  1. Lisa was an acting coach on GL, even after she left the for the last time as Nola. I remember Tammy Blanchard speaking about Lisa being her acting coach while on GL.
  2. Frankly, the way he openly tried to rally his [stupid] fans against a pairing (or hell, a simple flirtation) with Beth Maitland felt very fatphobic. Like somehow he felt it was offensive to him for the show to pair him with a plus sized woman. He was an albatross on Y&R for years and he only has himself to blame for being fired and for almost totally erased there.
  3. Trisha Mann-Grant Is incredible though.
  4. Uh, BTG has been preempted in NYC.
  5. I hate that Friday’s are Casino Friday’s on this show.
  6. Nicole had a miscarriage - was that really Eva who Dana stole? 🙃
  7. Dana’s actions are not rootable, but the actress adds so much to the material that Dana doesn’t come off as just an another one-note villain. She’s fun, but Trisha makes what could be played as cartoon villainy seem real and personable. I think it’s a case where it’s the actress and not necessarily the material.
  8. Everyone kisses Dani’s ass and excuses her bad behavior. We’re supposed to root for her, but there’s nothing rootable there to begin with. Weirdly, though, Trisha Mann-Grant‘s acting makes us want to root for Dana. An actress that’s able to play against the material and elevate it.
  9. Girl raided those racks at Marshalls!
  10. Samantha looking like Smitty’s classmate.
  11. If only we could give Razzies to daytime performers…
  12. OMG - Go the f.uck away, Ashley! I think Jen Jacob sucks as an actress too.
  13. Eva actually gave Tomas some spark and the actor actually became a bit alive (though he still sucks) in the diner scenes with her.
  14. Yep and we always need to be reminded about what a smart and amazing person and nurse this basic ass bitch is. 💤 Ashley, Derek, and Andre again killing all momentum on this show.
  15. Can Dana inject Ashley’s boring ass too please?
  16. Shanice may get her nosy ass killed if she gets too involved in Dana’s business, lol
  17. Given all the chatter about the actress being 30, I had a good chuckle when Anita mentioned how mature Samantha was yesterday. 😆
  18. This show is infuriatingly bad and I always feel stupid whenever I watch, but glad for the show and it’s staff to continue having jobs.
  19. Remember when DAYS tried to sell Midol as well? https://youtu.be/E2CuhtuwV2o?si=AR5iVWgvfPrDhnaU
  20. It's amazing how much better this show is (for me at least) when Dana, Eva, Nicole, and Ted are featured prominently, and when Ashley, Derek, Andre, and Dani aren't. Again, I don't even notice when Ashley and Derek aren't on unless someone calls it out - that's how much I don't care about those characters and have yet to be given a reason to from both the writing and the acting. It goes without saying, but Trisha Mann-Grant is a f.ucking STAR. The way she can switch from being casual with her friends in the diner, to being conniving against Ted, to bursting out in tears to hide her ulterior motives is amazing to watch. This is an actress who cares and invests beyond the bare minimum. If the Daytime Emmy's even mean anything anymore, she should be a top contender for Supporting Actress next season.
  21. I’m really hoping Ashley and Derek die in a fancy Guza-style May sweeps event…
  22. Having an actress that can act playing Emma in that age group is a much needed counteract to the horrible material Joss always gets. Trina could have legitimately served this purpose as well, but the show was never going to let that really happen. Trina’s on, but her material is written so insignificantly.
