Welcome back, JJ! We’ve missed you 😊😊 I’ll never understand why Days isn’t using JJ/Casey Moss more. He’s a good actor and there’s still plenty of story left for him. He could definitely be weaved into the whole Theo/Gabi/Philip situation somehow, especially if they’re going to continue to build a friendship between him and Theo. I enjoyed their scenes today and that they’ve made peace over JJ rejoining the force, even though I wouldn’t mind them being at odds or romantic rivals over Gabi either. And Theo and Liam finally had their reunion after all these years! It took way too long for this to happen and I’m glad that it finally did. I really hope that this is the first scene of many between the two of them. They could be at odds or romantic rivals over someone as well. Ari, perhaps? That could all be such a good mess. And JJ could be weaved into that as well, especially after his exchange with Ari and Liam today. I’m interested in seeing everything with Klaus play out too. As for Dimitri and his insufferable douchebag, I figured that he wasn’t actually going to get shot, even though that would’ve been great and not just because I despise him lol but he ruined those scenes today with his stupid crap, once again. He should’ve stayed unconscious. And as happy as I was to see him, not even Andrew’s arrival could have saved those scenes. Andrew looked really good though 😊😊😊 And despite my dislike, it was nice to see Peter Porte and Colton Little finally share scenes together. I did see some chemistry between the two of them. And not just because I was hoping for it lol there really was something there. In a perfect world, we’d be getting an Andrew/Dimitri heated rivalry 😉😍😍😂😂 There is soooo much story potential for the two of them.

As much as I can’t stand the character or the storyline, welcome NuRachel! I actually thought she did an ok job with Marlena today. It was nice how Marlena comforted her over everything. Part of me does hope that this crap with Sophia and Holly doesn’t handcuff the kid before she ever really gets a chance to play the character. I wonder how she’s going to play against Eric Martsolf and Stacy Haiduk. Speaking of Holly, I always enjoy scenes of her with her Grandmother and Aunt. And as much as I dislike the storyline, I hope that they continue to have a part in it, especially now that Holly and Ari finally had a falling out. Their argument today was good. I am a little interested in seeing what happens to their friendship now. I don’t really know about Philip and Gwen’s scenes though. I have like no opinion lol And, as always… #FreeDimitri #FreePeter Just because actors enjoy working together doesn’t mean that their characters should be in storylines together. Because in some cases, it can do a lot of damage to one or both characters, which is unfortunately what we’re seeing here. Dimitri/Peter deserves so much better than this. Hopefully, the spoiler that we got at least elevates this storyline in some way. He did look good though. His shirt was something that I would wear 😊😊😉 And yeah, Leo is trash. Always has been, always will be. The ending cliffhanger was good though. Like I said in the spoiler thread, wouldn’t it be so nice if it actually did happen? 😂😂😂

I wish there was a way that they could do it, even with the crazy taping schedule. Like a social media campaign or something, asking fans what potential couples would they want to see

As much as I like seeing Michael look all hot lol I admit I find it a little awkward that he and Jacinda always have sex immediately after they talk about Jacinda’s “traumatic” life as a sex worker. Kinda feels like it would be a 🍆 killer 😂😂😂

Yeah… maybe everything today with Jeremy/Stephanie/Alex would’ve been better if, at the end of Friday, Alex had come bursting in with a gun and shot Jeremy. But it was nice to see Alex get his ass handed to him. And finally see him (and Jada too) apologize to Jeremy. But I do think that Days should have built up the feud between the two of them much bigger and better than they did. If anything, for the fact that it could’ve led to some good conflict for Stephanie and Alex. Much better than what they have coming up, IMO. I enjoyed Stephanie’s reunion with Steve and Kayla though, and that the kidnapping is finally wrapping up. Brady was channeling his inner John today with Owen and I didn’t mind it. Rafe’s hateboner for EJ and the Dimeras was on full display again. Usually it gets on my nerves but after EJ and Cat’s kiss today, I’m interested in seeing if it somehow plays into Rafe and Cat’s assignment being exposed. And I am curious to find out where Lexie’s body went too.

Oh yeah, New Years Eve 😂😂😂 As for Jeremy, there’s so much they can do with him and for Days to do nothing is kinda sad. There’s so much opportunity for a Jeremy/Alex feud. Or, when he and Stephanie finally start to get together, have an ex of his show up, with a college aged son that he never knew he had 😂

Chad, Alex, Everett, Jeremy and Owen. I think that’s it 😂 And honestly, she would be a better (temporary) option for Xander than Gwen. And, for EJ than Cat. And you can more get storyline and conflict out of both possible pairings. They had the perfect chance to do something like that during the stalker storyline. The whole thing could’ve torn Alex and Stephanie apart as a couple, especially if they had had Stephanie start to come around and realize that Jeremy wasn’t the stalker, all the while Alex became more and more determined to prove that Jeremy was the stalker. Which eventually would cause her to turn to another man.

That could’ve been it. Valerie/Hogan Family debuted in March that year. Chris hung around Salem for another year and became a lawyer And it’s really too bad because in some ways it’s preventing storylines and pairings, that could be really good, from happening. I thought Stephanie, for example, had some chemistry with Xander and with EJ. But it was never really explored

There was so much chem testing in the 80s. A lot more than there is now. I’m really curious if they were actually gonna go there with #Carlena And if they were, why they decided to pivot away from it

And ironically, that was also around the same time they teased pairing Marlena with Josh’s Chris 😂😂😂

Andrew!! 😍😍😊😊😊 As much as I dislike that storyline, I’m glad that he’s gonna be a part of it. Can’t wait to see Peter and Colton finally share scenes together! Maybe we’ll finally get that Andrew/Dimitri heated rivalry 😂😂 Or maybe it’ll be revealed that they had a fling when Dimitri was in the ISA 😉 Looking forward to seeing Shawn and JJ and Ari/Liam too, and especially Alex’s apology to Jeremy It actually sounds like a pretty good week coming up!

So, the code to get into the lab is the day that Days debuted 😂😂 I still liked the way that everything was built up today. Despite some mistakes, the kidnapping storyline (and the lab storyline too) are actually interesting to me now. I didn’t even mind Rafe’s hateboner for EJ and the Dimera’s being on full display again lol mostly because of what it could lead to for his and Cat’s storyline, especially now that Cat’s confronted EJ about the kidnapping… and planted a big kiss on him. And because Rafe now found the pod in the lab. Now, if only Andrew could be a part of this. But I don’t think we needed to see EJ and Paulina going head to head again though. Their scenes, once again, came off like they were trying to out-camp each other, which I’m not a fan of. But I’m glad that Steve finally captured Owen. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with him next week. And we finally saw Alex again. Making him the stubborn, dumb one that refuses to believe that anyone other than Jeremy is the kidnapper was the right decision. Not only because it could lead to some conflict for him and Stephanie once this is all over but it also plays into RSW’s acting style lol the cliffhanger with him could’ve been a little bit better though.

One of the reasons why I thought that tying Owen and the kidnapping to the lab was a stupid choice 😂😂 But I admit, I did like the way it was all built up today. EJ’s plan is close to being exposed (even though I’m sure that it isn’t going to happen yet lol)

Today was mostly a kidnapping day again. But I’m not gonna lie, Stephanie was a little stupid with Owen. She should’ve tried to knock him unconscious or kicked him in the balls or something before she called the police 😂😂 I’m not really sure about Owen just deciding to give up and leave though. I mean, that’s it? If that’s how this whole thing is gonna end, then that feels like a letdown. He could’ve at least set it up for Jeremy and Stephanie to slowly die or something. But I did like the way that the idea of finding Stephanie and Jeremy was built up throughout the episode, with Kayla, Steve, Rafe, Cat, etc. For the first time, I actually wasn’t against the idea of the kidnapping storyline being tied to the lab storyline. And I am interested in seeing what happens tomorrow, especially with the way that today ended. Btw, where the hell is Alex? As for Paulina, the acting was a little… ehhh today, but I do appreciate the fact that Jackee at least tried to not play it like such a campy clown. I like that Theo was there for her too.

The kidnapping was front and center again today. I’m still not too sure about tying Owen and the kidnapping to Lexie’s return. It just seems like a stupid choice. But the were a lot of good scenes today surrounding it. As random as it is that Brady is playing such a big part in the search for Stephanie, I could get it behind it more if it was plainly stated that he was doing it as a way of carrying on John’s legacy and hoping to do what he would’ve done in the same situation. I actually didn’t mind that he was the one who suggested that Owen could be the kidnapper. Maybe Brady should go to work for BlackPatch lol and I did kinda feel bad for him when he walked in on Xander and Sarah though. Speaking of Xander and Sarah, I enjoyed their scenes as well. Xander brought up a lot of good points to Sarah today and I do like that he called her out on her crap. I would be more on his side if he would just get rid of Gwen though 😂 But yeah, they’re still totally missing the mark with Johnny and EJ, even though their scenes today weren’t that bad. EJ always works better when he’s not such a campy clown. But I still say that Johnny and Chanel’s roles in this storyline should be reversed. Johnny should be the one determined to be against EJ and Chanel should be the one coming around and trying to mend fences between them. As for Paulina, I would’ve liked her scenes a lot more if they were related to any other storyline for her, rather than everything going on with Lexie.

Honestly, after Bo, that should’ve been it. His return was so out there that it really should been the moment that Days finally cut the chord on back from the dead. Plus, there are so many story opportunities for every character involved in this that this doesn’t need to happen, IMO

A short one today. 32 minutes. But welcome back, Kristen. Now take your played out ass back to Aremid. It was nice seeing Belle put her in her place though. This whole Kristen moving into Brady’s house thing is a huge mistake. The one thing her character needs more than anything is to be taken away from Brady and put into somebody else’s orbit but she’s been tied to Brady for so long that I don’t see how they could do that. There’s no storylines for her but this, and this is just tiresome and boring now. So therefore, write her out… and write out the other Y&R interlopers too. I thought Liam was used pretty well today though. It’s nice seeing him finally mix it up around Salem with other characters. I don’t mind that Julie is now his literacy mentor, but I hope he and Abe still have scenes together in the future. He works well with both of them. And I enjoyed the little flirting between him and Arianna as well. It was sweet. I hope we get to see their date. And I am a little interested in seeing what’s going to happen now that Vivian’s guy is following him. And yeah… #FreeDimitri Just like Kristen, the one thing he needs more than anything is to be taken away from the character that he’s so tied to. But unlike Kristen, there’s still plenty of storyline for him. But he looked good. He always does 😊 And I see he borrowed the Salem leather jacket today 😂😂
