  1. Fine with me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. Yeah... let's hope that nobody falls for Rachel and Sophia's crap. I also thought it was a little strange that today was the start of a new day in Salem as opposed to being a continuation of yesterday's episode. I don't like the storyline but I would rather have seen Brady confronting his awful kid then hearing him talk about it with Marlena. And we really should have seen Sophia today. As much as I liked Marlena and Brady being at odds over everything that happened, I also liked that Brady finally feels comfortable enough to confide in her and ask for her advice. But I still think that the two of them being at odds would've worked better if it had been tied to John's death and their grief. Marlena reassuring Brady that he wouldn't be letting John down if he left Basic Black was really nice as well. I wonder where Brady's gonna end up working... or if he's ever gonna get his own place ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ But I enjoyed Sarah and Xander's argument about Brady, and each other. Paul Telfer and Lindsey Godfrey work so well together, even when Xander and Sarah are fighting or are not together. They've come such a long way. Xander did bring up a lot of good points about Sarah today, points that could play into future storylines. I think what worked the most in their scenes today was that there didn't seem to be a good guy - bad guy dynamic in them. Both Xander and Sarah came off pretty much as equally flawed, instead of it being biased in favor of one of them, which works better sometimes, IMO. And I liked that Maggie also brought up the same points to Sarah, later on. And while I don't mind Sarah/Brady, I am looking forward to seeing how she and Xander find their way back to each other. And I did kinda feel bad for Jeremy though, both because he saw Alex and Stephanie's announcement and because he had to spend time with Brady's awful kid. Even if I liked the character of Rachel, I feel like those scenes wouldn't have worked. I'd rather he had another scene with Julie... or finally have been confronted by Stephanie, Alex, Steve, Jada, somebody. I get that they want him to be a red herring, but all of this feels so low energy.
  3. F*ck off, Sonny ๐Ÿ–• With all the bitching that this mf'er did today, it would've been the perfect time for Alexis to remind him about how he hung her out to dry for Jagger's murder. They clearly want us to forget it, but we won't ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  4. Same here. I hate Leo enough already for what he did to Gwen (and to Craig and Nancy) He better not do the same thing to Javi.
  5. Nepo babies ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I like the idea mostly because it would be something for Tate to do. It could even lead to him being a part of Brady and Xanderโ€™s feud. And he and Holly have been kinda boring lately. Introducing him into the family company could lead to some conflict for them. And it would be a great way for him to help carry on Johnโ€™s legacy.
  6. How ironic that one of the first characters we saw today was Holly. And also was full of characters who deserve to be killed off. I enjoyed Holly's scenes with Ari. Their friendship seems so natural, and I liked the way that Holly comforted her over her lack of a boyfriend lol. Holly was way too much of a cheerleader for Leo though. Ari spoke for all of us once again and I couldn't be happier that she's the character that they chose to not be a Leo fan. It just makes sense for it to be Ari. If Will and Sonny were on the canvas, I would totally support her teaming up with Dimitri to get Leo out of Javi's life for good. His association with their daughter could have been really good ๐Ÿ˜‰ And I'm looking forward to her internship at Dimera finally starting. Brady and Tate's scenes were good as well. And I'd much rather see Brady have scenes with his son than his awful daughter. I wouldn't mind Tate going to work for Basic Black either, but I understand his reluctance. Tate's lack of direction in his life could lead to something interesting happening. At some point this year, at least. He and Holly were really sweet and dorky at the end too ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š Btw, why did superspy John Black decide to become a fashion mogul back in the day? I can't remember. Kristen/Gwen and Rachel/Sophia were FF material, though I'm glad that this Bayview nonsense finally seems to be ending. The two of them teaming up was just a stupid waste of time. And yeah, I'll say it again, Chad already has a gay bestie and it's not Leo ๐Ÿ–• Can Chad start having scenes with Julie again? I'm starting to miss their relationship.
  7. Iโ€™m hoping now more than ever that Raven and Carson both win Emmys for that storyline.
  8. I can see LH as a recast RJ. Carson can be a new character
  9. For all my buddies ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  10. I'm not a fan either, even though it didn't break anything for me. I was worried that it was going to, but it hasn't ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. Am I naive to hope that fan backlash may prompt Days to reverse course and rehire all of them?
  12. I never thought Iโ€™d miss the days when older characters were pushed aside in favor of younger ones
  13. And it didnโ€™t need to be that way. There were, and still are, so many story opportunities for both couples
  14. I think a lot of people BTS need to be sent packing, starting with them.
  15. How exactly do you โ€œbalance the showโ€™s historyโ€ by writing out two legacy characters and their significant others??
  16. WHAT THE [!@#$%^&*]?????????
  17. Same as always Crying to the doctor at Bayview about what he can do to make his kid a normal human being ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ No chemistry? ๐Ÿ˜‰
  18. Today was a bit of a mixed bag. But it was nice to see Dimitri interact with another character besides Leo and Gwen, even though that character was Rafe lol I'm probably gonna die on this hill but their scenes today were just further proof to me that Dimitri's storyline and Rafe's too, would be a lot better if Andrew was the one leading the ISA-FBI taskforce to take down the Dimera's. Rafe's hateboner for the Dimera's, along with Andrew and Dimitri having feelings for each other, coming together and causing problems for everybody would've made this all a lot more watchable. The conflict could've led to some really good things happening for everyone involved and especially for Paul/Andrew. And I imagine that Peter Porte and Colton Little would have great chemistry. And we got to see Liam again, and got to meet his son. And finally see people actually using the Tom Horton Free Clinic. For a minute, I thought that was going to be forgotten about because of the whole EJ thing. And while this seemed kinda low stakes too, I am a little interested in the cut on Liam's hand and what it means. Maybe he'll finally have something more to do. Rachel/Sophia was just a waste of time though. Kill them both off. This is another storyline that can be considered a fireable offense, IMO. Brady was a little pathetic too. He's made so much progress this year as a character but today kinda felt like he was falling back a little.
  19. Agreed, that GH has been firing on all cylinders lately. I even enjoyed Cody and Molly. Drew and Martin vs. The Quartermaines was the best part of today. Jane Elliott was totally in her element. And so was Lisa LoCicero, actually. Hopefully, there are many more confrontations to come. And Drew did look hot at the beginning ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Btw, does the success of Heated Rivalry mean that weโ€™re going to be seeing Yuri more often? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  20. So, maybe Leo's not the same selfish POS that he's always been. The damage has already been done though. As tempting as Dimitri/Peter Porte is lol I appreciate that Leo didn't give in to Dimitri. The last thing we needed was for him to discard Javi the same way that he discarded Gwen. As dull as Days has been lately, the fact that some characters are not regressing for no reason other than that they're awful is one thing I can attribute to Paula/Jeanne, as opposed to Ron. The storyline is being taken more seriously and is more dramatic instead of being the cruel, toxic, poorly written joke that it was in 2023. The biggest problem with all of this is Leo. This would all be so much better and more watchable if it involved any character other than him. Regardless of him, a Dimera grandson should be involved with an Evans-Black grandson, or a Brady grandson, just to play up that whole Stefano and John/Marlena/Roman dynamic. But if we're stuck with Leo, I'd rather he be like this instead of how he was. And Peter Porte killed it again. Once again, he makes it worth watching. You really can feel Dimitri's heartbreak. And I'm interested in seeing what happens now that he and Javi have had a one on one showdown. Speaking of Javi, Sarah comforting him was a nice surprise. I wouldn't mind the two of them forming a friendship and commiserating about their messy lives lol Javi often gets stuck in a bubble with Leo or the Hernandez's so seeing interact with more people on the canvas is a good idea. Plus, Sarah might need someone to talk to sooner or later, especially now that Maggie tipped her off about Xander firing Brady. I do think that their showdown should have gone a little longer before Maggie interrupted them. But I did like how Sarah comforted Brady over his firing and let him know that there were other ways for him to carry on John's legacy. Xander could have had a better person to commiserate with though ๐Ÿ˜‚ As for Stephanie and Alex, they were boring again and so was their plan to set a trap for the stalker lol but I do like the way they wrote Stephanie today. I agree with Steve that she almost seemed like Kayla. I still think that not having Jeremy have a bigger part in this storyline is a mistake. As much as I've enjoyed his scenes with Julie, he needs a lot more to do. I really hope that their suspicions of Jeremy haven't been dropped. That could be the one thing that makes this storyline more watchable.
  21. Nah No cousin-cest if I was writing. Iโ€™d have Jeremy be solely preoccupied with Stephanieโ€ฆ until his ex arrives with his long lost son ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  22. Ok. Alex leaves Salem after he finds out that Stephanie cheated on him with Xander ๐Ÿ‘
  23. Who are we recasting Alex with? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. Co-Head Writer: AbcNbc247 Out: Greg Rikaart, Emily O'Brien, Stacy Haiduk, Alice Halsey, Rachel Boyd, Richard Wharton In: Chandler Massey, Zach Tinker, Christopher Sean, Colton Little Storylines: A Will/Sonny/Paul/Andrew/Dimitri/Javi/Mark mess, A Brady/Sarah/Xander/Stephanie/Alex/Jeremy mess, A Philip/Gabi/Theo/Arianna/Liam mess, EJ vs. Johnny, A long lost son for Jeremy who causes problems for Tate and Holly. And much higher stakes for everybody!
  25. Maybe it's time for a writer change lol
