  1. @Contessa Donatella Thank you for the link.
  2. I am intrigued at the thought of Hayley teaming up with Silk Press Sheila. Let's see where this leads. You love hair tosses Derek is no prize. Shanice is quite the thirsty thot. First Andre, now Derek. What? Today's love scene, the passion and heat was still there, and of course set to an R&B slow jam 🥰 Finally, Kat got called out and put on blast for being a spoiled brat princess.
  3. I've pointed this out before, but I think Pamela Long diminished Vanessa in favor of her creations Reva and Alexandra.
  4. Ewww. Vanessa is a nasty ho and Joey is just nasty period. I don't know how old Lauren Buglioli is, but I'm guessing that she's somewhere between 35-40. We know Jon Lindstrom is 67 going on 68. The age difference is apparent.
  5. Not that I'm aware of.
  6. Daytime Emmys stopped being relevant once Susan Lucci streak was over.
  7. @Taoboi Dani was killing me today, that's what I meant.
  8. Felicia intro overlaps with Kristen being on the way out. For whatever reason, Bill Bell didn't explore the Forrester daughters relationship. If Kristen stayed, I could totally see a Kristen/Clarke/Felicia triangle unfolding. I remember some flirtation between Felicia and Clarke but Bill Bell didn't expand on it. Lauren Koslow daughter was born October 1990 so her pregnancy leave would've been during the fall, unless she took a longer pregnancy leave starting in the summer. Agree that Taylor pretty much replaced Caroline. I don't think Eric/Brooke was Bill Bell original plan, but I feel that storyline happened because of KKL real-life pregnancy. Bill Bell dusted off two Y&R storylines (Phillip/Jill/Katherine and Stuart/Jill/Liz) for that storyline.
  9. Andre called out Dani on being jealous of seeing him with Ashley. He also reminded Dani that she pushed him away. I was done when Dani said Ashley "makes vanilla looks spicy".
  10. The EB episode was good. He keeps it way too real.
  11. Shanice, sliding in the DMs 🤯 Damn girl you thirsty. She was totally shooting her shot at Derek. Oh snap, Dani was not happy to see Andre with Ashley. It's about to go down tomorrow. Dani is not losing another man to another of her daughter's friends.
  12. This month so far has been "what is this mess?"
  13. You are NOT the father!
  14. From what I've seen of Krista Tesreau original recipe Mindy, she was a spoiled brat/daddy's little princess. Kimberley Simms Mindy had some remnants of spoiled brat/daddy's little princess but her Mindy grew up and matured. Despite the initial torridness of Roger/Mindy (affair with business rival's daughter), I believe Roger did love Mindy but they wouldn't have worked as a long-term couple because the specter of Roger's feelings for Holly would be lingering in the background.
  15. If you ignore fashion, technology, and pop culture references, The Golden Girls still holds up. Even though The Golden Girls focused on four 50+ women, its main theme of friendship appealed to viewers of all walks of life. I'd even go as far as to say The Golden Girls has aged a lot better than two shows it influenced, Friends and Sex and the City.
  16. Not to derail this thread, but are you referring to the cancellations of SWAT, The Equalizer, and Poppa's House and the announcement that next season would be the final season of The Neighborhood?
  17. Maybe pregnancy leave. KZ older son was born in 1987.
  18. In the July 9, 1990 episode we saw during the classics, an intoxicated Nikki refers to Cassandra as "the widow Rawlins". MTS and Nina Arvesen were part of a soap opera week on Now You See It in 1989.
  19. @ChickenNuggetz92 That is amazing!
  20. I thought Season 6 was the best season. Val's babies and Ava Gardner arc were the highlights for me. The last 10 episodes of season 6 were the peak of the series.
  21. Do you mean in terms of the show run? Generations lasted 22 months.
  22. Sheila has been played out since 1998. She's Bradley's "break glass in case of emergency" character.
  23. I was floored when I saw that near the end Dallas lost the time slot twice to Family Matters. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at CBS/Lorimar when that went down.
  24. Dallas was effectively over Spring 1989 with Sue Ellen departure. The final two seasons were a waste of time and they only happened because CBS was in their third place prime time mess era. In the final two seasons Dallas was regularly losing the time slot to Perfect Strangers and with the brief move to Friday 10 pm Dallas was regularly losing the time slot to 20/20. Also lets not forget the two time slot losses to Family Matters. Clearly a sign it was time to go. Larry Hagman got less big and bad when Angela Lansbury savagely knocked him off the throne at CBS and he wasn't so big and bad anymore when he lost the time slot twice to Urkel.
