Today was a little weird and very flashback heavy. But once again, Leo is totally unnecessary. And it still seems like his scenes are being written in secret by someone who was supposed to be on strike. Except for the Horton house episode, there hasn’t really been any kind of change in style at all. And idk if his flashback and guilt was supposed to be propaganda or something, but it isn’t gonna work. The only thing his flashback did was make me miss Peter Porte even more 😍😂😂 Brady/Roman was a little unexpected but I didn’t mind it. The two of them were actually pretty good together. As for what people were wearing for the Christening, Holly’s dress was kinda ugly lol and what were those things in her hair? And, what is it with Marlena and those sparkly jackets? 😂😂

Well remember, this is in a world where FBI guys are worse than mob bosses and reporting a crime is worse than committing a crime 😂😂 I like Dex and it would be great to get him away from nasty ass Joss but at the same time, it would serve a lot of people right if Sonny or somebody killed him.

Sam, FTW! 👍 I like Jason, but Sam was 110% correct when she ripped him a new one today. Her being upset about Danny’s part in Jason’s return was so justified and realistic. As for the Danny/Jake scenes and fight, the acting was a little meh… But I like how messy they are over everything that’s going on right now. Dex joining the PCPD seems like another one of those clunky story beats that suddenly changes a character out of nowhere but I don’t hate it. And no Trina, you didn’t have to apologize to that trash bag

Tate and Holly were good today, even though I’m not really sure about Tate being the big hero and agreeing to keep the secret about Holly. He’s a teen. Let him be messy and angry lol and I wonder if Tate’s journal is gonna play into anything as well. The whole Everett is still really convoluted. I’m still hoping that it turns out he’s full of crap, which would explain why he doesn’t want Marlena to hypnotize him. And we can do without Jada being so angry as well. The way Elia Cantù’s been playing it, you really get the impression that Jada’s keeping a secret (a baby?) Plus, this storyline doesn’t need to become just a Jada/Stephanie bitchfight. Xander/Harris bonding was a little weird as well, but I don’t mind it. My biggest pet peeve is when he lets his biases write the show for him. Can you imagine how different Days would have been all these years if he had been more objective lol

I don’t know how to respond to this without criticizing Ron 😂😂😂 He always did seem to have difficulty writing well rounded female characters.

Hey, Jason finally found out about Britt’s death! It’s a shame that the storyline was changed mid-way through; Jason/Britt were good together. And it’s an even bigger shame that that disgusting whore Joss never paid for her part in Britt’s death. I’m glad that the new team remembered Pikeman though. That storyline was ended way too quickly and abruptly. Also, can they finally get Curtis out of that friggin chair?

The change in style has been the best thing about the scab episodes. I’m gonna miss it when it’s over.

I still don’t like the Alex/Kristen fake relationship but the Brady/Theresa/Alex/Kristen scenes were good today. They’re all so stupid and messy and part of so many storylines at the moment that this could all lead to a pretty big mess that involves a lot of characters. Days has such great opportunities to do all that right now and I hope they take it. Other than that, everyone else was a little boring but it was nice seeing them so happy. Tripp and Wendy still need something good to do though lol

The Alex/Kristen fake relationship thing is stupid but at the same time, if it leads to Kristen finally getting over Brady, then its a good thing. She definitely needs something different to do. Also, with the way Theresa was written today, I can see why some people have said that the pre-strike storylines seem to have been paused. With the way she reacted to Alex, it was almost like there wasn’t a big secret between them. As for John, I love the guy, but those facial expressions… 😂😂😂

I completely agree that Andrew has a lot more story opportunities then Theresa. There's actually still a lot that we don't know about him. Theresa relapsing and overdosing in the aftermath of the reveal could be a good storyline. Andrew could come back as a result and be like the only person in Salem who stands by her. That would be good to see. And it could all play into Tate's storyline as well. I think that would all be a lot better than just having Theresa slink out of town like a coward.
