryan) but the only times he's ever moved or impressed me are in Ryan's scenes with his siblings...particularly Jon (like when Ryan confronted Jon about being an abuser). Cheers to Cam.

Zarf. No problem with him. I welcoeme the TG storyline. But this [!@#$%^&*] around with and disrespecting of Bianca's sexuality makes my blood run cold and I've been pretty open to watching this story. She's a lesbian, McTravesty...a woman that gets hot for "women" with girl parts. Her sexuality is well-established...we're not talking about Wafflin' Cheatin' Queen of Indecision, Maggie Stone, here. Plus Binky's a relatively recent rape vicitm who's never had sex with a man (because she's not attracted to them). You want me to believe she'd fall for a person who's physical manifestation is male? Jesus Christ on a Cracker.

Fine, you need Bianca's "interest" to establish the realness of Zarf's inner lesbian. It can be done without destroying Bianca's integrity. Eden can sell just about anything and it scares me this time. I hope the spoilered action for Bianca in Jan (with hopefull upcoming and more clear details, can put my mind at ease soon so I canjust enjoy the story). I want to but will walk away depending how this story plays out.
