Finally, some follow up with Shawn and JJ! I’m glad Shawn’s gonna be ok, even though I wouldn’t have minded if they had dragged this out for a little longer before he ultimately recovered. It would’ve allowed more time to play all the beats, not only with Belle/Shawn/Jada but with JJ as well. Shawn deciding to move in with Jada while he’s recovering instead of having Belle move in with him is a good idea and his explanation as to why he made that decision makes sense. They work well together. I’m looking forward to seeing this all play out… and especially the moment when Belle finds out. Btw, considering all the things that Shawn said were gonna have to be done for him while he’s recovering, I wouldn’t mind helping him either 😉😂😂 And yeah, I gotta say it, Brandon Beemer’s eyes are beautiful 😍😍🥰 I also liked that JJ had Theo to talk to about his mistake. I wonder where he’s going to go from here, especially now that he’s turned in his badge. Hopefully, we get to see it all play out onscreen. JJ/Casey Moss deserves to be used a lot more. As for Rachel’s hearing, I thought the acting was good but this storyline still doesn’t interest me all that much. Today, it kinda dragged down an otherwise good episode. And I have mixed feelings about Marlena being the spoiler. It seems really random and out of nowhere, but at the same time, it could lead to some good conflict for everybody. Plus, Kristen and Rachel do kinda deserve this lol And I gotta ask again, with all the talk about EJ’s shooting, has there ever been any word on who the shooter was originally supposed to be?

Damn. RIP Marco 😢 I honestly should’ve known, after all of Lucas’ speeches lately. That’s just GH’s style. I’m really liking the messiness of this whole situation but I also feel like this didn’t need to happen. Marco was a really likable character with a lot of potential, despite the obvious shift half way through his storyline. Plus, they finally invested in the character of Lucas for the first time in years and to see it end like this is kinda sad. I wouldn’t mind a Brucas reunion but I would much rather have preferred a full on triangle. And while I thought Van Hansis and Carlo Rota did a good job today, I have to admit I’ve seen better. On GH and on other soaps. Btw, shoutout to Finn Carr too. He’s been killing it these past few episodes.

Today was a bit of mixed bag. And we definitely should’ve gotten some better follow up regarding Vivian’s “death.” I actually don’t mind all of this but it really should’ve been built up a lot more. Maybe yesterday should’ve ended with Philip or whoever getting the news, and everybody could’ve reacted to it today. And we definitely should be seeing Dimitri (and Andrew) and how they’re reacting to the news. And not just because of my personal preference lol the prime suspect should always be included in a mysterious death storyline. That’s Writing 101. Plus, I would much rather have seen them today than Gwen and Leo and their crap 🤮🤮 Who wouldn’t? I did enjoy EJ and Liam going head to head though. EJ always works better as a true villain as opposed to a campy, clowny bitch. Ari, continuing to be included this whole situation is a good idea as well. It’s a good use of her and Liam and could lead to a pretty good mess for the two of them and everybody around them. They were really sweet at the end too. Their kiss wasn’t bad either lol And while I still don’t like the character of Rachel, in general, I do think that NuRachel works well with both Eric Martsolf and Stacy Haiduk. And I am a little interested in seeing if the whole pill thing somehow affects the outcome of Rachel’s hearing. Kristen, and the Judge were a little annoying though lol

I can think of a few 😂😂 At this point, I’m just gonna assume that all that “worst Cassadine ever” talk was just an attempted evil scheme that Helena was never able to get off the ground 😂

Well, RIP Vivian… I guess. I don’t, for a second, think that Vivian is actually dead though. But I’m a little interested in seeing this all play out. The crypt thing itself may have been a little lousy and stupid, and a complete botch of Peter’s return, but I have to admit, I have been enjoying the fallout of it all, and Vivian’s part in it. I like the way that it’s weaved in so many characters and their storylines. Philip’s conversations with Xander, and then with Gabi about her and the effect that she had on Philip’s life weren’t bad either. Speaking of Xander, I can’t help but feel bad for him every time he walks in on Brady and Sarah. He still needs a better temporary gf though. And now that Liam’s finally looked hot, I guess that means he’s gonna be looking hot more often now 😍😉😂😂 He and Ari were sweet today again. I still like them together, even though they haven’t exactly set the world on fire. I wouldn’t mind her helping him with his reading now either. Liam choosing not to tell Ari that he has a kid could lead to something interesting happening. And now that Gabi’s met him, and seemed a little suspicious, I wonder if that’s going to end up meaning something too. And Tate was looking hot too 😍😍😍 Too bad that the pills were giving him some trouble today 😉😂😂 I’m still not a fan of this whole pill thing with Sophia, but Tate having a part in it, and also being very smart about the pills today has made this a little better, IMO, especially if it means that this is gonna get wrapped up soon. He gotta lose that Miami Vice gold chain though. It looks stupid 😂😂😂

Count me in as well. I would gladly pay for Days, especially if it meant that the episodes would never be removed. But congrats to B&B! I hope it ends up being a gold mine for them

A long one today. 47 minutes. But there was a little too much Leo. There always is. I’m so tired of his bs pity parties. I would much rather have seen Dimitri in Alamainia, with Andrew lol or even Javi in Texas. Poor Marlena. I did enjoy Julie and Jeremy’s scenes though, and that she’s going to make sure that Jeremy gets all of the apologies that he deserves. I’m glad that Days established a relationship between the two of them. But I still feel bad for Jeremy though. He/Michael Roark deserves better than this. But I’m interested in seeing what happens now that he claims to be staying in Salem. And I like that he was there for Stephanie, and that Alex overheard their conversation at the end. Stephanie and Alex have always needed better conflict and I hope that we get it now, even though I have mixed feelings about the spoiler that we got, regarding them. Rafe and Cat going head to head over EJ wasn’t that bad either. I honestly don’t mind their storyline and the mess that they’re getting into. The biggest problem with this is the characters themselves, IMO. Rafe is just so insufferable sometimes and Cat is just so… ehhh. I would probably like all of this a lot more if it involved other characters. There’s gotta be someone else who could be a better foil to EJ. Speaking of EJ, I had mixed feelings about him today. I enjoyed his scenes with Stephanie and I still think that they have some chemistry. And I wouldn’t mind him getting involved in whatever Stephanie may or may not be going through right now. But I wasn’t a fan of him trying to blackmail Paulina. All of that, and everything with Lexie, in general, still just seems so unnecessary.

Damn. No Dimitri next week? I was hoping at least that Andrew and “Paul” would rejoin him in Alamainia 😂😂 But I’m glad that Liam is being used more. And I admit, I’m kinda here for Belle/Shawn/Jada 👍

Well… welcome to Days, Hank! 😉 It took a little while lol but Liam finally looked hot today 😍😍😂 It was nice to see Ari caring for him. They’re ok together. I like them. And I’m interested in seeing where they go from here. There’s a lot of potential for good storyline with them. But I do have to admit that it’s very strange that it’s a new day in Salem, as opposed to taking place immediately after the end of yesterday. I would much rather have seen Shawn be rushed into surgery and everybody holding a vigil around him, as opposed to just hearing about it the next morning. Sarah telling Hope that there’s no reason for her and Bo to rush back to Salem because Shawn’s gonna be ok was strange too. They really should do with them what they just did with Paul; having them there but just not seeing them. I mean, that’s their child 😂😂 But I did enjoy Shawn and JJ’s scenes today and the talk that they had. I’m looking forward to seeing this all play out both for Shawn and JJ, especially since Shawn brought that he had to kill Klaus because of JJ’s inaction. I hope Days starts investing in their friendship again. It should be one of the strongest friendships on Days, IMO. They both looked really good too 😊😊 I’m interested in seeing if Belle and Jada get weaved into this whole situation too. Jada/Elia works much better with Shawn/Brandon than she does with a lot of other characters and actors. And with Belle declaring that she’s moving in with Shawn to help him recover, I’m curious to see what’s going to happen. And as much I don’t like the Sophia/Rachel storyline, the cliffhanger ending with Tate was actually a nice surprise.

I love that we finally got to see them together despite Leo lol Peter and Colton really are chemistry magnets. Hopefully, Andrew returns to Alamainia when he’s done dropping off Leo, and we get lots more scenes of him and Dimitri 😍😂😂 Well, I think Andrew recruited her so maybe he saw something that nobody else did 😂😂😂

Paul’s ISA too. He was originally gonna be coaching baseball in San Francisco, but at the wedding Shane offered him a job so that he could be with Andrew.

A short one today. 32 minutes. But despite the cancer of Days messing up those scenes again, I really enjoyed seeing Andrew and Dimitri go head to head today. Peter and Colton work well together. I’m so glad that Andrew brought up Dimitri’s time in the ISA and his own kidnapping, and that he’s been hoping to “nail him” since then. They actually do have chemistry and there’s honestly nothing I want more than for Days to push something between the two of them. I love Pandrew but yeah, maybe it’s time to move on lol Christopher Sean is not coming back full time and Colton, and literally everybody, wants him to be onscreen full time. Andrew really should’ve been Rafe and Cat’s boss or something. Or at least should be staying in Alamainia with Dimitri, not going back to Salem with Leo. I just wish Dimitri had actually flirted with Andrew a little bit though. I know he’s supposed to be “in love” with Leo (just typing that makes me sick) but come on, give us something lol I hate to suggest this, but if Dimitri had flirted with Andrew, it could’ve even caused some conflict for him and Leo 🤮🤮 And just a little note about yesterday, the whole thing about Paul “being there” but outside the whole time was weird. They really should have had Andrew be in Alamainia by himself. Back in Salem, it sure was nice to see Shawn Douglas again and to see him join the fun at the Pub with JJ, Abe and Roman. JJ trying to save Liam from Klaus but choking because of everything that happened with Theo, which ultimately led to Shawn getting shot was a really good idea. Casey Moss did a good job again. I can’t wait to see what happens next and what it leads to for JJ in the future. The pacing of this storyline was a little off, but if this was Paula/Jeanne’s plan for JJ from the very beginning, I could totally get behind it, especially if it means that JJ is going to be used a lot more. And I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with Shawn too.

I’m still holding out hope that it’ll pick up again soon 😂😂
