I've always been a little suspicious about the whole Peacock Top 10 list because one day, not long after John's funeral, Days was just gone from the list. It was usually trending around #4 or #5 every day, but then it was just gone, without even dropping down a little first. I always thought that was weird. And also weird that some days, reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond were trending. I mean, I love that show too but come on 😂😂😂 100% agree that she's wrong for the part. Renee Jones just had something that she doesn't. And honestly, I haven't noticed any obvious Paulina propping, but now I'm gonna be on the lookout for it a lot more 😂😂

Today was a bit of a slow one. But there were some good showdowns, even though I think that Days is still making some of the wrong choices in these storylines. Surprisingly, I found Rafe/Cat interesting. I liked the two of them going head to head over EJ. But it's definitely time for this storyline to have some movement or have another dynamic added to it, either with Rafe/Cat or EJ/Cat. I feel like it's been stuck on this one beat for too long now. Speaking of EJ, I thought he and Theo worked well together today. I don't mind Theo going back to work for Dimera as Johnny's second in command, mostly because of what it could lead to for the two of them, and everybody around them. I wouldn't mind a close friendship, or a feud developing between the two of them. Giving the two of them that dynamic could add additional beats to their own storylines. I still think Johnny and Chanel deserve a better storyline than Chanel having cancer though. They can do a lot more with the two of them than this. And this whole unfeeling oncologist thing seems a little too preachy, and PSA-like. But I like that Johnny was able to express his fears and concerns to Chanel, and that Abe went to go comfort her and Paulina once he found out about her diagnosis. Abe having to walk on eggshells because of Lexie was annoying though. Seriously, Lexie should've stayed dead. The storyline's not working and the character's not working. I'm not even impressed by Nikki Crawford either.

I could definitely see it with Eileen’s Kristen but based on the writing and the (Sorry, Stacy) acting over the last few years, I just didn’t see it. Considering that I’m basically Peter Porte’s unrequited love slave, I can agree with that 😂😂😂😂

John 😥 I'm so glad that John, Marlena and their kids were front and center today. It was nice seeing them reminisce and pay tribute to John at his favorite place in the world. Including his family's current storylines in today's episode was a good idea as well. I do think that Marlena and Kate should have had a longer showdown over the lawsuit and Kate setting Johnny up though. I agree that John would've been appalled lol hopefully we'll get to see them go head to head again soon. And I like that we got some follow-up with Sarah and Xander, even though Sarah's dream was written and directed in a strange way. But despite the clunkiness and randomness of that, I'm glad that Sarah's finally realizing that she does still love Xander, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next for them. Hopefully, it plays out for a while, which will just make their reunion so much sweeter. They just need to bring in (back) somebody for Brady in order to cushion the blow for him when it finally happens lol I also wouldn't mind Xander's offer to Gabi today somehow playing into his and Sarah's storyline either. Destiny, having ties to Liam was a bit of a surprise. I'm interested in seeing if that's going to end up meaning something, especially now that Xander is pretty much blackmailing Gabi, and because that Gabi is thisclose to be being exposed for how she paid Liam to get out of town. I hope that it ends up involving Ari and Rafe as well. The Hernandez family scenes were nice, but with all the talk of Javi and Gus at the beginning, we should've seen them today. And JJ too. I still don't know about Julie/Foster though.

Paul Telfer carried those scenes completely on his own. In some ways, it was similar to Dimitri/Leo, where one character's sex appeal made up for the other character's lack of sex appeal 😂😂

It was a little edgier when it first debuted on Peacock, but after like about a year, they pulled back. As for the current episodes, I think they pushed the boundaries a little with Xander/Kristen, despite the Kristen of it all 😂😂

Today was a bit of a misfire. Full of characters and storylines that nobody likes lol But with any luck, hopefully EJ and Rolf's scenes today means that one of those storylines and characters that nobody likes will be ending soon. I don't really care about Gwen possibly buying the hospital out from under EJ either. Despite what I said yesterday, I thought that everything surrounding Destiny and Xander/Sarah was the best part of today. I like how Xander was there for her. She really needed an ego boost today, and I'm happy that the love of her life was the one to give it to her. Paul and Lindsey are just good together, even when their characters are at odds. Their family bonding scene at the end with Victoria was really sweet too. And I'm curious to see if Destiny's death is going to be somehow tied to what we saw in the spoiler promo. And I'm glad that JJ and Javi are partners. I hope Days really invests in a friendship between the two of them, especially since I still think the ship hasn't sailed yet for JJ/Gabi. And because I think Javi's gonna need a friend sooner or later lol they looked good in their matching uniforms too 😊😊 I do wish we could've seen their reunion though. And yeah, I couldn't help but laugh a little bit when JJ spilled the beans to Leo about Gus moving to Salem 😂

Damn. This is a tough one. I was really hoping that he would recover. I hope he knew how much he meant to the Soap universe, and to the Disney universe too. RIP

Honestly, I can't blame her. When you have a boss who's garbage, and a head writer who makes it clear how much he hates your character, leaving is bound to happen sooner or later.

Finally, Justin got to meet his granddaughter! It was nice to finally see it, even though Bonnie showing up halfway through the episode kinda messed up those scenes. I would much rather Justin and Alex had spent the whole time talking about the baby, and everything going on with Stephanie and Joy. Speaking of Joy, I liked her and Kate together. I'll always hate the way that they came to know each other lol but I wouldn't mind a friendship growing between the two of them now. And Joy can use a friend, especially now that Jeremy's gone. Kate, trying to draw a parallel between her own history with Bill and Laura and Joy's situation was a good idea. Plus, Kate may need a friend sooner or later as well. Roman, finally believing that Kate didn't set up Johnny could lead to something interesting happening once the truth finally comes out. I had mixed feelings about the way that Marlena was used today though. I did like her and Xander together, and the fact that she went head to head with him over his and Kate's lawsuit against Johnny, but I would much rather she had spent more time with Johnny then with Xander today. He, and Chanel too, need her a lot more than Xander does right now. But I'm still interested in seeing what happens, both with the lawsuit and Marlena's part in this storyline. I do think the writers need to include more scenes of her and Kate going head to head again though. And I really did enjoy Marlena talking to Sarah about the anniversary of John's death. Everything with Sarah and her patient was a little random though. And Xander's part in it at the end seemed a little forced. I'm all for Sarah and Xander finally getting on the road to finding their way back to each other, but I think that there are a lot of better and more effective ways for that to finally happen, than what we got today. Btw, what's with all the closeups of the babies lately lol

She made harassment allegations too? I remember liking their introductions. Tying Cat, and her thing with Clyde to them kinda messed up any momentum that they could've had. It always felt like an insanely rushed rewrite. If it were me, I would've paired Mark with Dimitri. And possibly made Aaron bisexual to have a triangle with the three of them.
