  1. I disagree, Jon Lindstrom is boring as hell on this show and the Joey character is not clicking. When Anita went on and on about how she landed the ideal man in Vernon and what a saint he is - I just hoped that Vernon knocked a few other women up somewhere.
  2. What’s hilarious is what when the Dupree’s get messy, everyone kisses their asses, excuses it, and Anita and Vernon go into coverup mode. Those Dupree’s are such hypocrites (but the writing tries to paint them as totally right/moral) and we need more people to call that out beyond Leslie and Eva.
  3. Mona acting holier than thou…
  4. Tamara Tunie was on a local CBS affiliate in Baltimore the other day talking about a few things she had going on, BTG amongst them: "Beyond the Gates" star Tamara Tunie is in Baltimore for the Reginald F. Lewis Museum's 20th anniversary
  5. Just slightly older than the actress playing Samantha. 🤣
  6. I’m not going to take Dani seriously going off on Ted when she was willing to overlook all of Bill’s affairs in her own marriage and only got her feelings hurt when her ass was left. Absolutely hate that she’s getting a dedicated showcase scene like that - I think this is where MVJ’s personal friendship with Karla Mosley removes objectivity when writing for Dani as a character sometimes.
  7. Queen Leslie did look good barging in there though, lol
  8. Ugh - I hate that they have to give Dani a big showcase in every story. Girl, sit your ass down when you know you’d go back to Bill in a heartbeat if he ever gave you the time and day.
  9. Replacing Ashley and Derek with Tide and Febreeze bottles would be 100% totally acceptable to me.
  10. I can’t seriously buy cheating ass Vanessa being the comforting best friend to a scorned Nicole.
  11. Martin is a hypocrite, it’s not like he’s a totally transparent partner to Smitty either, yet somehow always plays the victim.
  12. Andre is stupid and needs to mind his f.ucking business.
  13. Exactly what I added after! lol
  14. Tomas actor still can’t act for sh!t. Eva just walked in and the episode just got better. She and Tomas are so gonna screw/hook up. Ugh, Ashley and Derek just walked in and the episode tanked from the high of seeing Eva again.
  15. “Wasn’t it obvious when I left you?” LMAO - Dani looks like a fool once again.
  16. Haley and Jacob had more chemistry in their small interaction than I ever saw between Naomi and Jacob. Same with Haley and Derek actually - that was one of the few times I can recall Derek ever having any life in him.
  17. Deadline is reporting that Jake Schreier, who recently directed Thunderbolts* (a return to form quality-wise for the MCU IMO), is the frontrunner to direct the MCU X-Men reboot. I thought he did an excellent job with Thunderbolts* - in a way, that seemed like an audition for the X-Men revolving around a group of misfit characters that come together under a common goal (the mental health plotline was also unusually deep but well handled for the MCU, a quality that would be important for any X-Men project). ‘X-Men’ Movie At Marvel Studios Circling ‘Thunderbolts*’ Director Jake Schreier To Assemble New Team – The Dish
  18. Very much in the vein of stuff Heather Tom and Sarah Joy Brown struck gold with back in the day.
  19. Ambryn Michelle and Trisha Mann-Grant are easily the most charismatic actresses to grace daytime in a longggggggg time. This show wouldn’t be as good without them, IMO.
  20. I’m sure Trisha-Mann Grant would love to play those layers too. It stuck me when she said in an interview that she could identify with the pain Leslie carried because she was a single mother of two struggling with no help raising her kids at one point. You can tell playing Leslie means a lot to her, as devious as the character is (which I’m sure is fun to play for any actor)!
  21. I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
  22. It isn’t just regular Tide y’all, it’s Tide Ultra Oxi Boost!
