Rewatching/binging THE X-FILES Seasons 1 and 2 (almost done). So much fun re-experiencing, especially re-discovering some of the monster-of-the-week stories. THE WEST WING Seasons 1 and 2 as well - so good to rewatch now with 20 years more life experience and understanding. ALSO.... lol FOOTBALLERS' WIVES Season 3, which is just as bonkers as I remember and so so so so fun. I had forgotten about that iconic season cliffhanger. Good times. Excited to rewatch Seasons 4 and 5 since I remember so very little about them. Hope you've been enjoying!

I think that's the intention: It will be five new housewives, and the street as the main character. Which makes sense to me. They could always bring back a character or two, but I think they can just move on with brand new characters. I am excited for a soap set in an iconic neighborhood. IF they get the chemistry between the main ladies right (one of THE strongest aspects of DH), then everything else should work from there.

Just finished Seasons 8 and 9 of FALCON CREST. Season 8 saw a return to basics and I found it quite decent. And I LOVED the controversial Season 9. It's been over 10 years since I first watched season 2, and I may rediscover it in the rewatch I'm planning soon, but -- despite a much improved show, I did start and stop with Season 2 as well. I kind of watched the season in thirds. By season 3, however, I was terribly impressed with the show (the show's best season probably). If you're still not feeling it when you watch season 3, I'd let it go! lol

FALCON CREST Season 7 (for the first time) (soooooooooo bad) SHOGUN Season 1 (sooooooooo good)

Yep. She went back to her most well-loved sound but evolved it in a very fun way. I certainly hope it's not overlooked, but it is what it is. There are no skips for me at all either. Time will tell of course, but this may be right up there with Born this Way, if not better.

He's talented, handsome, and would make a great Billy. Too bad the likelihood of anything good and long-lasting coming out of this is very low.

GAGA! You gagged me. FINALLY. This is the album I've been waiting for, for years. A phenomenal project, from beginning to end. Not a single song that doesn't land. Beautiful work. She's found her sound and needs to stick to it. I don't easily say this but... album of the year. It's all I've been able to listen to and I will be listening a few more hundred times. If I had to choose some faves apart from the singles - Garden of Eden, VANISH INTO YOU, How Bad Do U Want Me, THE BEAST!!!! Love love love. LOL Of course you picked the Taylor Gaga song. LOVE it.

FALCON disappeared for me only to reappear a couple days later as part of Discovery+ available on Prime because I added Discovery+. When Discovery+ got KNOTS, each episode of KNOTS was available on Prime twice ; the Prime versions, and the edited Discovery+ versions without the previouslies. A few days later, they fixed it, and thankfully kept the UNEDITED versions. lol I'll call it growing pains lol

That was a very good start! It built so nicely to that final confrontation. I hope it's a sign of great times to come!

So excited to watch live today! Entertainment Weekly gave it a very good review as well, which I mostly skipped because I don't want to know particulars - I want to be surprised as much as possible. Took off this afternoon and will be parked on my couch. LET'S GO BEYOND!

It's been all about the 80s soaps recently: I've just (re)watched DALLAS Seasons 3, 4, and working on 5 DYNASTY Seasons 4, 5, and working on 6 KNOTS LANDING Seasons 4 and working on 5 FALCON CREST Season 1 and watching Season 6 for the first time

While it's popularly referred to as such, Victor didn't die in 1999. The family kept looking for him up to his return, and had plenty of suspicion/hope he is alive since there were tracks leading away from his plane crash (including a call from Ramona saying so). They were losing hope and some assume he had to be dead because how did he survive in the desert for months? I also disagree that it was a stunt. Victor's "death" (or lack thereof) was instrumental in the Newman Takeover (having provided Brad and Jack the opportunity to succeed unmolested and then solidify their hold over the company while he was gone). It was a legitimate storyline unto its own (potentially spinning off Ramona story) with great sets built, good performances, and a fantastic climax on location, and not to mention gave them the chance for another dramatic entrance (and the classic "I will crush you!" scene).

Yep! Just checked out Season 5, which was almost abysmal on Plex. So. Much. Better!

No ads on Prime, so even if the quality is the same, worth it to me!

You should! It's not brilliant soap opera, but it has plenty of greatness and is plain fun. I've been meaning to check KL Season 5, which is... not good quality on Plex, and see if they fixed it. I have a feeling they did, I highly doubt Prime would show it like that.

From the little I've seen (a few episodes in Season 6), yes!

So happy to be able to continue my Season 6, first-time watch, in somewhat better quality and without ads!
