It’s like they’re under the delusion that they need them in order to have these short term story arcs, and they really don’t. Plus, for a show that so cash strapped, it makes more sense to get rid of characters like Clyde, Konstantin, Orpheus, etc. instead of constantly bringing them back and using up whatever money the show has on them. I imagine James Read doesn’t come that cheap either lol They are plenty of characters on the canvas already who can be the villain, especially when all these secrets come out.

Alex and Kristen? I don’t really know about them as a pairing, but at the same time, it would be great to have Kristen finally be over Brady. She definitely needs something different to do. I’m guessing that one of these two new cops is Clyde’s mole in the department. I kinda like the way that it doesn’t seem too obvious yet. And yeah, Clyde just needs to die. It’s well passed the time. Days really needs to move away from villains like this, in general. These fake ass Stefano’s and Victor’s are not gonna work, no matter what’s written for them. There are plenty of characters already on the canvas that can be the villain and drive story. I’m still liking the way everything is written though, even though sometimes it might get a little boring lol. Everything’s being taken seriously and not treated like some big, campy joke.

Anything to make this all be over would be great 😂😂 Must be a pretty sad life lol if some random nobody can put you under their control with only a card and there’s no way to stop that 😂

Yeah. As much I liked that era, the continuity mistakes and the rewrites of history were insane.

Not much happened today, but I like that there was so much follow up from Friday. The stuff with Konstantin is annoying and I hate that history is being rewritten to tell it. And, wasn’t Marlena able to break through John’s mind control and get rid of it for good? I liked the Johnny/Chanel scenes though. The conversation about Allie, and Chanel’s attraction to women was something that they should have had a long time ago and I was glad that it finally happened. I hope Johnny’s fears about a Dimera curse end up coming true somehow. It could be a good story for him and Chanel. And yeah, it’s time for Tripp to throw his mother out of his apartment lol. As much I’d like for Tripp and Wendy to have their own storyline, I do kind of like Tripp’s dislike of Stefan. That, along with Stefan and Ava having sex are added dynamics to this storyline that could lead to something interesting.

And for pretty much that entire storyline, the only thing I was thinking was, “Such a shame she couldn’t do that for Britt” 😂😂

Maybe this was done because GH knows that people would lose their [!@#$%^&*] if they tried to get Antonio Sabato Jr. back. Or maybe GH is just as tone deaf as I always thought. They could’ve at least cast a brunette Was Jagger meant to be an ethnic type when they were first casting him? Or was Antonio Sabato Jr. cast because he was the most beautiful thing you’d ever seen back then? 😍

Another long one. 45 minutes. A lot of horny people in Salem today 😂 I’m sure we all expected this for Stefan and Ava and I don’t mind it. Maybe the show could’ve built it up a little better but I’m interested in seeing how this all plays out. That seems to be the biggest flaw with the scab writers: the ideas are good and they’re executed well but they need to build them up and establish them a lot better. But that could all been Fired Guy, dictating things to the writers. I just hope Clyde doesn’t find out about it and tries to blackmail Stefan and Ava. The last thing soaps need is another Cyrus Renault: a sleazy drug trafficker who just likes to be a ball breaker 😂😂 I still think Maggie knows that Konstantin is full of crap. As much as I dislike the storyline and Konstantin, I’m glad it’s being written that way. I was so worried she was gonna be written as dumb and would need to have Xander or someone come and save her. Hopefully Konstantin will get killed off when it all comes out. Too bad the same can’t be said for Stephanie lol something tells me that she’s gonna feel pretty dumb when she finds out about Everett. And as much I’d like for Brady and Theresa to reunite, someone really ought to tell Theresa that she and Brady are not the next John and Marlena and won’t ever be 😂😂

Yeah… with that first scene, I’m still not sure how Father Eric ever thought he could make it as a priest 😂😂 Sloan’s attitude today reminded me of the way she was when she first came to Salem. I have mixed feelings about it but I don’t necessarily hate it. Maybe they should have had her go into more detail as to how she had no idea what raising a child was like and how she thought she was ready to be a mother but soon realized that she actually wasn’t. And yeah, I know there’s Covid protocols and everything, but I think it’s time for the show to have real babies on set again. The blanket just isn’t cutting it anymore. I like how Maggie was used today too. It was nice to see her looking out for Theresa and cautioning Alex. He really doesn’t know what he’s in for and him trying to learn could be used to drive story somewhere down the line. For him and for Theresa as well. I like how those scenes were written too. There’s been a lot less prop writing since the scab writers started and that’s always a good thing. As for Chad and Everett, I think deciding to interview Clyde about the drug ring is a pretty stupid thing for them to do but I’m interested in what it could lead to. If it were me, after the interview, I’d have Clyde send some guys to go try and kill Chad and Stefan, which they’d try to do at Johnny and Chanel’s wedding. In the aftermath, Clyde would finally be killed off and it would lead to conflict for Johnny and Chanel based on the conversation that Chad and Johnny had yesterday about the Dimeras.

Sounds very good 😂😂 But I was thinking I’d need a big Friday cliffhanger to cap off my first week 😂😂😂 So, does this mean that he isn’t the one to blame for Hahaha he did that today too

Hey, we finally got some follow up on Xander’s phone call 😂😂 I wonder what this is all about and I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I hope they find a way to tie it to Sarah and the secret with Alex and Theresa somehow. This is how you write something that suddenly comes out of nowhere. You don’t just change a character. Like with Chad today. His anti-Dimera attitude came out of nowhere, though his explanation to Johnny did make a little sense. I think it’s a good idea and I really enjoyed their scenes today, but maybe it would have more sense if Chad had tied it to Stefan and the drug stuff, instead of just Abigail’s death. I wouldn’t mind Johnny/Chanel being weaved into the drug storyline. I’m also liking the dynamic between Brady and Alex over Theresa. They seemed to be hitting a lot of beats with this triangle and what each character brings into it and I’m liking that. Plus, it’s a lot better than a Brady/Kristen reunion. The toast to Roman seemed really random though but I liked it lol
