Every time a soap writer tries to do that, it just makes me want to hate the character even more 😂😂

Temp Sloan did pretty well. I actually didn’t see that much of a difference between her and Jessica Serfaty. And I don’t mind her now becoming a part of Tate’s storyline. Having all of this tied to EJ/Nicole/Eric/Baby Jude could be really good. But why were Theresa and Tate speaking to Sloan like they didn’t know that she’s Eric’s wife? Eric/Holly/Nicole was the best part of today. I really like their relationship and I’m glad that Eric suspects that Holly is lying about something. Greg and Ashley play off of each other really well and they do make you believe that, despite the divorce from Nicole, Eric is still the only father that Holly’s ever known. But I still hope that Days does a storyline where Holly finds out the truth about her father’s death. That could be so good. And Nicole planning Jude’s christening party could be really good as well. Ava being written as such a victim is still kinda sad though. But wtf was this Leo propaganda today? It almost seemed like somebody who was supposed to be on strike secretly wrote his scenes. And as for the Eric/Leo scene when Eric came home… Y’all have been warned 😂😂

It still just seems like too much initial investment to me, both for fans and for the actors, writers, etc. Pretty much every soap that debuted at 60 minutes didn’t last that long. With 30 minutes, especially in today’s market, you have a higher chance of keeping people’s interest and allowing your storyline to flow better.

Well, this sure is a surprise. Can’t wait to get through this thread either lol I honestly never thought we’d ever get a new soap. I really hope this ends up working out. And that it maybe inspires some other people to pitch their ideas for new soaps as well.

I still wouldn’t have burned down the Horton house but I like the way characters are being brought together by the rebuilding and how they all are interacting. The bonds between them all are on full display and it could lead to some progression in their individual storylines. I’m still curious about the mystery of the lockbox/time capsule too. Btw, did another character ever wear the shirt that Julie was wearing lol like Will or somebody. It looks familiar. Brady vs Nicole was good too. I’m glad that Holly confessed to Nicole that it wasn’t Tate who gave her the drugs. I’m looking forward to seeing where they’re gonna go from here, especially considering what some spoilers have said. Jamie Martin Mann and Ashley Puzemis were really good today as well. They’re both pretty talented. The Everett storyline is still convoluted, especially now that we know a little more about his past, but I don’t dislike it. I still think he’s full of crap and that it would be a total letdown if he actually doesn’t remember Jada and their relationship. I wouldn’t mind all of that leading to a Chad/Stephanie reunion either. Their scenes today were really nice.

I suggested bringing back Jeremy, with a wife and son. He dated Stephanie for a little while and that could stir up some trouble. But if Lucas ended up having a long lost son, it could keep him on the canvas. But I still think Will/Allie, Abby/JJ and Shawn/Ciara should be back on the canvas

They should give Lucas a long lost son, and that can be the teenage Horton that mixes it up with Holly and Tate 😂😂 That Sheryl lady that he dated for a little while could be the mother I like them, but even I gotta admit, they got no story 😂 I don’t even know what can be done with them after this, except to bring in that childhood friend of Wendy’s to stir up trouble

I admit, today was a little boring lol but at the same time, I didn’t think it was necessarily bad. I was liking the dynamic between EJ and Stefan. It seemed a lot more sophisticated than what we’ve seen before, rather than being just some campy pissing contest that makes them look like petty, bitchy fools. Even though EJ had the upper hand today, the scales seemed balanced between the two of them, rather than being in favor of just one character. John, Steve and Ava really should’ve spent their scenes plotting to double cross Clyde once they get his annoying ass out of prison. As for Lucas, I think he needs a visit from his son 😂😂😂 And it’s nice to see that the monastery outside of Salem still exists lol so many people hid out there back in the day. Glad you’re ok! 😊👍

There was a rumor going around that the scabs changed the original plan for Everett, but I haven’t heard any follow up about it.

I liked the Julie/Everett scene and Julie telling Everett stories about the Horton family. Susan and Blake have always been a real interesting combination lol. But Idk about Julie telling Everett that he looked like Nick though. Nobody noticed that until now, not even Gabi, and I hope it doesn’t mean that Everett gonna turn out to be a twin or something. The Marlena/Paulina scene was nice. Paulina’s fears and concerns are very real considering the situation that she’s in. I think Jackee did pretty well too. But I still don’t understand, and probably never will, why Ava can use her mob connections to break Clyde out of prison but can’t use them to finally kill his annoying ass.
