1923 Season 2. Great stuff!

I did find it a very strong season! While focus on the war isn't high on my preferences, it was understandable, and they certainly did a good job showing how it affected the household. That being said, I enjoyed the second half more, when we got more of the messier, personal stuff. lol That totally took me by surprise. That poor woman deserved better from a lot of people in her life, especially James (but, hey, he's pretty to look at!). I loved Virginia from her very first scene, so I'm certainly interested in seeing how she does as lady of the house. And happy to hear it has a good ending!

Just finished. Some wonderful stuff, especially in the second half of the season. Looking forward to the final season!

It's just so much fun! She really was what made the show come together. I remember thinking what a mistake it was to write her out temporarily. I wonder how I'll feel during this rewatch, but I'm fairly certain her absence contributed to the show ending after season 5.

Rewatching/binging THE X-FILES Seasons 1 and 2 (almost done). So much fun re-experiencing, especially re-discovering some of the monster-of-the-week stories. THE WEST WING Seasons 1 and 2 as well - so good to rewatch now with 20 years more life experience and understanding. ALSO.... lol FOOTBALLERS' WIVES Season 3, which is just as bonkers as I remember and so so so so fun. I had forgotten about that iconic season cliffhanger. Good times. Excited to rewatch Seasons 4 and 5 since I remember so very little about them. Hope you've been enjoying!

I think that's the intention: It will be five new housewives, and the street as the main character. Which makes sense to me. They could always bring back a character or two, but I think they can just move on with brand new characters. I am excited for a soap set in an iconic neighborhood. IF they get the chemistry between the main ladies right (one of THE strongest aspects of DH), then everything else should work from there.

Just finished Seasons 8 and 9 of FALCON CREST. Season 8 saw a return to basics and I found it quite decent. And I LOVED the controversial Season 9. It's been over 10 years since I first watched season 2, and I may rediscover it in the rewatch I'm planning soon, but -- despite a much improved show, I did start and stop with Season 2 as well. I kind of watched the season in thirds. By season 3, however, I was terribly impressed with the show (the show's best season probably). If you're still not feeling it when you watch season 3, I'd let it go! lol

FALCON CREST Season 7 (for the first time) (soooooooooo bad) SHOGUN Season 1 (sooooooooo good)

Yep. She went back to her most well-loved sound but evolved it in a very fun way. I certainly hope it's not overlooked, but it is what it is. There are no skips for me at all either. Time will tell of course, but this may be right up there with Born this Way, if not better.
