Ok, what the f*ck was Theresa wearing? And that jacket made her look like a muppet. Nicole looked good though. And so did Johnny, Tate and Holly. I liked the party scenes and how different storylines played out around it. And the guy with the awful wig was back 😂 But once again, Leo was unnecessary. And it really sucks that he’s going back to the Spectator. That would never happen in real life lol I’m glad that Tate and Holly had their first kiss but the drug thing really seemed to come out of nowhere. We should have seen her get to this point or at least gotten an explanation as to why she suddenly made the jump from weed to alcohol to hard drugs. I was a little surprised at how Holly looked at the end of the episode though. I expected her just to be passed out, not seizing and foaming at the mouth. The show went further than it usually does and I’m impressed by that. But, awwww Chad. I felt really bad for him at the end. But I still like how conflicted he is as a character. His storyline can go in so many different directions. Too bad Stephanie’s been dumbed down though.

Yeah @j swift Maggie was in town when John first debuted, dealing with the aftermath of her rape. They may have interacted a little because John’s first job was at the hospital.

Wouldn’t it be so nice if Leo was killed off while Ron was on strike? I know it’s not happening, but it’s nice to dream about. Hopefully, they’ll be a lot less prop writing at least. I enjoyed Nicole’s therapy session with Marlena. Ari is still killing it. And I’m glad that Nicole confessed that, for a time, she did wish that the baby was Eric’s. With the way that Ari’s always played it, you could always tell that, deep down, Nicole wanted that. And I like that Nicole is now determined to be a good mother to Holly. Once Eric and Nicole reunite, Holly finding out the truth about her father’s death could be a really good storyline. Btw, Eric has a job? 😂😂 As for Konstantin, I still can’t stand him but I am a little interested in him knowing John from the past or wherever. I wonder if this was in Ron’s plan or if this is a strike story. It could be good. I just hope that it doesn’t contradict John’s already convoluted backstory. That’s for sure lol And besides, it’s been SIX AND A HALF YEARS!!! 😂😂 Even if things were going good, it would still be time for a change I like Harris as well. And its always good to see SB play someone that’s not a Jason clone, or Jason like at all. Was it Mia?

Today was really couple heavy. Not much happened but I didn’t really have a problem with it. The scab writers really seem to be injecting more romance into the scripts, without hitting us over the head with it, and I like that. Subtlety is a good thing sometimes 😂😂 Tate/Holly was the best part of today. They were really sweet and charming and I’m glad that they’re finally going on a real date. I hope that Holly’s infatuation with Johnny continues to be a part of this storyline. I don’t see them as a couple or anything but it would still be good conflict for her and Tate in the future. And I still say that they need some friends their own age. It would add another layer to their storyline. Like a hunky jock or a Mimi-like character that Holly can be best friends with. I was surprised by Melinda today. She was actually used pretty well with Wendy. Her feelings about Li and her guilt over his death really should have been the reason why she was so determined to have Sloan take Nicole’s baby. Yeah, it’s not the best explanation in the world but it’s better than the non-explanation that we got. I hope Tripp and Wendy end up staying in Salem though. They are boring but I still think that there’s a lot that can be done with them. Ron and Co. totally lost interest in them and I’m hoping the scab writers came up with a storyline for them, or found a good way to weave them into somebody else’s. Johnny and Chanel’s perhaps?

I love how Nina reporting a crime is now considered a sin 😂😂 And even though Chris and Dan are back writing, I hope the thinning of the herd continues. It’s well passed the time for Cyrus to be killed off.

Not sure what to make of today’s Chad/Harris/Everett brofest, but I didn’t really mind it, even though Chad is a bit of a dick for not spending the entire day with his kids. Bruh, it’s Christmas 😂😂 I still don’t like Everett, but him being a part of the drug storyline with Harris and everybody could be interesting. I liked the Kiriakis family scenes, except for Konstantin’s part in it. He really is like the Leo Stark of this storyline. He just messes it up every time he’s on. The best part of this is the Alex/Xander dynamic. I hope they continue to keep building it up until the secret finally comes out and that Justin starts playing a bigger part in it as well. And I’m glad that we got updates about Bo/Hope and Will/Sonny. And, we got a new set! It kind of reminded me of the alley behind Shenanigans, from back in the day. I hope it’s put to good use and doesn’t just disappear like the kitchen at Sweet Bits did. Wasn’t really a fan with the lack of consistency with Stefan though. Yesterday, he was so determined to try and stop Clyde but today, he came off like such a victim. There’s gotta be someone that Stefan can reach out to in order to get Clyde killed. Merry Christmas y’all! 🎄🎄🎁 And even though it’s Christmas, I still don’t care about Leo. He deserves every bad thing that happens to him. I’m glad Stefan finally let somebody in his family know about Clyde, though those scenes seemed a little over the place. And I did laugh when EJ said he wasn’t the type of person that would take revenge anymore but was more than fine with doing that like only three months ago. I still say Stefan should go to Chad for help. That could be really interesting to see. I’m also glad that Holly confessed to Nicole about Johnny. I enjoy their mother-daughter scenes. The two actresses work well together. And the family bonding scene with Eric and Baby Jude was really nice too. This and Sloan’s reaction to that relationship are a really good added layer to this storyline. Everything else was ok.
