GH: Wednesday

Today's show broke my heart. I was just tearing up all over the place.

Laura's last moment with each of her kids - and then her last moment with Luke...and then him breaking down outside as she dreams of their wedding. My God that was so sad.

GH, even though has sucked A LOT this year, has just won the Emmy.

All I will say about today's show -

They can give Tony Geary his Emmy now! He nailed it today, and it was pure perfection!!

That last scene with Luke crying and Laura going catatonic again was so sad!!! I was in tears!!!! I hope GH gets an emmy for that episode!!!!

I had to watch today's episode again on SoapNet. POWERFUL, HEART FELT, just amazing. What soap can touch today's episode.

Emmy for GH

Emmy for Tony

Emmy for Julie

Emmy for Nancy (even though she had nothing to do with the Spencer's drama)

I smell a GH sweep!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for Friday to watch the 4 Luke&Laura classic episodes that SoapNet are going to show.

They should just replay this episode again on Thanksgiving, so I could TAPE IT. DOH! This is truly one of daytime's finest episode this year, the only thing I see rivaling it would be "John's memorial" Y&R. By far those were the best two written and acted episodes of 2006. I won't be surprised if I see it on both their reels.

Yup, this was the best episode of the year for GH.

With this episode and an episode from Virus storyline, GH pretty much has Best Drama locked at the Emmys.

If Tony Geary doesn't take himself off the pre-noms list, I think we can pretty much give the statue to Tony again this year.

That was just...magnifique. GH has a lot of sorry points, but this is the stuff that keeps me watching and shows they are capable of greatness, but they need to stop being so lazy and focusing on these mobs stories and give us real drama. I was in tears. That song is absolutely beautiful, and the fact that Laura went to a place where she dreams of her and Luke's wedding...I just love that, seems like every time I see their wedding I can feel the love. They are amazing, and I will miss Genie.

The goodbye to the kids - beautifully done. The last segement was beautiful with Luke breaking down and Laura's last memory before she slipped back into catatonia. So sad. I luckily got it on tape.

This was a truly great episode, but if GH gets the emmy for best drama off of this I'm going to be annoyed. They've served up a lot of bad episodes this year. I'm sorry, but a few great episodes in a year does not make a show the best drama, although I know the people who judge may very well feel differently.

I really hope the show sees reason and brings Genie back to stay. She's been the best thing about sweeps for me.

I've never cried so much over a show. :(

Yesterday's episode was great. Laura's good-bye to her kids and then Luke and Laura's good-bye :( :(

Damn Tony really can get my tears going :(

This is why they are still so popular. Everyone loves the fun adventure stuff, but when Tony and Genie have real drama to play, you can't turn away. This was heartbreaking, but a much better end to Laura than her last exit. The Spencers are GH for me right now, the only family played with heart on the show.

Someone youtubed the end of the show, and I tried watching it again, but it was just too darn heart breaking!!!! I had to stop mid way because I was already in tears. :(

I have watched that show 4 times, and I have cried 4 times. That was just so heartbreaking. I know GH will probably win the Emmy for best show even thought they don't deserve it because of this episode and probably one from the virus s/l. The only other show that had a very emotional episode this year was when John died on Y&R, which also had me in tears. I hate that GH may actually win even though the rest of the year with the exception of about 5 shows were just crap.

Let me say that I don't care what anyone says, men do cry when watching soaps. I've always not been afraid to say that I've teared up, but damn, I cried hysterically yesterday with my friends while watching GH.

I was like AHHHHHHHHHHHhh I've got to stop!! Lol, my face was hurting so badly. I think I cried the most during the scenes bewteen Nikolas & Laura and Nikolas and Lulu. I mean the scenes w/ Lucky were good, and I teared up, but didn't get the reaction that I did w/ the other two. Oh my god, that was just heartbreaking. All of us were crying. Lol 5 guys and 4 girls.

Julie Marie Berman and Tony Geary totally won their Emmy's yesterday. I wanted a little more from Greg. I was really hoping that they'd give him some stuff to get him an Emmy nom. I mean he has the material, but I really wanted those scenes to give it to him

I'll tell you what, what made me cry hysterically was when Luke said his goodbye and then Laura remembered her wedding to him from the 80's. I had to call my Nana b/c I wanted her to watch those scenes. She said that even my grandfather teared up.

It was an A++ episode. This along with the other great material that GH has had this past year (and a lot of it didn't happen during sweeps you people who say they only do drama during sweeps) will definitely get the show an Emmy nomination.

GH has had a lot of great episodes, even a string of great episodes. If the Emmy's were given out based on OVERALL yearly performance, then GH wouldn't get this Emmy (even though there was only like ONE month out of the year when I hated the show, the rest I liked). However, we all know it's not, and with the storylines they submit, they are a shoe in.
