Carolyn Hinsey interviews Michelle.

CH: Sheila was just revealed to have gotten plastic surgery to look like Phyllis. So, could Phyllis really be Sheila?

MS: No. And I don't like that story because that means nothing was real between Nick and Phyllis. Would that mean Phyllis was dead on that slab?

CH: I think Sheila finagled a lookalike and did a DNA switch with the dead body, and has taken over Phyllis' life. Phyllis is really Sheila.

MS: I would like to play that story, where I'm the psycho and then I'm the nice person. To be a psycho like I was years ago would be so much fun. And then turning around with Nick and being like, 'I love you'? So much fun.

CH: But then you would eventually have to go to jail or to an insane asylum.

MS: But only as Sheila. Not as Phyllis.

CH: Imagine if Phyllis gets sprung, and she was still with Jack when the switch happened. She'd be like, "I can't believe you didn't look for me!" That's good.

MS: No, because then she's not with Nick. They love the Nick/Phyllis stuff so they have to figure out a way to preserve that. I don't know how they would.

CH: They could have Nick and Phyllis fall in love all over again, only this time with the real Phyllis. Imagine Sharon saying to Nick, "What kind of moron are you that you fell in love with Sheila with plastic surgery? You left me for Sheila?"

MS: But then when did she become Sheila?

CH: I don't know. What makes me think Phyllis isn't Phyllis is when she does things like make sandwiches in an apron with the waitress at the bar in New Mexico.

MS: Absolutely. [laughs]

CH: You can't even defend that!

MS: How about those love scenes in the Newman jet? They were pretty hot.

CH: Yes, all decorated in flowers and candles because you always want an open flame on an airplane.

MS: We talked about that. The jet hadn't taken off yet. It was still grounded.

CH: Phyllis and Nick are too lovey dovey for me right now.

MS: It's probably going to fall apart soon so you'll be happy. They can't keep this going on forever.

CH: She was a pretty happy bride...

MS: ...in her white dress with her big belly, which I lovingly refer to as my foam. Once I get this foam off, we're going to have a party at my house and we're putting the foam in the middle of the room and my dogs are going to have at it.

CH: That'll be fun.

MS: Yeah. I love my job. I just don't love the belly.

CH: So you're going to give it the foam finger?

MS: Exactly. More importantly, did you get my email?

CH: The one that said "F**k you"? Yeah.

MS: You called Phyllis the most boring woman on daytime. I can think of 10 off the top of my head that are much more boring.

CH: It's only because she used to be the most interesting character that she seems boring now. Like saying she always wanted a little girl. Since when?

MS: Her wanting a little girl and a family is completely where she is, because she has never had that!

CH: I don't buy it. But maybe Sheila has always wanted a little girl. Am I right about this?

MS: No. Can't you just accept that Phyllis is finally happy and having a baby with the man she loves? He's the quarterback and she got him. Couldn't that make her lighten up a little?

CH: No.

I do miss Phyllis, and maybe the writers have made her a bit too soft, but everybody deserves to be loved.

I wish we could see them actually talking this out bc Michelle seemed so serious and seemed agitated by Carolyn with the way she kept bringing up Sheila

CH is ALWAYS a [!@#$%^&*]. MS rocks, she's weird in a good way, which I adore. However, I do agree, Phyllis has lost a lot of her spunk. I hope she regains her edge soon and you just know a Phick falling out would be likely. I'm not seeing Phyllis anymore, I'm not exactly sure of this pod character I'm seeing. It seems as if MS is very pro Phick, which worries me a bit, to he honest

This just makes me love Michelle even more and how many times and ways does she have to say Shelia is dead. She defends her character to the bitter end. I also love the FU comment cause Carolyn Hinsley is an idiot espically with some of the pairings and storylines she likes.

I love Carolyn Hinsey and can say nothing bad about her....

However if I was Michelle I would have been agitated too.

Sorry, but I FLOVE Michelle Stafford. I used to read Carolyn's article, however, nothing she writes now interests me.

I like Michelle too. She can still be spunky with the Phick pairing. They just need to get out of the honey moon phase. I want Phyllis to keep her edge and stay with Nick. It'll be fun to see him trying to clean up her schemes.

I could deal with the whole Phyllis is Shelia storyline if this was a result. In fact, I would happily welcome it. Nick and Phyllis relationship all fake, along with Nick looking like a fool... good tv.

Man, I love Michelle Stafford precisely because she can be so prickly. She doesn't feel the need to be all "Like me! Please like me!" to the soap press. Kinda like Eric Braeden.

Plus she's being professional. Carolyn Hinsley is digging for spoilers and MS is obligated by contract not to give anything up. The Bell soaps are usually rigorous about keeping a lid on future SL developments until it suits them.

I actually do like Carolyn Hinsley, too, for the most part (although I feel that Mimi Torchin is perhaps more honest with her opinions while Carolyn might be a little more, uh, swayed by promises of "exclusives" that, say, Frons throws her way).

Re: Sheila -- there is only one Sheila. But if Phyllis got some of her [!@#$%^&*]-dog back... It needn't negate MS and Joshua Morrow's torch-hot chemistry, either.

I've always been torn on her. I recall an interview with Ty Treadway where she was basically attacking him because SoapTalk has three episodes a week instead of five. It's not like he produced the fricking show!

But yeah, Michelle handled it well and I agree, I'd love to have bad Phyllis back.

Alright Carolyn Hinsley kept pushing and pushing and she didn't get what she wanted so she pushed more? She's lucky MS didn't just up and leave but I'm sure she's way too much of a professional to do that. But I did LOL at the FU comment!!

I don't want Phyliss to be Shiela so I'm happy with hearing that she's not. And I'm glad that the lovey dovey stage is about over too, I love these two but it's too sappy right now.
