What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
GREY'S ANATOMY Season 11, which has been brilliant so far - the Ellis Grey flashback episode and Arizona/Callie marriage counselling episodes in particular.

What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
Lots of last seasons. Just finished THE SOPRANOS Season 6. Sort of an uninspired last season but good ending. Now binging THE GOOD FIGHT Season 6, which has been brilliant so far.

What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
I've been binging THE SOPRANOS Seasons 4-6. Halfway through the last season so far. Slightly disappointed with season 6 so far but hopefully Part 2 will pull it all together. JUSTIFIED Season 4. Brilliant.

Y&R: January 2024 Discussion Thread
While the show could get a little more energy out of their performers, MTS is doing great work falling off the wagon and Sharon named the company Cassidy made me cry, including that very touching scene of her and Nicholas talking about it later. Of course, this is built off of the (emotional) strength from something that happened 20 years ago, but it counts that Y&R can still go there. Then again, you had something like Christine and Phyllis' scene, which was more fizzle than fireworks. Because of the low energy performances (especially from Bell), Christine's egging of Phyllis to get a rise out of her came off as simply out-of-character writing for Christine - I mean, I think that's what Christine was trying to do, but you wouldn't know from the execution.

GH: January 2024 Discussion Thread
Wow, I thoroughly enjoyed the January 31st show (with the slight exception of Sonny/Ava, but even that had a nice set and some - gasp!- interesting lighting beyond the usual). Tracy/Carly/Brook Lynn/Maxie/Sasha and Olivia/Lois were fun, the Esme stuff was decent, and there's at least a lot of energy. It felt at times like classic soap. It's probably as decent as a soap today can be.

GH: O’Connor/Van Etten OUT! Mulcahey/Korte IN!
Exciting and thrilling. I already find GH the most decent of all four soaps (of course, that may not be saying much). There's hope for something even better. I'll be watching.

SCANDAL Season 7. Took me a little while to get through the show, but it was a fun, messy, addictive ride.

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
@yrfan1983 Yes, the show was enormously popular in large parts of Europe from the very beginning, including Italy and Greece. I've told the story before, I think, of B&B in Greece: While the show was called the equivalent of Bold and Beautiful in Greek, its nickname to fans was indeed "Caroline". In fact, 15 years later or so, when my grandpa saw me watching B&B, he asked "Are you watching Caroline?" It was so incredibly endearing.

BARBIE Movie
It really was a lovely film. Enjoyed from beginning to end.

ALL: The niche potential for streaming classic soaps
Generally speaking, I think YouTube is probably the best option for this sort of thing - just like Bold is doing. Anything they can make from monetizing is more than the episodes make now. That being said, if the library isn't digitized, the cost of that could potentially never be made back (and probably wouldn't).

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
He could be wonderfully effective playing some things, like arrogant or seductive, but if the script called for more.... I can totally see that. I was only half-serious about Moss lol I do agree he probably wanted to move on and somewhat minimize, for a lack of a better word, the enormity of Caroline's death and its sadness. Yes, I'm a little perplexed as to why it was the worst death scene. JJ did wonderful work throughout that story, really fantastic, understated acting. Granted, they are right about how healthy Caroline looked right as she died (more or less), even as she was having difficulty even standing up, but again I think this goes back to not making it too realistic and too sad... this is B&B after all.

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
Yes, when he drove off on his bike, I expected him to at least be gone for a few episodes, but there was none of that. The show clearly feels they can't be without Ridge. I was STUNNED when they just passed over Caroline's funeral. In my mind, Bell didn't want to force Ronn Moss to act that out, lol

August 1990 - the show is moving through Ridge's grief SO fast, it's somewhat absurd... but I kinda don't care. I mean, it's ridiculous he and Taylor are falling for each other two whole weeks after his wife died but their chemistry is unbelievable. Their scenes sizzle. Compare it to Taylor and Storm... who feel more like siblings... lol It's exciting that Taylor is finally beginning to feel like the Taylor we later come to know and love. ❤️

BOLD: Michael Corbett(ex David Kimble, YR) to guest star
Yes, while David and Sheila were both on the show during the same time, they never interacted or knew of each other. They could do a "you look familiar" thing but it wouldn't have basis on anything that transpired on screen. The exception being the scene where David was looking for Nina's will in John Silva's office and hid behind a cabinet when Silva, Glenn Richards, and Sheila came in. David made a "I don't know what that craziness was about, but anyway..." face when they left. it was quite surprising and amusing to have the two stories intersect that way.
